chase receivables - Collection Agency?
-I asked why using the name Chase? They agreed, they have nothing to do with Chase account !
-I told them I feel you are a scam, give me your address, they give us PO box, no valid address !
-Just talk about they will give us address and we can send the money there.
-I asked for web address, nothing !
-I told them, use your phone in internet and see what people are saying, so prove that you are not fraud and I will talk to you.
They dropped the phone.

This # has been calling on & off since Jan. this year, called about 3 times per my records.  I have been getting calls like this since I moved to NYC for 30 years; crazy people, telemarketing,  one time a guy started threatening me if I didn't tell my fellow union members to vote for a certain candidate.  Are we all on some sort of 'timid' list?  This looks like phishing; I do business with Chase and that isn't their #. I scanned all the pages; don't give out any info to them & report this to the your local consumer affairs dept. & let them do the tracking. Tell them:'I suspect this is a fraud, they keep calling, and Chase doesn't know anything about them.  I gave this # a contact name so I know not to answer:  'BO BO'

Well, they called again! I looked at my phone records, they've been calling without leaving any message since Sept. 2013, must have oil wells pumping, as they say.  Did I ever tell you about my first cell? Had to change the number because it belonged to some guy a lot of people were looking for.  Got furtive late night calls with salutations that would begin with, "Dog....! Where have you been?" and so forth.  Finally his mother called me, she was crying.  I said, "...sorry he's in witness protection now, please stop calling me." Too bad, the number was cool, had a lot of "8's" in it (supposed to be good luck) but I also got calls from a collection agency looking for some lady.  (Sorry I'm a guy since I last looked) This is what happens, the numbers are recycled,  not much the poor consumer can do.

I have been getting calls from this number for months and never answered until today. She identified herself as being from Chas receivables and wanted me to confirm my DOB and last 4 of my SS# in order to confirm my identity. I asked her what company supposedly put me into collections and she would not answer. She repeated that I needed to verify my identity and when I refused she said she would report to the company that put me into collections that I refused to pay and hung up.

They called again, and as I mentioned before they left no message.  It has gotten so I leave the phone on vibrate and leave it in the bathroom.  I believe,  from reading the other 800 Notes complaint pages that they are reading these comments & adding their own misleading comments such as, '...oh they were nice people and agreed to take my name off the list'.  No no no no, don't talk to them, don't give out any information,  call your local consumer affairs bureau, they keep up on this nonsense.  

Just recieved auto  call from 866 855 3970 saying it was chase. Then if you are listening you agree you are you. Then can reach a rep to call 914 840 2914.
I was curious I called the second number and it said sorry cant reach a rep to call the same number again.

This number 866 855 3970 called me again this morning at 7:58am. yesterday it was at 7:52am.
This is the third time this week someone from this number has called me, no message is ever left and caller id just says 800 service. Who are they?

They called me once i was trying to get more info they just wanted the money they are  very  umprhoffesional  i  probably own some money but i do not trust them to arrange any plan of payment

This is a scam, and yes this person must work for them since they asked for all sorts of personal info from me. This number called me so much I decided to answer and boy was that a mistake to answer the phone, Since then they call  10 -12 times a week and sometime 2 or 3 times in a day, AND I CANT STOP THEM

This must be a scam call after reading all the comments I can see this must be a scam type of company. I do not have any debts and do not have any medical bills but yet they call me quite often

They just called me. I recently filed bankruptcy chapter 7, due to my medical bills. However, the hospitals and doctors stay with the same collection agencies which made it easy to make payment arrangements while I was still able to work and pay a lot of them off. But as I became more and more ill with Crohn's I had to take a medical resignation. Right now I owe NO ONE! I have the best insurance. I included everyone and everything in my bankruptcy. Even if I didn't have a bill from the place, I added it to the list. When they called me, they couldn't figure out my name. I was remarried after being divorced for 10 years in 2013.  I already knew this was a scam, he asked if this was me, I asked who he was. I said I filed bankruptcy,  you have no right contacting me. He continued with my birthday,  I said you should already have that. He said this is a recorded call and under KY law, I said you should have all the information you need, unless you are fishing for more. I don't owe any money to anyone else, and he hung up on me. Yes, it is a scam! Real collection agencies already have the information they need on you, they all have ways to find out their information.

They said I had an outstanding debt but wouldn't tell me who it was for unless I gave them my birth date. I told them I wasn't giving out my birth date without more details. She said there was nothing she could do, thanked me and then hung up.

Damn.  I've received numerous calls from this number 1 866-855-3970 asking for my dob and i repeatedly said I'm not comfortable giving any information. They said they needed to verify it was me before they could disclose any information.  I finally said if its so important why don't u send me a letter. and out of frustration I gave them my address.  I completely regret it now.  Hopefully nothing will come of it but I'm super worried.
