- Cynthia replies to Cynthiathat is paid. not pain, although it is a pain dealing with this company.
- Spikethey keep calling me...I have blocked calls but keep calling under different numbers. I have no traffic violations, I am not past due on anything.
- Benitoreceived call from this number, woman with latina accent wanted to speak with Ricardo Calderone. I told her she had the wrong number, she apologized and hung up. I am on the "do not call list" which is a pathetic waste of time-- has not stopped the mountains of calls.

- terry wheeler| 1 replyhave been called by this number of times saying i have a traffic citation in orange county for red light violation

- DesertTurtle replies to terry wheelerI just received a call from this number, & the caller left a message. (Shock!) In a speedy voice the caller stated her name, & after numerous replays it sounded like Wendy Berg/Burg/Bird? & "to please call back 877-541-8420." Uh, I don't think so! But like usual I got on 800notes to check this out. So I see she is with Alliance One collection agency. I make a late payment here or there, but nothing to be turned over to collections. But on a simple search of this number, one of the top links in google search was a link to the San Diego County/Superior Court of CA & this number was highlighted.

If you receive a traffic violation in San Diego County & perhaps other counties in CA & don't pay your fine timely, this is who is set up to do collections for the State:
AllianceOne
6160 Mission Gorge Road
Suite 300
San Diego, CA 92120
Phone: (877) 541-8420
This tells me that if my longtime landline phone is being contacted, These collection agencies use skip tracing to locate anyone remotely connected like old roommates, or related to the person they are searching for. Perhaps the number given at the time of issuance is disconnected or owned by someone else now. Then my old home phone number will pop up in a skip trace search. They will call every number on there to find who they are searching for to collect a debt. What a PITA! I am not going to call these people. I just blocked the number. - annoyedJust received two calls within a minute apart. Woman left a message "hi my name is loni lane if you can give us a call back at 877-541-8420" and that's it. Ten days ago same woman left the same message. I read the post above from "DesertTurtle" and my only concern is why would they be calling me if I don't live anywhere near California, never have!! Does anyone know if this is one of those calls where they try to scam people for their money!!!

- Nesha| 1 replyI received a traffic citation in Walnut Creek Superior Court and I requested a payment plan and have to pay it to Alliance 1. Mine is a legitimate call. I don't get a lot of calls from them.
- Caller: Alliance 1
- Call type: Debt collector
- CelticDragon replies to NeshaActually, no it is NOT a legit call-if they wanted to do that, they would send it BY MAIL, not by phone, not by fax, not by email. The number may have been spoofed to look like it was from there: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caller_ID_spoofing
- Tom in phoenixI've gotten several calls from these people in recent weeks. the phone is new and they're never for me. I don't know whether to complain to my phone carrier about it -- is it up to *us* to track these things down? even though this is a new cell phone I did report to the Do Not Call Registry 2 months ago and that hasn't done anything.
I actually get more calls from these junk people then I get calls that are legitimate. I usually just put them on my block list and forget about it, but I'm getting really sick of this.
thanks to the gentleman who put the San Diego a ddress up, I agree that somebody ought to pay them a visit. maybe a bunch of us ought to arrange a day and a time and go pay them a visit.- Call type: Telemarketer
- JohnThe message simply states, "Hello, this is Edgar Martinez, please call me back at 1877-541-8420" He didn't state his agency or reason for calling.
- Caller: assuming Alliance
- Fed UpCalled from 877 number, said a name and asked for return call. No other identification, or for whom the call was intended.
- Caller: TOLL FREE CALL
- Naomi"This is Roberto Dela (spelling) please call us at ..." I have been receiving calls from this number and I have NOTHING in collections. Not sure who these people are or why they're calling me, but it needs to stop!
- Caller: No name given
- ConfusedReceived a call from this number today on more than one of my phone lines. I have no idea how they got my numbers, which are both unpublished. No message on one line, the only message on the other was some guy's name and to call back but no company name stated or reason for the call was stated which seems rather shady and no message about if this call wasn't meant for me yada yada like other posters. I have no outstanding traffic violations or parking tickets. Seems like some weird scam.

- RJKeeps calling, but NEVER leaves a legible message. I called them back once and they had NO Idea who was calling or why. I asked to be removed from their list but they just ignored the request.
- mike| 1 replyThey are trying new tactics. I admittedly owe some parking ticket from 12/03 in Phoenix. They called today saying they were the "Lindenburg police department ". I would love to challenge the legality of that call. If I call someone, misrepresenting myself as a cop, I'm probably going to face charges. They should too. I do have it recorded and plan to forward it to the city of Phoenix.
