I got a call telling me to call the 866 number too. I was definitely a pre-recorded message. Man telling me he needed to talk to me about a file that just came to his attention. Said he'd be in the office all day today. I didn't call. Caller ID indicated call came from a land line in Chaska, Minnesota yet I was told to call an 866 number. Very fishy! Smacks of fraud!. I won't speak to the caller but someone needs to do something about all of these complaints!

Two calls,  first was a recorded message requesting a return call to John Taylor at the above mentioned 866 number. The second was a live phone call from a person stating her name was Mary Love requesting to settle an over due account with US Bank, stated she was with Regeng and she was working on behalf of US bank to collect over due amounts. I requested a call back number and was given 866-852-2187.

Do NOT give this "John Taylor" ANY information concerning yourself.  It is a SCAM!  They are phishing for information to trick you into paying for a NON-EXISTENT debt.

Ohhh....that's what they're calling about!! Thanks...I guess I probably SHOULD call them back about that.....Although obviously if I had the money to pay it off right now, it would allready be paid off....

got 2 calls in past couple of weeks from lisa and john taylor 866-852-2187. I,d like to put them on a list. BS calls came from 615 510 3041. ashland city tn.

This spam phone call has been received at my home at least 10 times.

John Taylor "called" and said that he was referred to us regarding a "file". We have no debt, no legal problems and have no idea how our phone call got stuck on his phone list. This is the second time we received this phone call. Seems like some sort of spam. A few years ago, we got calls from a woman who told us to call back a number. We got the calls for about 6 months and then it stopped, thank goodness!

I had the same experience as the rest a message from John Taylor....I think that tomorrow when I have more time I'm going to report this number. If in fact they are a collection agency they HAVE to say that somewhere in the message or it's against regulations. I sure am getting sick of this though!

4:00 pm  Recieved a call and let machine pick it up.......Was a message from a John Taylor claiming his secretary had been trying to reach me and had not heard back. Wanted me to call as soon as I got the message concerning a file on his desk....he reapeated the number 866-852-2187 three times, and asked to PLEASE call him back!
No mention of my name, or any actual info, sounded fishy, so i googled the name and number and found this site.

I received a bunch of calls from JOHN Taylor regarding my file. I owe zero on my credit cards. Someone said could be old accts from US Bank. Never had an acct with them. File a complaint on the. WWWW.DONOTCALL.GOV website, if you are already on the "Do Not Call" List.

I got the EXACT same message.  Thank you for posting this so that I don't call back!

Someone from this number has been calling us constantly for a couple of months. Finally they left a message and it is the unkown John Taylor with the same message others have reported, "call him urgently about a file that has come accross his desk". I can see that would be a waste of time, I will report him to AT&T for harrasing us.

Recieved the same phone call...did not return call...have no idea who these guys are.   thanks for the post at least i'm not the only one.

Smebody called today and Left a message sayig that I have to call John Taylor urgent at 866-852-2187. I think it is BS.

just got the pre-recorded call from John Taylor with 866-852-2187 call back number. not going to return the call obviously, but will report it asap.

Got a voice message to call John Taylor at 866-852-2187 regarding a file that had been referred to his office.  He said he had not heard from me but didn't even mention my name.

I did not call back!

I told them my situation they let me do hard ship payments of $150 a month for three months then at the end of the three months they wanted me to tell them how I planned to pay back the $9000 some dollars that started out as only a lil over $3000 I haven't returned their call, cause the guy I had talked to Zeak said when I told him I could possibly pay over two years on it he said yeah they don't like to draw it out that long.

Same "John Taylor" call as others mentioned.  Just moved, first day phone was connected---and under a pseudo name for security/safety issues.  Don't know how they got the number other than they just call randomly.  No issues with collection agencies.  I think they call, get information and then search credit reports to drum up business.  Would advise not getting sucked in to this---if you owe anyone, call them directly.

Same as everybody on this site. John Taylor wants to talk about a file and to call him at 866-852-2187.Got a similar call about 3 weeks ago on cell phone. I am also on the do not call list.Never got these kind of calls before I went on the do not call list.However 3 months after I went on it these things started coming in.Has to be a scam. My house is payed up , I do not owe one dime to anybody , car is paid for ,carry maybe a couple of hundred dollars on my credit card and pay it off every month.Have never hand an account with U.S. Bank. Also was contacted from a local bucket shop in Bradenton the call came from a robo dialer , but it traces back to these guys.

A recorded message was left on my answering machine to call John Taylor at 1-866-852-2187 to discuss a file that had come across his desk. The recording did not specify or refer to a particular name or the reason. The assertive request to call the number was given twice.  I will not call back. I don’t understand why these calls cannot be blocked.
