I got a call from 1-877-669-4935 an hour ago asking if I was Julian Garcia. A couple of months ago I changed my cell number as I was getting spurious calls, one of them was dailyt from a local Bank.  I called up the bank to find out what was the reason. The gentleman on the phone asked for my  number.  He checked his records  and asked me if my name was Julian Garcia. I told him I was not and he promised to make a note of that.  I did not get any calls from that bank since then.    I have not given anyone my new cell number and was surprised that this company MJR Capital Services Inc. called asking if I was Julian Garcia

call from MJR located in Mississauga.  They left  a voicemail looking for:  Juanita Martinez - I think I spell that right... They left phone number and address somewhere in Mississauga, ON.  I don't know if they are legit or not, but bottom line, my name is Simon S. and not who they are looking for.  The previous owner of my number is not Juanita Martinez either.  I know this because when I took over this number 8 years ago, the previous owner mother and friends kept calling and I had to explain he changed number.  This is a SCAM!!

Here's another angle. If you actually bothered to read the posts, the majority are getting calls that aren't even related to them. But nice of you to stick up for your bottom feeder employer. I assume the only people who defend collectors actually work for one.

Called claiming I owe $2500, called my insurance company (the real one not the fake number they supplied me) and made sure I was all clear (I was, 2 insurance agents confirmed) but they keep calling and harassing me.

They keep calling my house asking for a Barbara. I tell them  no Barbara lives here. She gets all rude and says oh really last time I called they said she wasn't home. I'm like there has never been a Barbara here she snaps and says are you Barbara. I say no stop calling my house. They are rude!!!

Offshore scammers..don’t answer call

They called me from unknown number and left no indication of their business with me aside from it being urgent. They are indeed a collection agency breaking rules.

SO rude. calls everyday and leaves threatening voicemails. been going on for 4-5 months now and I will unfortunately be changing my number because it's gotten so bad.

called from nearly 100 different numbers. blocking them is pointless because they call from a new number the next day. f these guys.

Its a fraud. Scammers can make up things. Its a waste of time. If u owe them a debt they would actually mail it to your box. Sowhy would u call them back ha!!!

I tried to call back once, and still no voice at all.

Spoke with a couple of them at first and they sounded rather confused. Want me to ID myself (?) um yeah no, if you were legit you should know who you called. Don't ever give these guys any personal info ever.

Searched for +1 1--877-669-4935.  This number is coming from the U.S.  No name showed and no voicemail left.  I get a ton of calls similar to this and each time they alternate the number.  If it is collections as others have stated it would not be coming from the U.S
