Amazing how stupid these jerks think we are....even sent to addressed to my father who has been retired for 20 years!!

Been recving faxs for months 1st from Candian Equity Partners then from Toronto Equity Advisors. Just wont stop.

These thieves just don't give up. They are what they are, crooks. You have no way to stop their faxes either. If you call the number to "remove" your fax number, you just verified to them that their spam did indeed reach your fax machine. And guess what comes next, they sell your fax number to other scammers. Then the cycle continues. These crooks are smart enough to operate from (supposedly) another country so they cannot be stopped by any US regulatory agency. NEVER RESPOND TO THESE JUNK FAXES!! You unfortunately have no option that will work for you here but to throw the fax into the recycle bin and ignore it.

I called the phone number at the bottom of the faxed letter - 888 635-4527 - to be removed from their scam email list, but it is a non-working phone number.

We also received this fax, similar to Paul.  Harvey Marcus wondering "...why, with an opportunity to sell your company for millions of dollars,...." Funny thing is that our company was sold 3 years ago...

Receiving MANY unwanted faxes from Harvey at Toronto Equity Advisors.  They want to buy our non profit for big bucks - scam!

My faxed letter came from Steven Blum, also the Senior Vice President of Toronto Equity Advisors (a non-existant company). The terms of the purchace include a request for me to send them $22,000 as a retainer, then they will hook me up with this fictional buyer. Sure..... They do not publish an address. They did list a phone number 613-236-4790. The lady answering the phone said "Executive Office". When I asked her what the firm's name was she bumbled then said Wall Street Equity Group. It does not exist either.

We just received the same fax from Senior Vice President Harlan Tunnelston.

So weird!  I too just received a fax from the Honorable Harlan Tunnelston of Cross-Borders Advisors.  As it turns out, just this morning they were discussing my company, and they have a buyer located in the Midwest with $500 M in committed capital and a keen focus on my industry.  He wants to set up a conference call with his Chairman, who interesting enough is an expert in my industry.

They want me to call 613-236-4790 to set up that call, during which they will give me a good indication on purchase price with no obligation on my part or theirs.  It is likely they will be waiting a very very long time for that call.

BTW you can tell a mail merge when you see one - the company name ends in "Inc." as I am sure many do.  Unfortunately they inserted the company name just at the end of 3 sentences so the last line of each paragraph ends in "Inc.."  If there was a true buyer don't you think they could just take the 5 minutes to type up a custom short letter?

So, I received a fax from 'Wall Street Equity Group', with their 'Worldwide Headquarters' being in Pompano Beach, FL. (Fax from 877-342-4169).  Signed by Steven Blum, Senior Vice President.

They apparently have a company that they want us to acquire from them.... wonder how much THAT will cost!

For us, these junk/scam/faxes started June 2010 and have continued several times a week! They are like virus that mutate and evolve. Even one said "I know you receive many letters from people claiming to have a buyer for your company". Duh! That's because these letters are sent by the same people.

Here are the various names and numbers that they have used. If you see any of these, you can safely toss the fax away. If you have eFax or other electronic fax services - NO wasted paper - EASY to delete with one click!

Received similar fax from Ian O'Brian, Senior VP of Toronto Equity Advisors saying "We just don't understand why, with an opportunity to sell your company for millions of dollars..." Was told to call 613-236-4790. I almost called until I saw this website.
