yes this is true because i have worked for this company dont give out your checking acct nmbr because the co owner charles day takes extra money from peoples accounts and he doesnt care. according to charles im going to keep banging these accounts 4 and 5 times they owe money and they got money. he does this to cover payroll. he is also friends with bags of money who place was shut down by the fbi and the fbi needs to shut hearshe kemp down

Got a phone message from a George Christo (Kristo?) saying I was a person of interest in a case about a brother-in-law (believable, unfortunately).  Then my dad calls and tells me he got the same message.  Gave a case number and a number to call back - 877-787-4717.  This differed from the number in the Caller ID - 800-607-0386.  I advised my dad to ignore, and I think I will do the same.

I dont know how people say this Hearshe & kemp is a scam. I received a call from a Michael Demetri from hearshe & kemp 877 787 4717. after some searching and found out they are a real debt recovery agaency. I paid my debt and it was removed from my credit report within 3 months, maybe everyone should just pay their debts instead of pointing the finger at the collectors. PAY YOUR DEBTS PEOPLE! IT WORKS FOR MILLIONS.

A few months ago I was receiving calls from a man by the name of Steve Grievas claiming to be an attorney representing Herche Kemp. He left a message with all kinds of information. He said that criminal charges would be brought against me for bad checks (which I didn't do) and that he would be filing in court about the debt. All this was left on the voice mail, I should have known he was a scammer then. Upset, I called back and he began to tell me that I owed x amount of dollars above what I really owed due to attorney fees. The total equaled about $1800 when I actually owed about $800. I told him I couldn't afford the payments he requested. He was like oh well, I'll be going to court. I told him that I had been paying on this account via my debt management program. He basically called me a liar but then said DMP are scams and they steal money. He told me they had not received any money on my behalf.  Two days later he called and offered me lower payments. What he didn't know that in those two days, I did my research. I called my DMP and they tracked down the payments. They told me that my checks had been cashed by the original creditor (cash advance company) every month. I called the original creditor and they told me my account had been sold to such and such company and gave me the number. I called that number and they told me my account had been sold to another company and gave me the number. Eventually after the fourth company, I arrived to Hersche Kemp LLC. Which I found out was a collection agency. I basically ended up with the same phone number Mr. Grievas gave me. A lot of the numbers I received where numbers from this website. I knew then he was a fake. I believe all the company names they gave me where all connected in some way because I kept getting the run around when trying to call. Eventually it led me back to the 888-217-2701 number. I did not call him back to say yes or no to the payments. Luckily I had done my research and found this website and knew not to give any credit card information. I never heard from him for months. I also filed a complaint with FTC and BBB.
Recently I have started getting calls from a man named George Christo. Guess what same voice as Steve Grievas but from a different 305 number. I just ignore his calls and like before he leaves me nasty messages and threatening that he will be filing in a couple of days.
I understand the purpose of a collection agency...to collect money owed, but these guys take it to another level. I burrowed money and was not able to pay it as planned and promised. My mistake, but I am paying now. It is probably not as much as they would like at one time but they are accepting my payments just as well. I am trying to make good on this debt I owe.
I am fortunate that I found this website because he had me so upset that I probably would have given him my information and then I would have been having extra money taken out of my account which I cannot afford.
I have been in the program for months now and have been getting my debt down. I have even had some creditors take my interest rate down to zero just for making payments regularly. I wish these people would just leave me alone.

Pay your debts and they WILL leave you alone.

There are only two reasons a person would post on this sight or even go searching for this information.

1) They have been bothered by this company

2) They work for this company.

Obviously, it's the latter. So instead of you calling me and harrasing me...let me tell you what I WILL DO. You can send me your company address and ref# and then I will gladly have my DMP payments go directly to you instead of the original creditor. That way you can cash the check every mouth. But I WILL NOT give you any credit card information so that you can rape my account by taking out way more money than I owe just so you guys can meet payroll. So if you are happy with those terms then give me a call...if not don't bother me!
Now go and tell that to your fake attorneys.

LOL "hersey kemp" is trying to do their job??? These are bottom feeders that buy (for less than a penny on the dollar) old debts (over 7 years old) that are past the time allowed by law to collect or sue or past time for any action at all. They get these old accounts and hope to harass or threaten people wanting at least 1 out of 10 to pay. Its past the time allowed for legit collection and is quasi legal at best. DONT PAY THEM. They will threaten to send a summons expecting you to cave into them. Simply call them and then when you have them on the phone hold down the # key and any number key for several seconds just to piss them off.
