hi moi i recieved the same type phone call the other day,  they wanted my brothers info. i did what you did and told them i would have him call you. i thought my brother was in trouble so i called him asap..as his bro i told him if he is trouble   tell me i can help.  he told me no.,,,    ???  they called me on my cell phone asking for my brother.  if its a scam who is the target?  how did they my phone no.?  AND MOST IMPORTANT, WHAT IS THE SCAM.    one more strange thing,,, the man who called me has my mothers maiden name.  ITS NOT A COMMON NAME.    i have never reported anything before, can you advise me.  thanks  john    6/25  900 pm.   they have my no,  so why not you. call me if you can help otherwise hope things work out for you. 215-450-3827

I have gotten a phone call from these people twice now. They call and ask for a person that i dont know.. Its really weird.... And i have noticed the number that i am getting on my Caller Id is different then the number everybody else has posted.. It's really weird.. I havent answered the numbers at all... im thinking maybe i should change my number... I was always looking on another site and this lady was having problems and the this law office said they she had 2 days to pay her debt, in the amnount of 480 dollars and that if she didnt pay it in 2 days they were gonna file and attach 1600$ in Lawyer fees.. Thats like not even right.. Im going to call the Bar Association, and try to figure out who these people are.. I did alot of research in the last 2 hours.. And i have found on numerous different sites like this.. 6 different people, had said that the The Law Office of Vincent C Cignarale, were a farm debt collection renting a NY Lawyers License. last time i checked you dont rent a lawyer license you go to school to get one. Now i havent answered the phone calls and choose not to call back... but the next time they call i will ask them what are the debts that they are referring too.. Dont except a letter from them cause they dont send them out. They other websites that i have looked the people also have stated that this "law firm" had sent them out letters and the people that the letters were being sent to never recieved them. Im getting a little tired of these debt collections calling me... Geeze we owe less then 300 dollars... They should not be harrassing me and my family...

Sounds like ure one of those reps that work for the office of "Mr. SIGNERALLI". It's like you got offended about the spelling and is posting a comment to pursuade consumers to fall for the BS that the people in Cignarale's office give out.

It doesn't matter how you spell it.. just google it and put the call back number for that office and you can get alot of information about Vincent P. Cignarale.

i have been receiving phone call from this law office. I received one today, and that mr. cignarele himself was on there being very rude and nasty. I have a legitiamte account with the creditors, but it's my ex-wifes account doing.this guy is a reall jerk and an idoit. I spoke with his so called secreary mrs. mcdaniels , and told her the situaution. she was kind of rude, and told me that i was my debt, and that i needed to step up and pay iy a.s.a.p.!!! I'll make payments to the original debtor, but not them. I am contacting n.y., and filing harassment papers against them.

Just got off the phone with the NY State Office of Attorney Grievance Committees.  I was informed that Vincent P. Cignarale is a legitimate lawyer in the Buffalo, NY area.  Lawyers there have been getting involved with debt collection.  I was instructed to do the following:
Go to the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) website.  There you will go to debt collection rules and practices.  You can get a cease and desist letter from there.

Write to the NY State Office of Attorney Grievance Committees.  The address is 438 Main St., 8th Floor, Buffalo, NY 14202.  Their number is 716-845-3630 if you would like more info.

I hope this helps.  The NY Attorney General is working now to stop him and others like him.  One was continuing to practice this from a jail cell.  This is so ridiculous! Please forward the information to as many as this will help.

these people are just debt collectors and no there is noting they can do... but do not id yourself... if it is in reference to a payday loan then they can not do anything.

You are all in debt, that's what you're all upset about it. Start paying your bills on time and stop making excuses on why you can not pay. People that smoke cigarettes...stop smoking and blowing money on cancer, use that money to pay your bills. i recived a call two weeks ago from span hall,the guy iv'e been dealing with and he threatend me with a sherrif coming to my house and serving me papers well span......im waiting ......im at home .....i even called my local sherrif and they dont know what im talking about ....i find this thing really ammusing. i dont see how these idiots are making any money at this.....i like too call them at all hours of the night and skrew with them its really funny how a supposed layer can get so bent out of shape on the phone.

If the agency decided to go forward with a court case, would it have to be filed in your county of residence so that you can be served, and given a chane to appear ? I have  gotten this call and its from new york and I live in oklahoma. I can't be expected to show up in new york for a court date right?

People listen up!! This has already happened to me BEFORE!!! This is a SCAM!!!!! DO NOT FALL FOR IT!!! Same thing happened to me months back, well I called local authorities, Sheriffs, and even the FBI!!! I have NOTHING in collections, but apparently these people think so, I have plenty of money and if I "did" have a debt I would pay it. What I did was called my attorney, told him I was being threatened with legal action, this person before actually left a voice mail on my cell saying I was going to be arrested!! YES this is the new SCAM!!! My attorney even knows about this with OTHERS!!! So I am NOT the only one!! My attorney called this guy back (this was the first time it happened) and he asked for any info to be emailed to him, he did this ONLY to track his email.....guess what dude didn't send nothing!!! So he couldn't track the email....BUT!!!! He did track the phone number and funny as it is....it was listed as out in the WOODS???!!! I am not kidding folks!!! Keep yr Christmas cash and tell em to F**K off!!! They CANNOT arrest you for a collection!!! TRUST ME!!!

I got a call from this place today and had no clue what it was about but they told me that if I didn't set up some type of arrangment right now (while I was at work) that I was going to be in court. I asked them questions about the debt how much it was etc.... The debt was of course cheaper than hiring an attorney. So I said I do not know what this is about but I will set up an arrangement if it means not going to jail for theft by deception, fraud, etc.... I did this and after I got off the phone decided to research this co. and found this board. I called them back and was trying to get more information about the orginal so called debt. They would barely give me anything only the name of the company and some supposed acct number. I tried to reach the company and the phone number was no good. So I decided to speak with the law office again they said the only way they could show me any proof was if we went to court. Well apparently the one lady I talked to decided to pull my file and try to send me back to court even though I had set up arrangements. So I asked to talk to the attorney (who knows if it was him or not). He said oh well since you had such a bad experience with this co we will knock if down to $500 I asked how much the original supposed loan was for and he said $725 I told him I researched this company and their site says they only give up to $500. Then he told me they didn't even have the documents I had been requesting to prove that I took this loan out. So I said ok and he said he would even make it so I could pay only $100 a month. Better than what they suggested before but now I was becoming skeptical. So called my mom and told her and she told me to get to the bank and cancel my card which I did. The bank said these places use scare tactics like theft and fraud charges but it is not legal. They just want money. He also said that by the date they said I took out the loan for my state statue of limitations was already up. So they can't do anything. Not to mention they can't give me any proof that I took this loan and I know I didn't. So just remember to also check your states statue of limitations on debt. These people want money for nothing and it's ridiculous. I am a mother and don't have money to just give away because they say I should.

I am having money taken out of my account to pay this old pay day loan.. I do owe it but when I called the lawyer office 716-961-430 x227 they say the number is disconnected.. and the office number is always busy 1-877-291-3759.. I think they are taking the money and not paying my debt off.. and there is no such company as Northern Resolutions Group.. I have stopped the money from coming out of my account.. this is just too weird..  I really don't see how they are allowed to do this..
