- Chelle replies to peace makerWhen this company calls I pick up the phone and leave it off the hook for a couple minutes just for laughs. Peace Maker, you gonna pay all our hospital bills? You here to help us? No? Then shut the hell up and get back to on the phone, phone slave.
- harassed and debt freeApparently you were not aware, "Peace Maker", "gon" is not a word. You might want to update your spellcheck.

- Really... replies to peace makerI don't owe a bill so what is your other GREAT advice
- Rid| 1 replyHow do I get them to stop calling? I am debt free and yet they call several times a day... I want to report it I just don't know who to report it to.
- interestingI have talked to this company several times and I am completely debt free. Every time they call they say I owe a different amount than the day before when I talked to them. I now have received 7 different amounts that i 'owe'. They also have no account numbers and they said their hours were 12-8 Monday-Thursday... Then how are they calling me at 9:30 on a Thursday. These guys are a complete SCAM and I wouldn't give them any information!

- DrewIt's easy to get them to stop calling.
If you're the person they are looking for either
1) pay your bill
2) Send a letter to them requesting a CAD or cease and desist. They will typically at this point return the account to the orginal creditor.
To the person stating you can't have your wages garnished is WRONG. If you owe a hospital money and they file suit and get a judement and you don't start paying they can file a request for garnishment with the courts (except in Texas). The best thing to do is set up some type of payment plan and be done with it.
I work in collections and have for years No one should be rude although not giving you info on purpose of the call until they verify who they are seaking with this the LAW. - amb426I don't owe any medical bills whatsoever and, therefore, I don't know why this number is calling my phone. However, I have NEVER answered this number to find out either. If you don't want to be harassed by people, then don't answer or simply hang up. Simple as that and you will avoid these ridiculous phone calls forever. Use your brain guys!

- OMG!These people are relentless. We do owe money for hospital bills, and we send in payments regularly, a LOT of money every month, but they keep harrassing us.
Like someone else on here, I too have a heart problem. The stress of dealing with these hateful bill collectors only makes my heart worse. I am stressed out to the point of wanting to change my phone number or just f'ing kill myself.
How can I make them just send me bills by mail??? I want to pay off all my bills, but I can't stand them calling me all day long every day of the week!- Caller: Valarity LLC

- HRC2006 replies to peace makerWhy so hurt full? You shouldn't just badger people on here, if you can't give helpful advise, maybe you should just keep thoughts to yourself.

- HelloUnless they can verify your info they cannot garnish wages or financial institutions. So if your really worried don't pick up the phone. Many of us have call blocker on our land lines and cell phones we don't know about with our carriers call and ask how to access it. Put these numbers on the block list and forget about it!
If your extremely worried get a "prepaid" debit card from places like netspend, walmart out hr block and have your pay deposited there instead of am FDIC bank. They cannot touch those.. To be garnished a court order has to be filed / completed so just keep track of that if you know how to in your state..- Caller: xy
- gs replies to Sheila R.| 14 repliesThese people buy numbers of people who owe loans, etc. They all have an Indian accent. I was scammed for $3250.00 until one day I rec'd 3 calls. different numbers, same bill. Contacted our PA who stated they are scammers and they can't reach them to do anything bc they aren't in the US. They have prepaid cell phones, threaten, harass, terrify you. Then, I ck'd and not a single bill was paid. If you tell them they are being recorded so that you can take the conversation to the sheriff, etc they stop.

- smoThey're claiming that I owe money to the hospital but when I call the hospital I have no outstanding accounts with them. Seems scamy. They called again and I asked for dates of service and account numbers and they gave me some. Upon contacting the hospital directly again these were also incorrect. Do not give these people any information, deal with your creditors directly.

- interesting?!?!I received a call from this number, but no one was there. I called the number back and was advised it was a collection on an $11.07 bill that was owed to St. Johns' Hospital. I advised the rep that I had paid this bill using my medical reimbursement card and pulled up the online statement to verify that it had been paid. I asked them to contact the hospital to verify. They refused.
Then, I asked them to send me an itemized statement of the alleged bill. She told me to contact the hospital if I wanted that. Once again tried to explain that I had proof I had paid the bill. The rep told me to have the hospital contact them if I wanted it taken care of. I demanded a supervisor and was told that he had just stepped out. I rather rudely explained to the rep that if he did not call me back that night, I would contact my attorney and the BBB, Attorney General, etc, in the morning.
Christopher Patterson, the supervisor, called me back and took all of the information regarding the payment and said that they would contact the hospital to confirm.
I understand that they are doing their job, but there is no reason to treat people like they are deadbeats!- Caller: Valarity
