Called at 9:21 this yesterday morning, 4:40 yesterday, Again this morning and just a few minutes ago.
No message left. Unavailable on the ID. If this is Sovereign Bank, go away. I don't have an acct with them

I also got at least 10 calls. Once I called the bank( I have no account) ; they had no idea what I was talking about. Another time I called a local branch the said they would"report it".
I have a caller ID phone which will block numbers but the phone will ring once.

Check the reputation of Santander Bank which I think is taking Sovereign over. It's a Spanish Bank that wants to make inroads in the US and is the subject of lawsuits.

It's a fraud, and the above posting is from a shill for the fraud.

No message left; unavailable, missed call

The above number has been calling about every 3 days for the past month. The last time they told us the call was about a "propane account", & they wanted to know our address. We hung up the phone without giving information.

I'm getting called daily. I'm not a Sovereign customer. Even if I was, I do business in writing not over the phone (esp when they first)!
Instead of a "Do not call" list, there should be a number to dial that would report the # that just called to charge an annoyance fee to reduce our government debt.

For the last month or so I get a call from this number every few days. They never leave a voice message. I keep the sound and vibrate off on my phone, and I am glad I do because if this [***] number called me and actually disrupted my life I would be even more pissed. I am not a customer of sovereign bank. never have been, never will be, so they need to stop calling my goddamned number. I dont even answer when people i know call me because they should just text instead. why the hell would i answer a number i dont know?

Hey, how about your [***] company just stop cold calling people? no one likes it, and it cant possibly do anything positive for the image of sovereign bank. now that we all have the number saved in our cell phones under the name "SHITSTAIN BANK" we will call you if we need you. like anyone needs extra homework because your company somehow got a hold of everyones phone number. its like, here put your personal information on our website and we promise we wont call you anymore. dick.

Keep calling everyday and don't leave a message. I have read other postings and it is from Sovereign Bank.
All ready have and account with them. Don't need any other service. Wish they would stop calling. Am also on the no call list.

The phone number is Sovereign Bank yet it is not the branch's  number, it's the one a customer can call for automated info about an account by pushing 1, 2, 3, etc. There is a way to get a real person on this number (push # 0)! It has to be some kind of scam because banks usually mail letters, not call! Also, I'd like to know how a scammer makes the caller ID on  my phone list the number and have 'sovereign bank' listed as the caller! Maybe it's someone who used to or still does work there and has access to account info! Be careful and don't give them any personal info!

I called Santander and complained about these calls. They said they would remove my number, but they wouldn't tell me the name of the third party they use to make these calls. I was briefly a Sovereign customer (they were forced onto me through a merger) - they are one of the worst, most pushy and agressive group of salespeople. I personally would never do business with these people ever again.

It is now Nov 18, and the calls have not stopped. Thank you Santander / Sovereign for proving that you are as awful as I imagined.

Sovereign Bank is now called "Santander". This is a banking company located in Spain that bought up Sovereign some time ago. I went into Santander's home page and the number is listed there as a Personal Representative Information contact. The calls are "legal" if you have any kind of relationship with the bank. They're not if you're on the "Do not call" list and have no relationship. We might get them to stop if we flood Santander with complaints. Complaining to the branches won't do any good.

I see on Santander's Home Page that they want to be liked on Facebook and Twitter.  "SantanderBankUS or Santander Bank US" Those are the places to hit along with letting your friends and family in on it.

I answered and heard a pre-recorded message along the lines of "Sovereign Bank attempted to call you for telemarketing purposes but we were unable to reach you. If you would like more information about.." .. which I wasn't, so I hung up.

They call me at least once a day.

They claim to from Santander/Sovereign bank. They want you to enroll your debit card in a program that will allow them to pay the charge if you don't have sufficient funds. In turn you will be charged an overdraft fee of $35. They are phishing for personal info. They will ask for things that they should already have if you are an account holder. DON'T give them anything!

Keeping calling ask for someone that does not live here. I said if u are really a bank why are calling here for someone I keep telling we don't . I ask why u keep calling they hung up
