"Peter" did not know how to handle that! He asked what happened and I said I got it changed on the 6th try, no thanks to him. So he said "OK, I guess that is it" and hung up. Number is blocked since they are persistent buggers.- Caller: Phony Google

- AnnoyedI got a call this morning from 888-224-0966 from a person going by the name of Sam Bronson. He insisted that my e-mail account was corrupted and I should give him access to my computer. I told him that I wasn't interested and hung up the phone. He kept calling me back ultimately threatening to close my e-mail account. well its been several hours and i'm getting emails as usual. This guy was really convincing offering me a registration number for my computer and everything he could think of to gain access. These creeps are getting more sophisticated with scams these days. So beware and don't get ripped of by this nonsense! I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST. I am reporting this number to the Attorney General's Office. ASAP

- GBJohnGot a call from this number but didn't answer it (blacklisted it). Even if it was legit Norton, I would not talk to them. In my experience, they are not a reliable, nor reputable, operation.
- KandiI got calls similar to everybody else, said somebody from overseas tried 12-15 x's to change my yahoo password, to which I told him, well obviously it hasn't been changed bc I logged on today, than I hung up, to which he called right back told me he needed my password so that they help me change my password,,,,hmmmm....NOT!!!...I don't need help changing my password, I know how to do that without assistance from some random over the telephone voice, I hung up again and blocked the #....I'm sure they'll call from a different # next time...
- Caller: unsure
- Skysong replies to MickeyToday they have called at 3:20 PM, 3:52 PM, and again at 5:27 PM.
I have blocked their number but they keep trying....This is getting so over the top ridiculous it makes me ill.
There has to be something the major Telecommunications Companies can do about this and put an end to this harrassment! They must see this constant stream of calls going through their network. Why are we paying high fees when they don't give us anything in return to cut down on these scam calls? I'm wondering how many more calls tonight, tomorrow, etc..... - C- Good replies to SJ| 1 replyThese jerks did the same thing to me today as well. +1 (888) 224-0966 Needs to be flagged and blocked from all Mobile phones! Wish companies like Verizon could block these before they even get to their customers
- Kat* replies to C- GoodHow are "companies like Verizon" supposed to know what calls you do or don't want? It's not as if they can magically know if a scammer is spoofing the number or not.
