Phishing call. Asked to be put on do not call. Was told it would take 30 days.

why am I getting these unknown calls who are these people

Just got one from this number.  I have a Sovereign account, but any time they have ever called me in the past, they have always left a message.  This is suspicious.

This bank is now bothering people? They should know better. They hang up when we answer and we're on the Do Not Call list! Shame on them!

Called yesterday and today, a holiday, no message. called back yesterday and was told it was probably the sales department...well, stop calling me please!

Just called again. No message. They need to stop calling!!!!

Called me 3 times today, its only 1:50 pm

I get a call every day usually in the late morning.Isn't there a law against this type of harassment,anyway I'm sorry I ever opened an account with them.I will be closing it ASAP.

Two days in a row at the same time I get calls from this number. I won't answer and no message is left.

Sovereign bank *aka Santander Banks* is the culprit.  Every night, twice a night, for a month straight I receive a recorded message from them.  Yes, I do have an account but this is a bit over the top.  I have also noticed commercials on TV from a Law firm representing a class action suit against Santander -  for their annoying telemarketing practices !

I do have a joint account with Sovereign but I am not the main one on the account and they have tried to reach me in the past week and it has something to so with benefits. I want them to mail me the information. I thought that banks couldn't call like that.

I called Sovereign bank and the rep said that she would take my name off the call list. The next week, they called again, fortunately I have call blocking with my phone service so I blocked the number. Won't hear from them again.

I was receiving calls every other week then weekly and now daily.  I have never answered but did call the Bank from another number to see if they can do anything. Only if I were a customer.

I do not pick-up the phone when this # comes up, but I will take your word that it is someone at least pretending to be "from Sovereign Bank" in any case, I will pass on this Info to my ex-wife because she works for that Bank!! I think that an officer should look in to it! If it turns out that it is an impostor, I think they should go to jail!! Let see how it turns out!

Called today. Early morning. Woke up my 4 m/o. Tired of them calling, no message! They've called maybe a dozen times over the last month. Twice a day sometimes. Have an account, question is, for how much longer...

Calls at least ones a week.  I'm getting tired of that.

I got a call from someone stating they were from Sovereign bank saying that my current free checking account will now be charging fees and because I had direct deposit I was eligible to apply for their premium checking account. I told them to call me back another time because I was working...I wanted to call my Sovereign location to see if this was legit call from them. And it turns out it was! Beginning February 1st we will be charged a service fee on regular checking accounts. If you are eligible you can upgrade. You can also do this at your current Sovereign location. The representative should not ask for any account #'s or information. They already have it! All they need is your consent to upgrade your account.

Calls everyday at 4:45.  Have an account and seriously getting annoyed.  I'm at work!  Leave a message if you're legit!!!
