For over a week we have been getting calls from these people. They always have very strong Indian accents and call 2-3 times daily! Today they called us at 7:30am, then again at 12pm, and I just got another call at 3pm. They ask for someone with our last name but the wrong first name. When we say they have the wrong number they just ask for the person again or hang up.

I called them back today and the woman was very rude. I told her I want the calls to stop and she said my number wasn't on file and no one has been calling me. I told her we got 3 calls today already and she scoffed and said we had not. I told her we did and the person they are looking for does not live here. She said that they didn't have my number so she wasn't sure what I was complaining about. I lost my temper and told her she better not call again, with some choice swear words thrown in. I was upset that I forgot to ask what company she works for but if they call again I will.

I am getting extremely frustrated and the next time they call they are getting an ear full!

Hi there.  I also got a call this morning from some lady at 07:30.  Asked the lady if she knew what time it was, and she responded that she does, but she can't do anything about it because they were looking for some person.  The person they were looking to speak to doesn't even live here.  I'm going to complain to the the CRTC, and see if they can do something about it.  Its bad enough to recieve calls during dinner all of the time, but at 07:30 in the morning, thats going overboard.  In addition, what really upset me was the attitude I got when I question there tactics of calling so early in the morning.

I get a call from this number everyday asking for Gordon.  I don't know who the hell Gordon is, and I'd told them to stop calling me and that I was a different guy.

5-10 harrassing phone calls per day almost everyday.

I was getting called everyday. Today I finally called them back, and like everyone else, they refused to tell me who they are, or what they wanted. I told them my number, that's it, and I told them to remove it from the call back list, I lied that the conversation was being recorded, so that I have proof of everything being said, and since you fail to tell me who you are, I don't want a call back from this company. If you do not comply, I will sue you under privacy act of ontario.

Looked this number up on the internet as it kept appearing on my call display, 4 or 5 times a day and they never left a message.  I called them back and they would not identify themselves.  From reading the post regarding this number I assumed I had an outstanding ticket of some type.  Called our local provincial offences office and gave my driver license number and found out I did not have any outstanding fines.  These people are very rude - I told him to stop calling my house or I would report them for harrassment, he got mad and hung up ... Nice service!

These people should google their jobs, lot of info on legitimate companies. Change your number

lol, I've been getting calls from this number 4-5 times a day for the past 9 months (literally). I kid you not.

the company is Iqor. If they have your number for the wrong reason you need to fax a letter to compliance attention Wendy Martins and address that you want them to stop calling you, but explain why. Give your number and name and state DO NOT CALL ME. hope this helps.

I don't know why i receive this number every morning recently.
They say i ower some money 10 years ago, and i tell them to sell me the info, but i don't receive anything and they keep call me.

I put them on call screening so they cant call back. When ever i feel like it I return their call and put the phone down. I can hear them saying hello for over a minute some times.

[***] call 6 days a week at 7 AM. This undoubtedly for the deadbeats who owned my phone number two years ago (Hi Vern & Karen).

this number kept coming up, so I finally answered. It is a collection agency they want me to pay for an outstanding fine I got years ago in Brampton, Ont for "tresspassing"...........it was a bogus fine to begin with, i took a nap on a hot summer day, and 3 cops show up to "check on me"......I didn't care for their attitude (they were acting like typical authority figure cops) so i let 'em have it, and they gave me a ticket.........anyways, i told this collection agency that I will go to my grave a happy man knowing that this ticket has not been paid, and that it will never be paid, and that I am getting great pleasure from watching the city of brampton pay a collection agency to try and collect these monies. Aaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahahahaha

I got many calls from the same number.  After speaking to them they said I owed money for speeding ticket from 9 years ago.  I remember paying for that speeding ticket just like I remember my name.  But I called the city of Toronto and gave them the reference number they also told me its unpaid.  It's crazy because I renew my Drivers L and plates every year no problem.  They demanded proof of payment.. like who would keep receipt for speeding ticket for 9 years.  so to avoid harrassment from these people I paid the ticket again using the city of Toronto's website.  

So they are collection agency called "ICOR" but unfortunately they are very unprofessional and don't speak good english.
