- BooI received the same phone calls........started yesterday (12/6/2018) at or near 8pm. I didn't answer, but I called back and some lady answered the phone. she act like she was scared when I question her why she called me. And she said that she didn't call me. I asked her what company are you calling me from and she said Google. Again she act like she was scared to talk. When I asked her who SHE was she hung up the phone. I blocked the calls.

- RondaWas called several times saying they are from Microsoft and my computer is infected. I need to go The the start button, at that point I ended the conversation with the first caller. Second caller I wouldn’t let him get that far and I said to him the same thing the first caller said to me . Then I told him to remove me from his call list or I would take legal. Then the POS had the balls to say “ LET ME PUT MY DICK IN YOUR MOUTH “

- NJCalled today by this #. Told me I'm not computer savvy...so...I asked him what kind of computer do I have? He says a dell. Again I say what kind. He says a laptop. Again I say what kind. He says an all in one...with a touch screen. Wrong on all counts. Big scam. Calling themselves system mechanic, security garden and a few other made up features in my supposed security purchase. Whatever you tell them they will use against you.

- GtCalled repeatedly, woman with Indian accent was very rude, insisting that her service I've never heard of is going to be turned off. Total scam. Blocked.
- JM replies to MickeyReceived 5 calls in about 15 minutes. Claimed that my security updates were not going through. Tried to have me run MSCONFIG so that he could help me update my computer. I told him no thanks and hung up. I immediately got a call from 503-495-3091 from Beaverton, OR. Did not answer. Thanks for the heads-up.
- LibbyGot a call this morning (Saturday) from the 888-224-0966 number, said he was with Dell and they were getting reports that my computer was being hacked by someone in Florida and one in Russia. Wanted to guide me into my system so he could "block" the hackers. LOL! He has a thick Indian accent and I told him I'd check with my ISP. He didn't want me to do that and was very persistent and I hang up anyway. He calls back after a couple minutes and my husband answered. He told him I was talking with my ISP and that we'd get it straightened out. Again, he was against that and persisted that we let him help. Husband had a few choice words and told him NOT to call back. We did call ISP and they told us to call the State Police, and they would be giving us a new cable router. The State Police said there was very little they could do about it, and suggested we call Attorney General's office. We knew before calling what we'd be told, but did want it noted. Also tried to look up the IP addresses online with no results, same with the phone number as well. I did learn they can hack people's phones and make calls from that individual's number, so trying to trace calls or IP addresses are only dead ends as they cover their tracks very well. Keep your antivirus up to date with daily scans, don't permit file/printer/network sharing, and don't permit another person or company to access your computer to help you. Check your system and make sure those options are OFF. Also check them weekly as one simple slip and they can manually turn them back on! Good luck folks!

- MBCalled stating my IP address had been listed as being used by multiple ppl. That looked as if they were in connect with Russia.
My only issue is they didn’t call my local phone number listed with any of my accounts.
When I asked what company they were calling from. It was not one in our area. I asked if there was a number I could call back, to be certain this was all legit (I knew it was a scam). He gave me a number. I told them I looked that number up in our federal data base. He hung up.- Caller: Company with govt computer security

- Nicole| 1 replyThey have been calling me multiple times a day after I told them I do not have the Dell anymore. So today instead of the same loser it was a woman. She called me today. 12/25/18 CHRISTMAS FREAKING DAY. I knew it was them and went OFF. I will be blocking this number first thing in the AM.

- KckmCalled me and told me my email account had been hacked. Called me on Christmas Day!! I don't buy their game. They've called me in the past from the same number - claiming to be from Dell and telling me I needed to log onto my computer so they can 'help' me with my computer issues. What a crock!! Didn't buy their fraudulent talk then and I don't buy it now! So they called me again yesterday. I told them they had reached the sheriff's office and that this line was recorded and asked how I could help them. They hung up! Suckers!!

- Enemy of Scammers| 1 replySo they called me a few times earlier in 2018. I am very VINDICTIVE and have been calling them back day and night every day harassing them, I do this with all scammers till they disconnect their number. This 888-224-0966 is a hard one to crack, but I'll keep calling them. They know me well and hate me and always cuss me out and I reply with I love you so much baby, other times whey they cuss me out I ask if I can order a gluten free pizza, etc.
I do this with several phone lines at once and they are really getting fed up. Someomes I call with 2 different phones with speaker on and they talk to each other, tears roll down my eyes from laughing so hard.- Caller: google/dell/tech
