Got a message from John Taylor (number came up 866-852-2187). He said he needed to verify some information and to return the call. Never did - don't know who this is and I checked this site to see he's called others.
I will just block the number but wanted to add to the other comments.

I got a call from this number and they were collections people looking for someone I've never heard. Sat on hold for five minutes to be put on their do not call list.

These people were calling me for months and I thought it was a total scam so I never called back.  Turns out they are a collection agency.  I don't know why they are going about their business in such a ridiculous and suspicious way!

Non-profit received similar call to those listed above. Return call number: 866 852-2187 - did not call back, sounded like a prank.

These people have been calling my cell phone number stating in some way to call back asap because my name came across soemthing which i never understood the damn message because couldn't speak very good english!!  Stating that i needed to call before this was turned over to an attorney. I finally spoke to someone who also couldn't understand because of the accent and they would not give me any information but yet they called and left me messages on my cell.  Now today got another call stating to call the John Taylor.  I am so over this....this is a scam....they couldn't even tell me what i owed or who i owed no information at all and i know they are incorrect because i just paid off everything on my credit report and i just checked it today to make sure there was nothing new on it.  I want this place to get in trouble.  Attorney General needs to do something about this.

They called with no specific details asking to call John Taylor about a matter that has been given to their office.I have not recieved anything in writing and will not respond until I have more details.

My mother who is in a nursing home received a message on her cell phone stating that it is important for her to call John Taylor back at 866-852-2187 in regards to a important matter.  Why would would they be bothering an elderly lady.  I registered her cell phone number with the National Do Not Call Reistry.

Received a call from John Taylor, my file is on his desk I need to call him today. Did not ask for me by name or reference anything to identify me. Won't be calling him back.

The caller 1-866-852-2187 is Regents Asset Management. It is a collection agency that does not bother verifying it's phone numbers before it starts harassing people. They called me looking for a Gabriel Adam Moore and swore up and down that this was his number, well I've had this number 9 years and have never heard of him.

They continued to call me 16 times in one day until I finally faxed them a copy of the lease, a do not contact letter and a copy of the phone bill in my name to show that no such person was ever associated with this number.

The way that they harass people is criminal

LOL I called these guys from my call center.  They were like UH, UH we are a "call center" we are not interested. LOL back at them.

My 81-year-old Mother has received numerous calls from this number left on her answering machine.  Says to call John Taylor about urgent matter.  She finally called today to try and stop the calls.  John Taylor would not talk to her about the "urgent matter" until she provided him with the last four digits of her social security number, which hesitantly she did.  He then told her that she was being sued by Sears for a debt of over $1,000 dating back to 1991.  she has not had an account with Sears in over 40 years.

Got a call early this morning i answered but it was a machine saying this is Lisa and to call John Taylor. i also have had this number for 3 weeks. & i dont intend to call back...

just received a call from some guy named john taylor who stated that his "secretary" had been trying to reach me for several days. Never received any such calls. He stated that he needs to go over some information with me and i must get in contact with him as soon as possible. Was never asked for by name and he did not state who he worked for or what it was he wanted to talk to me about.

I also got a call from John Taylor who said I needed to call immediately once I got the message, saying his secretary had already tried calling me and that I needed to respond. The thing is, he didn't identify me by name and didn't say what he wanted. He said he needed to talk to me about "a file that was referred to his office." I have been getting calls from this or a similar number asking for someone I don't know and who I have told them repeatedly does not have this number.

yes it is US bank seems like a legit call. You may want to call back and ask them to verify the last 4 however it seems strange to me that the guy above said it was not him either.
