I got the same thing. I was going to call even though I knew it was a scam, but I thought it was funny.. but thanks for this.. I was surprised to find this.. I have a number of 1888-768-6150
The run on sentence of all the things I won was just so funny.. I won this, or this, OR this, or this, or this.. seriously..
wow.. I'm glad it's just not a time share thing.. but thanks guys for making my feelings valid, that it is infact a scam.. it's always good to check for things online.. ALSO, I got a bank of america thing that told me that someone tried to use my information, so I called them and asked. .they told me to send it to them, that it wasnt real and that they would never ask you to go on to their website to check out your information.. also, never click on a LINK.. copy, then paste it in the browser.. that is very important if you do feel like seeing just how professional and real these websites look like.. And please, please, you all must know, but unfortunalty a friend of mine got scammed... dont ever ever give out any personal information unless you know what you are doing is real.. just a word of advise.. this "friend" is my boyfriends father, and it hurt him a lot.. he had just got divorced, and it was one of those send me money and I'll send you money back type things that pulled on his wonderful heart strings.. dont get scammed.. ALWAYS check it out online first. there are just too many unfortunate people out there that are desperate enough to steal from anyone.. maybe even their own families.. who knows.. also.. Canada should be added to the list of places who are scamming.. I got a check from them for 5grand.. they wanted me to "secret shop" but send them the remaining money.. when I called and asked the person if it was real, it was a canada number and I could tell right away it wasnt real.. just be carefull guys.. some things are obviously fake, but other's are much harder to detect.. like my Bank of America thing.. it looked so real.. the only reason I called was to double check and see if I could handle it on the phone, still thinking it was real.. that wasnt me calling, it was God, because usually I would have just went along with it, it was that professional.. ok.. there is an ABC travel in Texas, but no listing for AVC.. so.. they arent real.. and I searched all texas.. I used to be a cell phone operator so I know how to look.. again.. be carefull, especially you guys with great hearts...

Dont wast your time. this company has been doing this scam since 2000. Save your time and gas money, If your a hot chick i take donations for saving you from looking like a dumb [***] bragging to your friends or staying up all night thinking about the bad azzzzz cruise you thought you got.....  i know it sucks..  and i feel the pain myself.    MARSHALL

This shyt is such a scam when I read this I immediately called and told them they were dumb for thinking they can scam me I'm not stupid I told them that I read online that these prices are scams and it's going to take a whole lot more to convince me they got really angry and said I assure u ull get ur prices if u just come and talk with is for 90 damn minutes of ur life and I told them they can count me out.....

I have an idea:  Those of us who've received these scam solicitation cards should call and book the visit, ...but, of course, never show up.  That would help waste their resources and propel them to the financial ruin they deserve.

I just received a letter dated Aug 10,2009 from AVC Travel what ascam

well thy been calling me from this # 817-440-1034 two times a day but i dont asnwer im not wasting my time talkin to this stupid ppl..... by the way they are intelligent because they dont leave a voicemail...

I can not believe that these people that prey on the stupid are still able to send out letters.  I just received one today.  Same B.S.  Just call 1-888-261-2595 to claim prize.  

I should wrap it in a brick and throw it through a window at AVC Travel, 1221 River Bend, Suite 120, Dallas TX 75247.  That is probably just a mail drop for the criminals anyway so what good what it do.  

Instead I will stalk the mail drop and see who picks up mail for the box.  Maybe it is just forwarded out.  Then I could put a tracker in a box mail it and follow it to the destination.  Then I will report the real address of the offenders.  Who wants to show up at 2:00 AM to claim their prize with me?????

If the Texas AG will not do anything about this then we should....Get a rope!!

Pioneer Parkway is major east to west road in Arglinton TX. just off of 360. Mostly residential area, with strip malls.  I keep getting these too, not sure why when they found out I was broke the last time.

I got the boarding voucher and a baggage check.   All of this was on a last name I haven't used in 10 years on my address now. I didn't EVER sign up for this NOR WILL I EVER!   I want to know where they get their information and how much they know about me!  They wanted me to look up AVC's 20years of Excellent records.  Looked it up and AVC is American Vacation Center.   The AVC THAT HAS CONTACTED ME is American Verification Center. THIS IS PHISHING!   SCAMMERS!

I actually went and took the hr and a half tour of the place(nice resort might I add) got a 40 dollar gas card and won a 500 dollar check. I deposited it at the bank, and it was actually a real valid check. thanks RICHLAND HILLS!
