These guys are 3rd party weasels that are contracted by parking lot companies etc to harass you about your unpaid tickets, so their ploy is to annoy you so much that you eventually pay the fine, and they get a cut (as do the guys that man the phones in India I would imagine).   But it's plain harassment, hope someone takes them to court.

These days I check my call display and if it's from a 1-800, 1-866, 1-888 etc., I simply don't answer.  They're all just annoying calls from weasels like these guys, credit card companies trying to get you to take out a loan or payment insurance, surveys, polls etc.

They call and do not leave a message and do not answer the call when you call back.  When they do they want your birthdate and I found out it was not for anyone that lives here.

I receive this phone call almost everyday(866-801-1526)and is really under my nerve.It goes on answering machine that we have an important message which we owed money. It is completely rediculous.

Called by this number everyday there few month,they are so so so so......ugly.

Caller, a voice recording, stated an urgent message that I call immediately.

Immediately dialled that number only to hear "call during our regular business hours".

constantly calls every day.
recorded message sometimes, says important matter.
Does not give any information, only asks for personal information of the caller.
Telus will not allow for the number to be blocked using its call screen function.

They keep calling. I looked up the number and found this site.  No clue who they are or what they want.  They don't even say who they are.  They call numerous times a day.

I have received a number of unwanted calls from this number.  When I am not at home the answering machine picks up the call and an automated message provides this phone number with no other information.  We have attempted to call back without success.  I will be listing this number on the do-not-call website and also inform the authorities.

I started receiving these calls when I moved to Toronto. Won't listen no matter what I say, won't stop calling. I don't drive, never have, never will. How the heck can I have a parking ticket?!?

I get several calls a week, sometimes in answer other times I dont. but i have a log report for the calls received. usually listen but then finally tell the to F***K off.

I get numerous calls with messages left for someone who I don't know. It is so frustrating I've tried calling back but am never able to speak to anyone. Whenever I answer a call from a strange number and there is silence I just hang up

I got a call from this number a few times and finally talked to someone there the other day. They we calling about a jaywalking ticket from 2005.

I haven't had legs since Vietnam '67 when sneaky Charlie got me with a landmine. How can these commie [***] chase a ticket for jaywalking when I have no legs???

Even though I blocked this #, it keeps calling me! There should be a law against harassing unwanted callers! What ever you're selling…..I'M NOT INTERESTED !!!!!

Actually the name of the company is a collection agency (fake or otherwise) called IQOR Canada which also has a website (fake or otherwise) that harvests collection information and then attempts to, well... collect money.  Even if you are not the party that owes the money they will hound you for information, any information no matter how insignificant it may be so GIVE THEM NOTHING.

Anyone who works for a collection agency is what I consider to be a lower life form to begin with and this company may be working off-shore with an civic address in the country that they say that they are calling from.  The common carriers (re: telephone companies) can sell toll-free numbers off-shore but not ANONYMOUS or PRIVATE or other forms used to cover up the number, which has to be done within the borders of the country they are working in.

SOLUTION, which has been mentioned in places around this website previous to my message is telephone equipment (I use Panasonic but there are others) with CALL BLOCK (it will say so on the box).  Any number, toll-free or otherwise I can BLOCK including the BOAT WHISTLE (you've just won a trip) disguised as 000-000-0000,  The number will ring the phone ONCE and then indicate that your phone is BUSY.  The caller's number is stored so you can save it in your phone's CALL BLOCK list (mine has 30 number capacity).

I continually get phone calls from 1-866-801-1526 but its a recording.   Every night around 9:30pm they call and leave a message it si important to call back.  They need to be shut down permanently!!!
