Damon you need to cancel the card you used..The same thing happened to us. We were scammed by the internet cash machine..We got that straightned out and got our money back and then about 2 weeks later the same thing happend with My Internet treasure chest. If you dont cancel your card they will charge you again but using a different company which is all tied together...

If you go back the websites you signed up with and just looked at the T&C you will see that YOU DID agree to the charges when you placed your order - whether you realized it or not.

READ EVERYTHING BEFORE YOU start filling out forms.  Most of these sites CAPTURE data entered into forms - even if you never submit it.

Also read the PRIVACY Policy - this is where it tells you they SHARE/SELL your information with othrs - increasing spam and telemarketing calls.

Close your checking account/debit card and open a new one immediately!!!

I received the same charge of $149.95 on my bank statement first charged by ICM Website on 5/26/10, then again on 6/15/10 $149.95 by Business Web and only the phone # 877-616-7330, I got a hold of a customer service rep named BA Mary I believe Bank of America, she stated that there was messages of this charge on my account which she states no business was listed on this charge and since I disputing this, that I will receive the $149.95 back into my account within 1-3 business days, but we'll see.  I also let my bank know, if this Business Web tries charging my account again, deny the charge.  I also cancelled my membership with ICM Website and they appear to be scammers.

Mine stated just like Alicia on 6-18-2010. I responded to an ad for working at Hone also. It was for $2.97. Then the next thing I know they had taken out $149.95 from my acco by 1877-863-3088 ICMWEBSITES, and then a few days later another $149.95 was taken out of my acco again by 1877-616-7330. I called both number's and was told that by (ICMWEBSITES) that they could only send back ($70.00) and my bank said to file out a fraud form. The 1877616-7330 has sent back the $149.95 because I told them I have contacted the Attn General in Texas, CA, WY of the scams they are pulling. Do not answer to any of these ad's you may get scammed like I have and others have. My bank has cancelled my acco and we are opening under new, so if you been scammed please do the same. I have filed a fraud form on ICM with my bank also. Letters to AG office's.

Not by the law. I'm like all the rest or scamming people. Let me tell you I have contacted the Attorney General Office's in TX, CA, WY about this kind of website's and they are going to be looking into this kind of business. So you keep on doing what you are doing and I am here to tell you it will come to an end. You want scam old people or people that is having a hard time making a living to feed the family or down on their luck any more. I hope no one else gets on your website ever again.

The same thing happened to me on June 16th!  I filled out an affidavit for my bank (Bank of the West) and they are looking into it.  I closed my card and opened a new one immediately.  What a mess!  I hope you get your money back and I hope I do as well!

You need to file with the division of consumer protection in your state. They help me alote. with a web scame. good luck with it all. i was one the phone very day with bbb and consumer and the web bussness people. it take me a week to get some were.

Same thing happened to me and I filed a fraud claim with my bank who stated that they got a hold of the customer rep and would credit me back my money. It has been over 10 business days and no refund. I don't hold my breath that I will see the credit because they wouldn't even disclose the company name who charged me.  I tried to call this morning now 3 different times only to be disconnected each time after listening to their damn elevator music for 3 minutes.

I too was scammed by ICM & had this exact same thing happen to me.  They claim that Business Web is not their affiliate but clearly this is no coincidence.  All you can do is report your credit card Lost & dispute the charges w/ your creditor.

I did not receive a call.  I was looking for part-time employment online.  I signed up with Direct Commerce Academy (work from home program) for a $.99 3-day trial online and I read the fine print.  A charge for $139.95 after the 3-day trial and $39.99 per month thereafter. I did not like that at all.  Additionally, I did not like the fact that I did not receive an email confirmation or any correspondence from them referencing the $.99 or the $29.95 tutorial.  I called the very same day to cancel (7/20/10).  I dialed # (877-875-6080). I spoke with a representative and she gave me another customer support number (888-401-2762).  I called the number and spoke with a lady who informed me that I was not showing in her system.  She said that I should try to call back the following day.  I did.  The representative told me that she could not pull me up either.  I then reverted back to the original number (888-875-6080).  I spoke with a representative Ms. Davanna Adams on (7/21/10) and I told her that I wanted to cancel and I wanted an email confirmation.  She was nice but placed me on hold several times.  She tried to cut me a deal and reduce the monthly price.  I told her NO!!  She said that the supervisor would call me back for cancellation.  Upon reading your blogs, I canceled my debit card immediately following that conversation.  This company is following the same script that was posted on this site.  It is evident that they keep changing their telephone numbers.  Note: The transaction appeared as Internet Biz on my online statement.  BEWARE!!  Thanks for your advice.  One more thing, the rep gave me (866-552-2013) as another customer support number.

i thought i would report back here and hand in a written adive to u ppl that are having this happen to u guys too this happen to me a month ago and i got my money back right away what u need to do is call and cancel ur cards first off and call this number back at 8 am sharp and tell them u want a full refund cuz u didnt athurize a payment for whoever took this money out and it will take like three to seven days to et ur money back and file wit ur fruad department cuz they are ripping ppl off good luck in taking these steps but u can and will get ur money back

I mistakenly filled out a form on the web for more info on a home business, tried to send it without a phone number but reluctantly even provided that.  On the next page that open after I submitted my address & phone #, money was requested.  The amount is minimal but then they have your cc #.  I asked for the name of the company to check it out on available scam info and found the above posts.  The company name is Home Profit Center the man calling indicated.  He said their website is Direct Commerce Academy.  I'm still not sure it's a scam but I don't want to take any chances.  I asked for a phone number and was given 877-304-1477...too close a number listed in above posts for me.  The # that he called me from is 888-804-1698.  After I asked for his number and said I would call back if interested after I checked out the company.  He has called me 3x since then.

Yes I have this on my Bank Card also.  I cannot get any one to answer, and then the phone goes dead.  I believe this is a scam that draws people in to entice them by offering material to teach how
to work from home on building web sites for a living.  The site told me the shipping was all I had to pay and that was $1.49.  Well I did the bad thing of providing a credit card number for the $1.49 and AFTER That !  The site revealed a further cost of $149.  I called them at the time and canceled and they said NO Problem this was cancelled.  Low and BEHOLD IT WAS NOT!!!   We need to get someone on this SCAM!!
