James - The government can only go after companies that they receive hundreds of complaints about.  unfortunately MOST PEOPLE only come to the complaint boards - they never file the complaints

So are you one of those who just posts on complaint boards?  

Did you report them to the government agencies?

when I go shopping,sometimes I get hit with whats your phone number,
or name, address, zip code... I do not give it.
I simply say, I do not give out that information.
and thats normally the end of it.
Im not going to stand at the check out
spilling out my personal info just because I bought something
at a store. I dont do that.
and I get hit with it more often I think
simply because I Look like a nice person,
so people get the wrong idea and try to take advantage,
thinking I will give up the info because I look like a nice pushover,
boy are they ever wrong! I have a bad temper, most people
are surprised when I tell them No, I dont give out that info.
And I am fully prepared to tell them where to go, if necessary.
Dont misjudge me! I may "look nice" but I dont take crap from anyone!
and Im not nice! I get angry.

I've had Sprint for 5 years, never had a problem with the service and have a spectacular plan that they dont offer anymore but they call me incessantly everytime I reach the point where I could get money off on a new phone or I look online for what deals I could get on a new phone. Ignore them and eventually they will quit calling.

Have received calls from this number both on my home phone and "missed calls" on my Sprint cell phone.  Answered once by mistake, and she tried to sell me another line.  Why would I want two lines for one person?  I can only talk on one at a time.

If every drug dealer, robber, prostitute, and scammer were a telemarketer instead, we'd have a pretty good world.

in my opinion the people who are making these call are not with Sprint,
they just put those words on an answering machine. I think they are nothing but crooks trying testing you or looking for a number they can use for other illegal purposes. Many times when call me they donot answer the phone. It stinks to we have a government that allows these thugs to use number like this and do not do anything to stop it.

This is what I get from sprint for loyalty?  i've had sprint for ever since I can remember - over ten years.  i don't answer "toll free" numbers and if it's important they can leave me a message - which they don't.  I'm seriously considering switching to T-Mobile.  They have a better offer.  Will see what sprint has to offer. will be interesting.

Number is Sprint huh!! ...interesting. My cell phone just rang again from this number...Guess who my "No-Call" Carrier is !!

Received call yesterday. Gentleman was not very professional and stumbled on his words. He said he wanted to add more service to our phone and then proceeded to ask for my pin number. Didn't feel right to me. I said, "Not only no, but ---- no." If it WAS Sprint, they should know my pin number. Cannot wait till my contract is over so we can leave this company.

People don't answer the phone especially if you have never given out your cell number. The only people that answer are those that NEEED to know who is calling EVERYTIME even if they don't recognize or are expecting a call. If it's important they will leave a message, i know i do if i need to get a hold of someone ASAP.

They have been calling me about once a week (for now) but glad i finally did a google search for this number. So now i know NEVER to answer this number and if the calls increase then i'll call sprint.

Love Sprint but hope they fix this problem. And yeah don't give them ANY INFO, if you need anything added or removed call them yourself (*2)

I've been receiving calls on my Sprint cell from this number for the last 3 week days, during work; missed the first 2, today when I answered, no one was there.

I started getting phone solicitations from Sprint a couple weeks ago, and called their customer service, asked them to put me on their "do not call" list. After this, I still continued to get soliciation calls, and called back again, talked to another rep, who said I had been removed from the 3rd party list, but not the internal "Sprint offers" list. Aack. I had specifically said "no calls of any kind." I don't have evidence to pin the 877 671 1851 calls on Sprint, but it is highly suspicious, since all other recipients seem to be Sprint customers, also. If it is Sprint, this is electronic harassment.

I called the number back and one of the options is to not receive calls for further promotions.  Not sure if they will honor that, but it's worth a shot!

They call on average once per month.  Answer te cell ... no one speaks.
( yep ... I'm on the do not call list )
I figure ... the reason they don't speak ... is the Do Not Call List.  They want you to call them back ... so they call say - you generated same.

Obviously ... who ever this is .. has access to Sprints info / customers / phone numbers

Just call the number back and press 6 and that will opt you out of any FUTURE "promotions" hopefully

this is really a sprint number, im telling you 'cause i used to work as a telesales agent. we both contacted sprint and nextel customers. believe it or not, one of our agents managed to sale 64 new lines in 20 days, he really got a great comission out of it. but not all calls were sales... if you still not believe that this is a sprint number, you can call 800 - SPRINT - 1 (8007774681) for further information
