I got a call from "Katie" at this number. She stated she'd tried numerous times to get ahold of me by phone and email. Not true! I have never heard from her. After typing in the number, I realized that it's a scam.

I got the same person calling me this morning and leaving the same message. She said her name was Katie but never mentioned company name or who she was with. I haven't called back and won't.

“Oh hi there this is Katie I was calling regarding the factory warranty on your vehicle um was actually called you _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ times and we also sent out um if you mailers to your home so I'm not quite sure why we haven't heard back from you yet in any case is important that we speak to you today in order to keep your file open to please call me at 18882180804 thank you so much for your needed attention to this matter and I hope we can connect soon bye for now”  - This is a scam! Beware!

I just got the exact same voicemail as others have reported.  Verizon did screen the call as potential spam, so it went straight to voicemail.

Katie called and left a voicemail telling me they havent been able to get a hold of me for my cars extended warranty. Called another number back and spoke to a man who said the companies name is American Motor Company.  Phone call from from Arlington TX.  I own my car so knew this was a bunch of horse [***].  Get a life people.

Got the exact same message, looking it up brought me here.

Never saw the call come in but they left a voicemail. Apparently, while my message that tells people I’m not available was playing, they started their recorded message that sounds like a normal person. My message started with “um, a few mailers to your home, so I’m not quite sure why we haven’t heard back from you.”  Not sure what that was and suspected scam, so I came here to check. Thank you to everyone who reported this number.

Same message.."Car warranty, HAVE TO ACT NOW," sent mailers, etc....

"Katie" called about my factory warranty. All my cars are old...so I knew this was not true. "We've actually called you several times and we've also sent out a few mailers to your home so I'm not quite sure why we haven't heard back from you. In any case it's important that we speak to you today in order to keep your file open."

Same "Katie" story, same message, same return phone number 888-218-0804 - Called back and the guy that answered said that I dialed the wrong number, he doesn't know Katie, have no idea who called you, etc. Ha! I said yes you do, but don't call back.

Got a call with that same exact message from a girl supposedly named Katie. When I called bqck that number (to waste the scammers time because I knew it was a scam) they asked how can I help you? I said I got a call about some factory warranty on my car. And they said What is the year make and model of your car so I can look it up. After that I hung up because I didn't want to give them any info.

exact same thing happened to me just now... i call and guy named jim hangs up on me 3 times when i ask to speak to supervisor... like they can keep harassing me but hang up on me when i ask to speak to someone. how do we end these scams... katie called me on an unknown number... did not even ring .. went straight to my v.m.

Car warranty.  Call showed as restricted but they left vm to call 888-218-0804 because they didn't "understand why I hadn't called about what they mailed me".  I didn't.
I called them and lots of background noise.  I said "ahh you are a call center" and they hung up on me.
