Do you really think your caller will 1, come to a phone number look-up site and see your post and 2, actually know WHICH Louise to stop calling? Just block and ignore their calls.

Guys it's Legit, they ask for either birthday or postal code, then ask if it is you if not hang up. They then tell you the reason of the call which is for overdue payments. In 12yrs this is my 1st call my due date was Aug 1/19 but pay day was Aug 2/19.1 day past due, they even tell you how much money is owed and how you are going to pay.

Botton line is pay your monthly bill and they won't call you.

I received a call from this number but sent it to voicemail. Checked it out here and saw it was 50/50 scam vs. legit RBC number. I called RBC through a separate number that I knew was for sure connected to them, and they confirmed that it was a branch of RBC and it was collections for an account that I closed a month ago so couldn't see that interest charges had come in. I agree with what many others have said though, RBC in general gives you the run around and their customer service reps often don't know actual policies and procedures/what other departments do, so I'm not surprised some people are being told by the bank directly that it is a scam.

My husband just got an automated call from 877-214-5948 claiming to be RBC. It asked him to verify his birthday or postal code in order to receive an important message. He thought it sounded fishy, so he hung up.

He called the phone number on the back of his client card, and they confirmed it was from their collections department - he had a 15 cent balance on his RBC Visa that he forgot to pay.

This number doesn't appear on their website, but it's 100% legit. If you're still not certain, call the number on the back of your client card and ask to speak to an attendant - tell them you received a call from 877-214-5948 and they'll be able to help you out (and stop the calls!)

This number is not from RBC as i just got off the phone with them . This is a automated scam call that instructs you to give away some personal info . Block the number and report it to RBC . In Canada 1 800 769 2511. or just pop into your banking branch and they will gladly help you

this number has call no stop for days wanting to speak to one or the other of us. I called it back and it went to RBC but when I call the number on the back of the card they say it was not them. Sick of this caller
