I have gotten several calls from Vincent P.  Whatever, The first time he called he gave inaccurate information.  The second time they called, they discovered that my home phone wasn't working so they called me on my cell phone.  I didn't answer because by this time I discovered that they were a debt collection agency fronting as an attorney's office.  They called this morning and I proceeded to ask the young man on the line if this office was really a debt collection agency or an attorney's office-- He got livid. I told him to mail me valid information confirming the validity of their agency and the validity of this debt. He said that no he would not. I continued to challenge him and he then claimed that they had sent me letters in the past to my address that I never got and then he asked if I had gotten an official letter that they so called e-mailed me. Are you supposed to get "Official" letters via e-mail?

I received a call also almost an hour ago. I don't know what to do though. Could you call me so we can discuss what this is all about 404-464-3224 or 770-960-4709

Got a another call with recorded message about my friend.  "Press 1 if you have any info."

I pressed one and got a woman.  Told her I keep getting phone calls about my friend.  She asked if I had contact info that I could give them.  I said no but that I passed along the message.  She said that my friend had a summons coming up and they needed to give her the date.  I asked if I could pass along the info and she said unfortunately they had to give the date directly to her.  I said that I didn’t know how they got this number but it is not her number and I would appreciate them not calling anymore.  They said they got the number directly from my friend and she needed to call them.  I said that my friend told me she didn’t even know who this lawyer was.  She said that my friend must be playing games with me because she gave them my number.  I said that I googled this number and that they were all over the internet as shady.  The lady said if I wanted to google them then that was stupid because there are all kinds of sites with lawyers names that you can’t trust.  She said that there would be police coming to my friend’s house and that they would just have to handle it this way.  I said, “That’s fine.”  Then she hung up on me.  
I think it's very interesting that all these calls have happened in the past 30 days.  I also find it interesting that they have MY phone number.  How the F did they get MY number!/?  I have never even lived with this friend and had my number changed only 2 years ago.  Since then my friend and I haven't even lived in the same state!  I will continue to post follow up on what happens in hopes of sparing some of the rest of you the mystery.

yeah i have also told them the same thing and i guess they are really a collection agency for pay day loans things in that such matter. so i made the payment arrangements and i just want this ish to be over and done with.

I have just recieved the same type of call from this So Called lawyer. It was for my brother. I asked how they got my phone number and the lady stated that I was used as a reference to something. When i tried to inquire further she told me it was against the law to give me anyinformation. Well heck she had my phone number i dont know if she had my name also but if my name and number was on this "file" why could she not give me information. From the research that i am doing it does look like this is a scam starting. Again it is weird that these postings about calls all happened with in the last 30 days

it sound like i shouldn't be dealing with these people. please let me know if this is a scam. i talked to a supervisor who said that the head attorney will be suing the company or website that is claiming that they are scammers. i sure hope that someone can get in contact with me about this. they said that they mailed out a letter on the 15th but i never received anything from them.

Have also received three phone calls from this number.  I have excellent credit, no overdue debts and recently ran a credit report - so it is definitely bogus.  Have had recorded messages and live people leaving a voicemail.  As someone also pointed out, all have been within the last 30 days.

From 866-878-5796/ got across a file on his desk in which it had my name. Mr Johns asked to give him a call immediately because the case was in pending to action. The file was forward for his review he stated. The office of Vincent and Louis.

Repeated calls harassing our family when the person (Lisa ???) has not had this phone number for over 3 years. I am sick and tired of these [***] calling. Apparently they are too cheap to buy a phone book.

I received a call from Vincent P. Cignarale, but ignored it. Then, my girlfriend called me and his conartist reps left a message on her voicemail!! I have experienced this once before, so I knew NOT TO RETURN THE CALL. This is an acceptance of the debt. I searched the web and found nothing, until I found this site. Thank you to all of you who posted comments. It really helps when you speak out against this type of fraud. I received a call from a similar debtor who couldn't really give me any information, however, he insisted there was a "civil warrant" out for my arrest. I contacted the local fraud authorities, then filed a complaint with the FTC (Federal Trade Commission). I suggest each of you do the following!! www.ftc.gov  They responded in a couple of days that my complaint was filed and recorded. Just want to cover all my bases. I will do the same with this scam artist!! I am due to have a baby any day now and there should be consequences for people pulling this crap and elevating my blood pressure!!!

My friend has been getting calls from this number leaving a message for me. I have never gotten any letters from this Cignorelli. He has never called my home number either. I looked up the number and here I see all of these posts regarding them. I knew things just didn't sound right! It sounds like they are scaming people. They need to be stopped!

Hey Mike, I know you, but you prob dont remember me (used to work there).  But yah your right, they owe the bills so they need to pay the bills.  this website is so hilarious!

Actually, what's hilarious are shady debt collectors filing false reports on 800notes. If this particular debt collector's operation was on the level, they wouldn't have to stoop to posting sham reports here.

Got a call 2 days in a row, also 2 relatives got calls to give me messages reagarding a "legal matter"
I called back today and spoke to a "terry greene" and before I read this I have set up payemnts to sent via western union to pay off a debt I think I have paid, but they convinced me I did not, say they will serve me with papers to appear in court if I do not make the first payment by the 7th of december.
Have I made a mistake agreeing to make a payment arrangement with these people??

I just received a call from my husband saying they called him stating that I was going to be arrested for some payday loan I have not paid. He gave me the # and all the info and I called and talked to Rashad and asked him what this Docket # was. He said it was none of my business and he would get the money from me and hung up. I called back and talked to an operator and she would not give me their address. She said that I could talk to Cignarale himself. We argued back and forth a few minutes until I told her OK put him on. When a man came on the phone I could hear all the phones and people talking in the background. He said he was Mr. Cignarale. He was giving me information that was half right. I asked him about the docket # and he said that was just their filing system #. He also said that he would send something in the mail to me.

My father has been recieving calls from the Law Office of Vincent P Cignerla for the past couple of days asking for me. I finally got the number and spoke to a lady named Terry Green. She told me that I owed 420.00 for some bogus claim from back in 2005. I stated to her she was full of !@#$ becuase in 2005 I was oversea's fighting for our country. I told her to take a hike. I than found out not three hours later that they called another friend of mine that I work with ans said the say thing. BIG BIG BIG SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!
