Got a fax from them this morning.  877-342-4169 was printed across the top of the page; called the number back & removed our fax number from their list.  Let's see if it works...

Keep receiving unwanted faxes from this group.  Canadian-American Equity Group, showing Jack Shepperd as Vice-President.  Message was to call to acquire one of my competitors at another business.

Yeah, add "Adam Beasley, Vice-President" working for "Canadian-American Equity Group" to the list of d-bags that use this number.

Toronto Equity Advisors (fax # 877-347-4169) and Canadian - American Equity Group (fax # 877-347-4169) and a number of seemingly Canadian firms have been sending faxes from the same fax #.  Seems they change Senior Vice Presidents quite frequently.  I'm now receiving stuff from Smith Wasserman, Senior Vice President (Toronto Equity Advisors); and, I must have been bumped down the food chain to a Vice Preisdent at Canadian -American because Adam Beasley (only a Vice President) sent the last fax from that group.

I think we're all correct, it's a SCAM.

You'd think they would at least use a proof reader before sending out their scumbag pitch letter.

We received a fax from Wall Street North; the person used the name Bradford Spanner, Senior Vice-President, stating they had a purchaser.

We received our first fax from Toronto Equity Advisors this morning. For the many good folks who contibuted to this website I express my appreciaton and thanks for stopping us from making fools of ourselves by responding to these cons.

Well, looks like all the Senior Vice Presidents have been fired because we just received the same fax from Toronto Equity Advisors signed by Ian O'Brian, Senior Vice President.  It also starts out addressed to "Dear Mr." but ends by calling our president by his first name.

Please remove my name from all sollicitation lists.

Add "Wall Street North America" and "Thomas Parker" to the list of scam people/countries. Just got a junk fax from 877-342-4169.

Received an unwanted fax from this hoax today- after reading these comments will not call or communicate with them whatsoever.

Does anyone know what the scam is? Anyone call them?  Just curious... I just got the fax today and was wondering what the sam was.

Ian O'Brien has been hounding us for months, reminding us we have prime property - since we are the largest research park in North America - a non profit, like trying to sell the White House

The scam is as follows. They want to set up an appraiser to come to your business for a mere 20-40 thousand dollars, and when your business sells, you get the money back. Problem is that they are long gone and the "appraiser" you paid for will never show up.

Lots of company names lots of Vice-Presidents lots of telephone numbers but all the from the same fax number.  Called the bottom of the form to be removed from the fax list.  So far have not received one in a few weeks.

We received a fax from Ian O'Brian as well.  When I called 613-236-4790 the reception asked about Sales & Net profit, wanted the details before they gave me the "Buyers" name.  She then directed me to www.wallstreetmergers.com which is a front for Wall Street Equity Group out of Pompano Beach, FL.  Better business bureau rates as a "C" and is not accredited.

received stupid fax from Toronto Equity Advisors wanting to BUY the YMCA.  I guess I don't need to explain why this is stupid.

We get these all the time from various names.   It is amazing that they keep getting enough marks to be able to keep going.   There are many variations and even most of the real ones are just wastes of money and time.

Have recieved faxes from these scam artists for almost a year now.scare sales tactics,uniformed form letter type fishing.what a bunch of horse crud.
