- McMom# has called my phone several times. Valerity may be a collection agency, but that does not mean that a scammer is not the one calling. They could be using the app to change there number to whatever number they want ( I have had calls from my own phone number), then portray themselves as this collection agency just to get you confirm your date of birth and other personal info. The best thing to do is call the collection agency yourself to see if you owe anything.
- BK replies to TmThank you. I have a misc, outstanding $14 bill with St Anthony's I never even knew about. I've never been billed by the Drs office or sent any kind of invoice. This place has been calling demanding payment for a bill I didn't know I had and they won't or can't verify by sending the original invoice. You're comment will help me in filing with the BBB. Godspeed.
- LaneyMercy St Vincent’s clinics said I owed them and if I did t pay they’d send me to collections. I told them that my insurance had not been billed yet by them and I would pay my portion when I got my statement of benefits. When I did the amount was much lower. We contacted Mercy St Vincent’s in MO and they agreed. The bill was paid. A week later we got a refund check for overpayment to them of around $20. So, not only did we get regular harassing calls from the medical clinic and their corporate office’s billing Dept for money we didn’t even owe yet but when we did pay the bill we got a refund from them. Now I am receiving daily calls from valarity for an unpaid debt because mercy st Vincent’s sent me to collections anyway. When you call them they just don’t fix it and these people calling won’t stop anyway. I live in a small town and am ready to make hours drive just to go to a clinic not associated with them.

- Rose| 1 replyWe're in the middle of a public health crisis and they're still calling to collect on medical bills right now. What in the heck. That's extremely insensitive to all of the people who have lost their jobs right now.

- JG| 1 replyI answered the call to a man identifying himself from Simple Solutions, saying he was returning my call? I said I never called a place called Simple Solutions and hung up. Then I started getting calls from this number repeatedly. Looking back at my call log, I see they tried to get through once 3 weeks ago. Then once last week. My mistake of picking up told their robocall I was a viable number and now I am plagued with their calls. If they are trying to convince my I owe debt, as many state here, I do not. It's a scam!

Another rumor/urban myth believer. Plus I see that a solution to your problem has already been posted. Did you read it?Quote:My mistake of picking up told their robocall I was a viable number and now I am plagued with their calls. - NormaI have an outstanding hospital bill local to St. Louis. I am making payments to the hospital directly but unfortunately the Collection co. is still trying to collect. I have their calls blocked! I have spoken with them and told them not to call me as I was paying the hospital directly.

- Aangel BThey bought out old debts from hospital or doctors offices and are going to try collect on them... They will do harrassing phone calls to get people to pay... They will have you account numbers for these bills and all your information... Never verify that it is you, your SS#, give them nothing... Not even if they threaten to have you arrested... ( You can not be arrested for outstanding medical bills) .... If you for whatever reason have to talk to them... Tell them that they already have your information send you a copy of the bill with the account number.. If they say they have to verify contact information ... Tell them they should already have it since they have been harrassing you...
Now I am getting harrassing phone calls by this number for medical bills ... Not happening asshats... You got my number... Then you have my other info...

- Jas| 1 replyThis number is a lawyers office. They do collections for hospitals such as Mercy. Block the number, they have a limited amount of numbers that they can call you on. You have the right to deal with the original creditor, no matter what they say. You have to inform them in writing to make all contact to cease and desist. Caller ID shows Account Services.
