Left an voicemail stating that they’re unsure why I haven’t called back ?? Pretty sure it’s a scan. They called from 629-205-6376

I got the same message today....

I received a voicemail from "Katie" saying that they have tried to get in contact with me about the extended warranty on my vehicle.  The message was pretty rude and I'm over it.  I called the number she gave, 888-218-0804 to be asked to get removed from the list.  The man that answered was livid and started yelling that I owe $195, blah blah blah.  I asked how I could owe when I hadn't even told him who I was yet.  He did not like that and I ended up having to hang up.

I received a call from "Katie" that went straight to voicemail. The missed call log records the number that called as 223-204-5083. The VM log says it came from the number 224-477-2303. The voicemail states "Hi there, this is Katie, I was calling regarding the factory warranty on your vehicle. Um, we've actually called you several times and we've also sent out a few mailers to your home, so I'm not quite sure why we haven't heard back from you yet. In any case, it's important that we speak to you today in order to keep your file open. So, please call me at 1-888-218-0804. Thank you so much for your attention to this matter and I hope we can connect soon. Bye for now."

Definitely a scam.

Same story as above! I had the exact same voice mail left from “Katie”. Missed call was from one number, voice mail left listed as another number, and then a third different call back number. Called back and “Breanna” answered the phone. When I explained about the message and inquired about what company she was calling from, she told me she could reveal any information about who they were until I gave them my name. When I refused she hung up on me. I called again and “Breanna” answered again. We had the sam conversation and I was again hung up on. The third call back I spoke to “Rachel” and I told her I had been hung up on by Breanna twice and that I just wanted to know who and what company I was speaking to. She explained she had no problem telling me and said she was an auto warranty company and they don’t reveal info at first because people leave bad reviews for them on the better business bureau. I informed her that “Breanna” earned them a real nice review from me and then I was hung up on again. Definitely a scam!!

“Send out mailers to your home. So I'm not quite sure why we haven't really heard back from you yet. In any case it is important that we speak to you today in order to keep your file open. So please call me at 1-888-218-0804. Thank you so much for your immediate attention to this matter and I hope we can connect soon. Bye for now."

I received the exact same voicemail today. Word for word.

Got the same message from Kathy Word for Word I knew it was a scam immediately and just blocked the number, I know blocking won’t work because they’ll just call from a different number but like this number I won’t answer the new number either, beware it’s nothing but a SCAM!!!!!!

They did me the same way this morning. Very rude and demanded my checking account , credit card info. People beware

Call from 601-463-8260 requesting a return call to 888-218-0804.

Called about factory warranty on my vehicle. Said they sent mail and called several times. Need to hear from me today! The callback number was 888-218-0804. But the phone number on my caller ID was 785-384-8202

Got two calls from them today that went straight to voicemail. Leave me alone Katie!

Got exactly the same message from a 714 area code requesting I call the 888-218-0804 number - very sweet and concerned sounding - I called,  got another woman who was very insistent - You MUST renew  this manufacturers warranty!! The manufacturer demands it!! Etc. Where do we report these scammers? They are scum!

Recording of "Katie" re factory warranty on my vehicle, with same claims others here wrote about. She called my cell from 534-202-4840, but said to call this 888 number. SCAM!!

Very cheerful female voice.....same as others report.  Call back immediately so they can keep my file open.  Do not answer.
