Well it was only after I figured out I got swindled by another company using the name Shepsu Financial Services, that I realized I was taken for $350 earlier this year by Hearshe Kemp LLC. I thought at the time I was settling an old debt. I was able to dispute the Shepsu charges, but it's too late to dispute the ones from Hearshe.
Their routine is to call you saying you have a pending civil action against you unless you agree to settle this debt. As I did, got scared into thinking I would have lawyers after me and agreed to pay it. Shepsu had me set up for $100 payments for 7 months, but thankfully only 2 had gone through before I talked to the bank about it.

Well unfortunately I have been paying HK since Oct. 2009.  I got a call back in Oct. stating that there was a pending civil action agianst me in Georgia to call.  So I called and the Mr. Greecco I spoke to told me that I owned money for a loan that I took out from First Franklin Finance in 2004.  I proceeded to tell them that I did not live in Georgia at that time and did not borrow any money from FFF in 2004.  He said that the amout was over $1500.00 and I about choked.  I had borrowed money from FFF in 2001 for $400.00 for my business.  When I left the sold the business a few months later I payed the loan in full.  In 2002 moved to a different state.  Well they threaten me with lawsuits and garnishes so I got very scared and even though I told them that this was not mine they had my S.S. # and the FFF account #. So they said they would work out a deal and that I could may $900.00 to take care of this.  Well I didn't follow my gut and research it so I set up payments with them for $50.00 a month for 5 months then negotiate and new payment.  So everything was fine till Dec. 30 they charged my account $50.00 then Dec. 31 they charged my account again $50.00 putting my account in the negative and raking up $128.00 in NSF fees.  So I find this website today and call them to get my money back.  They say that they see the error and will fix the problem but I need to fax documents stating the NSF fees.  I then tell them that I have contacted the FTC, BBB and the AG, when I did that their tone changed.  They tell me that the loan was a car loan which I knew was not mine cause I have never had a car loan and then they went on to say that the loan was from 1999 not 2004 as stated before.  Then I knew something was up so I said they better remove this ASAP and that by the Fair Credit reporting act the statue of limitations was up on this loan and that is better no be on my credit report or any type of negative reporting on my credit report.  The Mr. Greecco on the phone could not talk straight due to the stuttering that was going on promised me that this would be removed, all money refunded and that they would not be hearing from me again.  I stated that if it was not done in a timely manner the would be hearing from my attorney.  (I have there address)
So my advice is people if anyone calls collecting a debt please research it first before the agree to anything.  Oh and keep your receipts.

P.S.  I payed with my check card so I have went to the bank and canceled my card and set the info to my banks fraud department.

I have received phone calls at work and home from a company called Hearsh-Kemp (sp?) the number they ask to be called back at is 1-877-455-5001. They say it's their legal dept. wanting to discuss a pending bank transaction that their legal department wants to review. Anyone else get something like this? I've Googled the company and phone number but don't come up with anything.

I was awarded a default judgment against this company under the FDCPA yesterday in the amount of $15,000 for damages, interest, costs and $4,540 in attorney fees.  If you are receiving harassing calls from this company, please contact a local attorney.  Do not stand for this!

The same thing happened to me. I just so happen to get a -or overdraft letter. I called and found out what was charged because I know that it wasn't me. They indicated that Hearshe and Kemp from #646-871-3777 withdrew from my account. This was not authorized. So, I contact them at this number and a lady answers and I asked for someone that can help me. I also her for their number since she handled all of the offices in the building and she would rather transfer me to them.... After telling this individual (male) that I do not have a case # because I owe nothing but money was withdrew without any authorization; I was put on hold and then return with the asking of my name and along with this individual (male ) another individual (male) starts talking; they are talking at the same time. I replied and said " I'm not doing this, You Took Money From My Account and I Expect You to Return It, and thats Called Stealing... And Hung up because I didn't realize it was funny.
