- Perspective replies to Ex-EmployeeTalk about fantasies, this rep has made it clear that they are at work right now, at Captures.com. Fantasy! I don't doubt that you have conviced yourself, that the work you are doing is morally ok. You are delusional! If you fill yourself with self deception long enough, eventually you will believe in your own lies. Of course you are morally ok with the work you are doing. You don't care if you are lying to your self or the consumers. Let me see, you probably call yourself a christian as well, don't you? If you do call yourselves christians, you are obviously nothing more than a abomination to christianity. I feel so sorry for all of you, because this is obviously the best that you can do with your life. MEDIOCRITY is the best you will ever accomplish in this life. What a waste! Are we finished here? Or, do you want to continue?
- Ex-Employee| 3 repliesHahaha, you are doing a wonderful job of proving my points Mr. Perspective. We can continue as long as you like, makes my job of clearing things up for the consumers who care much easier with you helping the cause by digging yourself into a deeper hole. Its quite clear what you are all about here.
- Perspective replies to Ex-Employee| 2 repliesBut don't you see, I have already cleared things up for your consumers. Don't you get it? Does Warren know that you are wasting time on the interenet when you should be working? I suggest that you get a life! I have work to do. Check Mate!
- Ex-Employee replies to Perspective| 1 replyShows how much you know, like I said you are clear, just not like how you think apparently. Get a life schmuck. Get over whatever they supposedly did to you, obviously you are not a customer, then get a life.
- Real replies to Ex-EmployeeYou would like to believe that this person is not a customer, and that way you can try to make yourself look good. You want consumers to believe that someone is just setting you up. Mr Perspective sounds credible to me. In fact every time you post a comment on this site, you make your company sound like we are dealing with thugs and loosers. Don't embarase yourselves any more than you have. I have read some of the comments on Rip Off Report, and the attitude you have is very similar to the employees that work at Captures. If your goal is to make yourselves look bad you have succeeded!
- Ex-Employee| 2 repliesWhat's real is that it's easy to subpoena IP addresses from sites like this, that's all anyone really needs to get to the bottom of who is who. What will Perpective's be? Hmmm.
- Perspective replies to Ex-EmployeeIf you really are a Ex employee of this company, why would you go to all the trouble unless you feel threatened in some way. And if you are threatened, then you are obviously a current employee at Captures.com. Also looking at your comments, I sense that there are at least three people who have made comments under the name Ex employee. And the last one sounds like a manager. I have touched a nerve, haven't I. Are you going to handle the complaints on all the other consumer sites in the same way. Just google your company name, and you will notice that there are several complaints there as well. Several pages of them. Are all these people really just giving you a bad name, or do they really have a ax to grind? Based on the comments that your consumers have made on this site, it looks like your are out numbered. I could get your address as well, but I already know what your address is, and who you are. You are not a Ex employee. You see every time you post a comment on this site you discredit your self, and show people just how threatened you are. So maybe it is time for you to hire a real PR Firm instead of handeling this all by your selves. If you had any real business sense!
- 136You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can't fool all of the people all of the time.
Perspective, just hit the nail on the head. One of the most important aspects of the web is that anyone - and everyone - can be heard. It's a great democratizing force.
The incredibly shallow and slimy doublespeak that Captures is engaging in is continually more and more telling. If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, and looks like a duck ... well, then, it's a duck!
Come on guys, you're smart enough to make a buck, but you're not smarter than everyone. - Law Suit replies to Other SourcesAs you scroll through the pages on the search engines when you google Captures.com & Web Marketing Source, you will come across a law suit that was filed in Utah. It appears that there are federal issues filed against the company. It also appears that there are several people getting groups together to file a class action law suit. Not sure if they have moved forward on this.
- Online ResearchAnother interesting bit of information on Captures.com:
Since they had an UNSATISFACTORY rating and over 40 complaints...on the Better Business Bureau site, under their name Captures.com...they decided to clean the BBB slate...by re-registering under an alias...now calling themselves for BBB purposes Visible.net. Whether or not...this is another company they do business as...is irrelevant here...it's ever so obvious what they've done.
That is a flaw of the BBB. A company can just change their name or address...and their ratings will then start from square one. Unfair to consumers...and a HUGE complaint I have with the BBB...but extremely enticing to the companys out there with bad reputations. All I can say to Captures.com and other companies like them, who feel this is a way to dodge the bullet...they are sadly mistaken. Your bad reputation WILL continue to follow you, whereever you go, and whatever name you choose to call yourselves...at any given time. The truth will always prevail.- Call type: Telemarketer
- NAAll I can say is don't give these people the time of day! I too am another victim of this phony company and everything others have posted on here is the absolute truth. I have had the same experiences as what others posted on here. Luckily right after I signed up with them and they refused to cancel my contract I disputed with my credit card company and got my money back! But eventually I had to cancel my card and get a new one reissued because they felt they had the right to keep trying to charge my card monthly for non-existent services. Word of advice - DON'T GIVE THIS COMPANY ANY CREDIT CARD OR CHECKING ACCOUNT DEATILS! They will take it and charge all they want to it. They have been a complete nightmare for my company and I urge anyone considering doing business with them to think twice.

- winneyokay, so I received several calls from this number. Out of the six calls they left 2 messages ( recordings) for a website analyasis. The only real reason I called them back is that they called my cell number, everyone else calls my house. my cell number isn't even in my name. Only the people who sold me my website has that number. Anyway I called them back and talked to a really nice guy who said he was from visible.net. I was running short on time so we sceduled to go over my website tomarrow. I'm soooo glad I decided to check them out first!! So when he calls I'll tell him to forget about it. He said they have been doing business for at least 7 years that doesn't match what I found out just by my own searching. Thank you for sharing your experiences. It stopped me from making a BIG mistake!!!! THANK YOU!

- Attention Consumers replies to kbaby4life| 1 replyIf these people call you again, after you have read all of these threads, let them go through their pitch so that you can report your experiences with this company. Give use the date, time, name of rep, and a cell number for direct contact to the sales rep that called you. Also document websites that they take you to, to show you their technology. Most of those sites are owned by people that work there. Document your experiences with this company here so that other consumers and state agencies can verify that the sales tactics used by this company are real. Let them take you to the agreement on their site, copy that, and ask for their contact information. DO NOT ELECTRONICALLY CLICK ON THAT AGREEMENT. Just tell them that you want to read this first and hang up. If you can get a copy of the agreement send that to your local FBI, FTC, and local television stations.
- Online ResearchHi Winney,
I'm so glad you found all this information out, about the company, before getting involved with them. You definitely saved yourself, from a great deal of misery. I'm also glad you mentioned that the call you received, was from Visible.net. That confirms, what I previously mentioned...about them now using that name, to throw people off the track, from the bad press out there on their company...which was previously going by the name Captures.com/WebMarketingSource.com.
It is a great feeling to know we've helped you. If you've read any of the stories on Ripoffreport.com, you'll be appalled by how their customers have been treated...and the horror stories, about their experiences.
It's great to know these postings help people out there...being solicited by this company, make an informed decision. The only decision, is to tell them NO.
And a bit of advice for when they call you back. Be VERY FIRM, when telling them NO. From someone who knows...DO NOT let them bully you into anything. They are very persistant...and do not like to take no for an answer.- Call type: Telemarketer
- Good Service| 1 replyJust wanted to say I think they have been a tremendous help to me and have delivered on what they say. I just upgraded and would again without hesitation. Hope my experience helps others.
- Online ResearchJust like Perspective asked the other guy who had quote unquote such great service...what is your Name and URL. We'd all love to know the site that is doing so well. Prove that you are not another Captures.com (now Visible.net) employee.

- Certifiable replies to Gauntlet| 4 repliesIf you go to ripoffreport.com to the complaint, with the mother who is raising two children, there is a rebuttal there from someone who went to Captures.com to do an audit. They mentionion the appauling conditions of the office and the people that work there, that are not dressed like professional sales reps. Matt steps in, and advocates that they wear uniforms ect. Not true! Matt is obviously a pathological liar. If you really want to take a look at the kind of people that you are dealing with, go to the address listed below, and see for your self. These people do not wear matching uniforms. These people are very slovenly.

Redmond, WA 98052
The company employees, and their office is exactly the way that it has been described by the Ex Employee and the individual that conducted a audit on www.ripoffreport.com. These details are true and exact. There are clients that visit the facility to talk to the technicains about their website, but they go over to the other side of the building where the technicains are, and they never see the call center. If they did, they probably would never have paid for the service.
Also there is a rebuttal on ripoffreport.com from Ronna Wichelmann telling their client (who is disabled) to just get over the fact that he was ripped off. That is definitly Ronna. Why am I so sure? Many of the people that work there insult your intelligence and try to intimidate you by making comments about correcting your grammar or spelling. It is a part of their MO, (mode of opperation). That was Ronna making those comments. Ronna doesn't live in Bellevue, but she probably belongs in the Bellvue Hospital. If you go to the complaint made by the Ex Employee that who was sexually harassed, some of the rebuttals there prove my point. The rebuttal made under the name, fly on the wall, is Warren. He also offers to correct your grammar, as he reads your rebuttal. He says that he doesn't mind if consumers make comments on these sites, as long as they are willing to be creative. As you can see from all the complaints, this company is very creative, when it comes to ripping you off, and the consumers explain in great detail, exactly how that is done.
If you are thinking of replacing multiple websites that you currently have, with some of the websites this company sells, more than likely Mike Bixby will be put on the phone to sell those multiple sites to you. DO NOT BUY THOSE SITES FROM HIM. Mike is a smooth talker! He has no self respect, and he has no repect for you. This man has a chip on his shoulder because he feels inferior to begin with, and he is determined to make as much money off of you as possible to elevate his self worth, so that he can spend that money on bling, bling, so that he can feel important. If he has ripped you off, you can contact him directly by calling his cell number to get to the bottom of it. That number is 206-422-1091. This guy is a slob, not only in the way that he behaves, but he never does anything for you, unless he is getting something of greater value in return. This man has two personalities. The polite patient personality, when he wants something from you, and then the FU personality when he looses control. One of the tactics that he will use with you, is to offer to talk to his manager about giving you a website at the price that you want. He will then put you on hold, and pretend to talk to a manager, and come back and tell you that he spoke to his manager, and tell you that his manager told him to F off, no way......to give you the impression that he was willing to pull strings for you, but he just couldn't make it happen. This is to establish rapport, and the tactic is a take away close. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH MIKE BIXBY. He has no respect for women. His attitude towards women is sick and disgusting. If you could hear some of the things that he says about women and their body parts, you would be disgusted. I wouldn't be surprised, if some day, when Mike is at a bar and he makes a comment about someones date, someone may not be happy about that, and give this guy beating, and it would be well deserved. What really amazes me is this guy is married. Some poor thing was stupid enough to marry this man. Can you imagine! But I'm sure that Mike made sure that he got something out of the marriage, of greater value. He is always thinking along those lines.
If you don't belive that this company opperates the way it is described, just go there and apply for a job, and you will see that it is everything that these people reported on Rip Off Report. I guarantee it! These people always try to intimidate people by threatening to file law suits against people who tell the truth about their company, or get their IP address from sites like this. Don't allow them to intimidate you. Freedom of speech is a wonderful thing, and there is nothing wrong with telling the truth. This is the United States of AMERICA..........remember that. - Certifiable replies to GauntletIf you have been contacted by this company, using the name Visible.net file your reports at www.ripoffreport.com under that name, so that those complaints will come up on the search engines when people google this comapany name. If the consumer is informed about all the names that this company goes by, and the complaints against them, there is a better chance that those consumers won't be ripped off.
- Certifiable replies to Certifiable| 3 repliesThis is the comment posted by the "Fly on the Wall" on Rip Off Report, as a rebuttal to the comlaint that the Ex Employee filed on this site. There are two rebuttals, under this complaint, and they are very lengthy. I don't know about you, but I realize that it is important for the victim to give several details to account for the things that they went through, so that others can make comparisons to those details. On the other hand, if Warren or any of their other associates need to go into a lengthy discussion, in defense, that is a sign that they are not telling the truth. You know what they say, the more they talk, and explain, the more they lie. The truth is usually short and to the point. Also, Warren does not spell the word before correctly, and there are other errors. This is the behavior of someone who feels inferior and threatened to begin with.
"So in closing, I don't believe a comparison of me to the poster known as Ronna is fair, though I'd be happy to proofread your next post for grammatical errors befoe you post it if you wish. I think that you, Cindy, are correct in shooting down my comparison of our Company to Nordstroms, they sell products and we provide a service, which are indeed two different things."
"I hope this further clarifies my position and if you need any more information or have any questions, I'd be happy to respond as a fly on the wall. Oh and Cindy, I am not in the hospital, I do work for captures, which is why I am posting anonymously, and time is always running out, though I doubt we have hit our peak yet."
These are Warren's words.
This is the posting made by the woman who conducted the audit:
I've been to this business, beware
I recently visited this location to audit them. I cannot go into any further detail, but was shocked at what I saw. I have been to thousands of businesses of all types over the past 6 years doing my job. I have never walked into such an unprofessionally run office. People are dressed terribly. The receptionist doesn't really look like she showered in the past few days. The offices are haphazardly thrown together. It looks more like a teenagers basement hangout than a business. I met the owner as well as several employees. Everyone was nice, but professionalism was just about last on their list. I can absolutely see this being a complete rip off of a company based on the impression that was left with me. If they owe anyone a lot of money, I would spend $200 on a plane ticket and go to the offices themselves and demand it back. The address can be found on google.
This is a discription from the Ex Employee:
Some cubicles were made out of broken plywood, garbage in peoples cubes, it was nasty and cramped, and they were clearing 400k in fees per month (new business, not just the recurring monthlies!) So you see the kind of people you're dealing with, just greedy. Sal, my manager, tricked me into watching gay porn, by taking me to a cellphonetracker website, which ended up being, instead of something that could locate my cell phone, two guys having graphic [***], right there in the office environment, while he was on a call with one of my clients! Said, 'I wanted to see if you were gay, he he.' (He hit the mute button while on the phone pitching my prospect, just to tell me to go to this site!) Many of the sales people would routinely do spanking/humping motions when the customer had entered into the electronic agreement with their credit cards, including Warren, the Sales Manager. Directly after quitting, I was denied commissions that I'd earned, and am currently formulating a civil suit against the company, which my present legal counsel informs me is a 'no-brainer,' and a 'total winner,' with a greedy - Certifiable replies to Nice TryOther information that the Ex Employee mentions about the websites that the sales reps take you to that are owned by the owners and employees, and why they do this:
"Let me also say this: Webmarketingsource.com is a vehicle to sell for getabag.com, jokersracing.com, jonesyswoodproducts.com. One of the main reasons these companies are used in the sales presentation is that they are owned by the owners and employees of WMS/Captures. Jonesy does payroll, people! All of these visitors/traffic to the sites that they show you, it largely because of the thousands of presentations that the sales floor does every day promoting these websites, not entirely because of technology that they peddle. That being said, any money that you give them could easily be spent on ensuring that THEIR sites are continually doing well, not yours. They have a vested interest in marketing their own sites, which is why there are only 3-5 sites in the presentation, theirs! Simply ask to see more sites, and the curtain is unveiled. Yeah, call Lorrie from getabag.com, I'm sure she'd be happy to help close you down on the sale! Sure, there's nothing in it for her, wink wink!!! What a joke. Or why don't you google some things you might buy on the internet, and take the first site that pops up, and run IT through the site analyzer to see how it could improve! Warren, when your manager tricks an employee into watching gay porn, and revoking commissions earned such that you violate State Wage Laws, you're gonna get bad reviews, and law suits. See you in court, buddies, and then we're gonna get the Seattle Times to write real reviews so that we don't have to rely on RipoffReport. Tick tock."

Here Warren explains why his satisfied customers have no interest in posting their commets, and why they would not take the time to look at these sites:
"It is frustrating to have to be on here and clarify with so much detail what I thought would be easy to understand, but I am glad to do it if it helps people see that we are not thugs and we strive for excellence rather than greed. I would love to see a post from one of our satisfied customers but I fear it won't come, as they have no reason to feel ripped off and come on here. You know we have over 5000 clients now and I just searched rip off report for the names of our three companies, all of which have their own purpose I'll remind everyone, and no more than 15 results come up for each, several of which are repeats. That just illustrates that we are a company that is getting bigger. Do you trust the Better Business Bureau? Look them up on rip off report, you'll find hundreds of entries about how they protect their paying BBB members from complaints against their businesses."
"We know the internet, and it is so easy in this digital age to strike whoever you wish with an unseen jab to the ribs, whether anonymous or named. I illustrated this in my last post in a brief paragraph where I said these words 'Now if what you've written previously is any indication of who you are, here is what I can discern about you. You are an exaggerator who makes broad generalizations based on your limited experiences."
So if he agrees that a satisfied customer would never post their comments on a site like this, or any other site like this, because they have no reason to, why should be believe that these people who claim to be satisfied customers are not employees of Captures.com. In reality these people are the real impostors, and exaggerators, who are making broad generalizations based on their limited faculties. I is obvious that they have put them selves in a position where they contradict them sleves, time and time again.
At the end of Warren's rebuttal, another comment is posted, stating that they are going to seek legal action against this Ex Employee. After that, there is another post made by someone who claims to be a satisfied customer, and they title that comment Taking Care of Customers. Sounds like the kind of title a employee would use. But you be the judge, here it is.
Taking Care of Customers
" have read the remarks in this forum and would like to inform those that have a problem with Web Marketing Source and Captures.com that I find their services very beneficial to our business.
Does every company make every customer happy. Sometimes no, but any type of reputable business tries their best. Show me one company out there that does not have an unhappy customer at one time or another.
You don't come on the internet and post your grievances, you deal with them directly business to business or employee to company.
Let me inform you there is no SEO company out there that can do miracles with your website. It's not all the SEO it must also be you as a site owner. It is up to you to ask questions before you buy.
We are indebted to Web Marketing.com and Captures for the direction in fixing issues within our site and applying a marketing package. If it wasn't for them our business would not have succeeded. I tried another company before them and wasted my time and money.
Thank You Web Marketing and Captures.com"
Isn't it interesting that this satisfied customer popped up at just the right time to come to their defense. And look, there is a mistake in the first sentence. They say they have a problem, instead of saying we have no problem. Could that be a suconscious blunder, I wonder? There are other mistakes as well. Also all these satisfied customers never post their name, phone#s, or URLs. What do you think?
