- Jeff| 1 replyThis place is a sham. They are NOT debt collectors. Pinnacle Asset Group is a bad debt buyer. They mearly purchased a list from another company with your name on it. That's it. The worst the can do is PING your credit. Nothing more.
Let's say that you in fact did not close out a past account with a bank or credit provider. Accidents happen right? After a certain amount of time, the bank or creditor will sell the account to another company for pennies on the dollar. In my case, the past debt from nearly 6 years ago was just over $200. Pinnacle called me stating that I owed them $2500. They bought the debt from one company who bought it from another and another and so on. After a little checking around i found that they paid, ready...$2 for my "information." They are a joke. They have no right to sue you, take money from you, and especially no grounds to threaten you. These companies are a sham! DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CC# or BANK ACCOUNT INFORMATION. THEY WILL CLEAN YOU OUT!
Best advice, just tell them that they need to provide you with a debt validation letter. They will tell you that it takes 6-8 weeks. Tell them you will wait. They will stop calling you. These people are lurches, just looking for stupid people who are afraid. If you could be sued for this, don't you think the original bank or creditor would have done so already?!- Caller: Pinnacle Asset Group

- PINNACLE ASSET MANAGEMENT MARIETTA GA replies to JeffThis company is a TOTAL SCAM. They have people working who are on probation/ parole etc... They have the employees doing background searches on your info and when they are done they find a reason to arrest the employees. The owner "ROD BALL"..works in law enforcement .They gather enough information in a certain area to set up SWEEPS.....They are not even a real collection agency ..Thats a front . The name pinnacle asset management is another companys named ..This is a masked location for other things... If you go to work there and they can't find a reason to arrest you they want like you ..They let you go because they cant use you. DO NOT PAY PINNACLE ASSET MANAGEMENT IN MARIETTA GA ..CALL THE ATTORNEY GENERAL.. THEY ARE ALL USING FAKE NAMES...
- jbethI got a similar call 6/16/14. Call left on work voicemail, giving name Pinnacle Asset Management. Caller using name of James Jefferson, giving callback number of 678-831-4418. Caller said that I had 48 hours to respond, or that my account would be closed and that their client had a complaint against me. Only complication here is that I received a Chapter 7 bankruptcy discharge back in March. Thorough credit report ran, and everything was taken care of. My attorney was not in when I reported this call, but I left info on his voicemail. I am wondering if this is a total scam and if they are trying to fabricate a fictitious amount of money to bleed a person out of

With that said I was really considering everything you said up until you said they shouldn't have pissed off this ex-employee sounds like what ever the situation is you were not happy with the results of your employment status... I'm just wondering the real movitaives of this.
- BigA| 1 replyThere is a Pinnacle Asset Group and there is a Pinnacle Asset Management. The first is in NY and the second is in CT. Itr would be helpful if this company was properly identified so that I can gather the information to aid in your lawsuits.
- Gunnar replies to BigAGood Morning Big A,
I think it's safe to assume that the people here are talking about PAG in NY. I dealt with them personally a while ago for a member of my church. They are every bit as low as the people here describe. I talked with the same dirt-bag there three different times. He used a different name each time. They are the epitome of "Buffalo Boys". They are entirely unworthy of any concern.
When I get home I'll check my records. I'm sure I retained their info. I know you're good so I'm sure you'll have posted it before then. If not, I'll post it. As I recall, the social reject that was bothering the poor woman from my church backed off immediately after realizing that he wasn't talking to just another sucker. During my third call he broke in to obscenities & wasn't even able to put together any empty threats. He never bothered the poor woman again.
PAG is just another bunch of dodge & weave experts. They are no different than any of the other fly-by-night outfits working out of flea traps in WNY. I'm sure you'll find a LOT of info. on them. Have fun & post everything you can find. Rest assured, the twits in Erie county WILL be reading it. They monitor this site. They rarely attempt to respond. They are aware that they are no where near being able to intelligently confront any of us here.
Godspeed,
Gunnar - Memaw replies to annonymous| 2 repliesVery helpful! "Marie" and "Lisa" have left voice mails. Say it's important they speak to me or my attorney and that it's about BMG.
