I got a couple of calls from this number regarding Traffic Violations from Court, funny thing is that I wasn't even the person they were looking for, so they hung up on me.

no specific message.  the caller says it is an important business message.  they keep calling, and I return the call, and get put on hold.  if it is actually an important message for me, I would prefer to be e-mailed, rather than be put on hold.   my email is pdmanning67@gmail.com

I have gotten these calls a few times now. I just called them back Saturday February 16 . I got a guy. I told him I missed the call and thought he was the phone sex people, I asked him if he was going to $uck my pen!s,he got upset and asked me if Iwas __ I said no and he hung up. I am going to back in a few minutes. I hope I get  a women this time .I am going to torment her to no end. As I said they have called numerous times with no one there. So it is only fair I keep calling them back until they stop calling .

They called and left no message. I gladly returned their call and Nicole was very helpful and gave me their fax # 858-712-6682 so I could send them a C&D order. I sent the order a few minutes later and hope to never hear from them again.

This is such a scam . All these people want is your money. Don't give them any of your info.

Just called this number and explained that I'd only had my phone # for a few weeks and also that I don't owe anyone money, and they (supposedly) took it off the calling list.  Time will tell.

Got several calls today from this #.  It shows up as CA State on my caller ID.  I live in NY.  WTH?

Or they have a wrong #.  Or the records are outdated.  Or they misdialed.  Etc.

They violated the C&D order I faxed to them on 7/31/13 this AM @ 8:25. I added the info to the original C&D order and said I would contact the AG's office. And I will do that. These people are not to be trusted.

As far as I know, if you are not the person whom the agency is trying to reach, you are under no obligation to return their call or even answer.
Report them, let the govt go after them.  
I made the mistake before of trying to explain to collection agencies that I am not the one they are trying to reach.  
They don't care, they don't listen, they don't stop calling.
Report them.

They are real.  Its a collection agency that deals with amongst other things unpaid traffic fines.  I know because florida sent my ticket to them and I was able to verify throughflorida dmv.

Thanks everyone for putting all your posts with all the info, my husband get a call on his cell asking for me about a traffic court in San Diego I havent even been there and why would they call my husband cell asking for me when I have my own cell? I told husband probably a scam.

If its traffic court wouldnt the courts sent us anything thru mail

This number has been calling our busines incessently for the last two to three weeks, multiple times a day. When we answer the phone, the caller hangs up.

Just called alliance one after they called me this morning and talked to one of the cs reps and she asked for my name and address and could not find anything in there computer relating to me. Then asked if I ever heard of the company. i said no I did not. She told me it must have been a miss dial and apologised and hung up. So who knows?

Just rec'd a call, rang 3 times, when I answered no one was there,  Did a Google search & found it was Alliance One.....
So. I called 'em back & spoke w/Marina.......she checked - couldn't find where I'd been called & asked if I wanted my number removed.  I said yes, please & thank you very much.  

Is this a legitimate company? They have information of tax refunds then claim to intercept the funds to pay a bill that is due to another agency. How can traffic violations be pain from FTB tax refunds? The traffic violation they claim is also fake.
