tired of calls with no message even though i dont have an account

No messages left. Receive calls every week.

Any body know what they are calling about?

Who is this who got a hold of my cell phone number?  My cell phone is for my family use only. I plan to report this company.  I also plan to find out how it got my number.

Call on Saturday when bank is probably not open and no one was there.

Called me at 4:48 PM EST and did not leave a voicemail

Phoned me twice, no message

This number has been calling daily for weeks. My husband answered it a couple of days ago. They asked for me and it was a call from Sovereign bank wanting me to get a debit card. I told them I was not interested. They just called again now, saturday 3:06pm

why are they calling us?????????

just got a call and no left message from it. called the number and they said was Sovereign bank - if this is a legit call from Sovereign they would leave a message on voicemail - this is someone trying to get your personal info

got a call, no msg. i'm not sure if this is the first time they called me, but i will keep track from now on and be sure to pick up next time to have a lovely chat with whoever it is :)

This number called me once yesterday at a quarter to 5 in the evening and again today at 3:10pm, and also called my husband's phone the yesterday, around 10:30 in the morning.

Each time they did not leave a message.

I'm always very warey of a number that consistently calls and doesn't leave messages. If it is "Sovereign Bank", I would definitely not give them any personal information over the phone.

Since November 20th, I've gotten a call from this number every day, minus the 4-day weekend for Thanksgiving and Sundays.  What's really annoying is that I already have an account with Sovereign.  If I wanted any additional services with them, I'd go to the bank!

It is Sovereign Bank trying to sell to their account holders the idea of getting the overdraft protection, since you have to opt in.  So, if you don't opt in, it cost you nothing; if you do opt in, there is a charge like before for every overdraft (OD) you make, plus a cost per day (interest) for the OD, which cost $$...  They are trying to build back up the lost income.

Calls about 5 times a month. I do NOT have an account with this company.

I keep getting calls on my cell phone from this number - I do not have an account with Sovereign Bank.  I was told they probably got the number wrong.  They ask for your social security number when you call them back.

I would NEVER EVER have anything to do with a bank that acts deceitfully and harrasses people, denying that they are doing so!

They need to be investigated by the FCC and anyone else to expose FRAUDULENT activity!

It is Sovereign Bank.  They are offering account holders free upgrades because, as of July 2010, Sovereign stopped offering the free interest bearing account.  Those who hold this account are being offered a free upgrade to a Classic or a Preferred account.  With the preferred, if you have direct deposit, there is no monthly maintenance fee and there will be no charges by Sovereign to use foreign ATMs.  If you do not upgrade to the new account by March 2011, you will be charged a monthly fee.

I've been told the caller that it is "on behave of Sovereign Bank".  I think it is time to ask Sovereign Bank what the hell they are doing with us.  I asked if they are Sovereign bank, I asked if they are not Sovereign bank, they hung up.  We must call Sovereign bank to tell them to stop calling us.

Received a call over the weekend on my work phone, no message. I've never done any business with Sovereign Bank.
