they should be required to state who they are and the account they are "SUPPOSEDLY" collecting for. i have an answering machine on my home and voice mail on my cell. if i dont know the number and there is no identity in the message i do not care and do not answer or call back. i also resent that they can leave a message on the machine stating "if you are not this person, hang up). my machine doesnt understand!

They keep calling my cell phone, probably some old debt that they are trying to collect, they will not get any money from me. I tried contacting an attorney to file a case against them, but the attorney said that I did not have enough evidence for a case. I sent them all the information that they sent me, plus all the correspondence from & to them plus a listing of all the times they called me and nothing happened. I also filed a complaint with the BBB & FTC and still nothing. Once I even filed a complaint with the Attorney Registration & Disciplinary Board in my state and still again nothing happened. Maybe the only way to stop these people is a class action law suit. Don't know how people are suing them & winning money. I don't answer the phone when I don't recognize the number, they have been calling for years and passing the debt on from one company to the next. The name is ER Solutions, a scum of a company.

I think every Oct. or Nov. the collection companies put old debts on the auction block... those that are 7 plus years old. and buy them from each other for pennies on the dollar. it seems every year they go bonkers in Nov and Dec on calling, Jan. not so much. then bam in Feb, Mar and April (thinking they will get tax return dollars). I pay $5.00 a month for a cell phone that I had my former number forwarded to after it was disconnected, and forwarded all my mail to a PO box about 15 years ago after my divorce. I turn on the phone once in a while a google an few numbers and chuckle. Will tell you it is worth it not to have to deal with these nutty people.

They called me this morning I called back and they only put me on hold at the end it goes to Voice Mail and is called ER Solutions.

for days now my cell rings only one time and then the call shows up as "missed call" - when i call back i get a recording to hold, but then when no one comes on i get another recording to leave a message - then i get another recording that says i can't because the mailbox is full - i am sick of it!!

Had a judgement on me several years ago pertaining to a credit card fraud issue the judgement  took place out of state and I was never notified  it has been sold several times and threats to take everything I own are mentioned. Live in Florida and not sure what they can do. Get numerous calls a week from this number

Convergent Outsourcing , yet another collection agency !!!  Call your place of bussiness and or afterhours , File a report with Federal Trade Commission online ( its really easy) Report will be entered into Consumer Sentinel world wide and it will be available to any civil and or criminal law enforcement agency .

Need to stop this crap

Has anyone considered that these companies actually sell call blocking services?  Also it is a computer doing all the calling... it costs more money to have your number removed from the calling list than it does to let the computer annoy you.  This activity should be punishable by death squad.

These people constantly call my cell.  The number no longer belongs to the person they are calling.

I have no outstanding debt that has a late payment or warrants a collection agency calling.  
It is wasting cell units to answer and is a nuisance call.

Call Blocking is the greatest and this number has been added to my list.  It's from "MetroGuard," a home security company.  Below-me, [***].
