I just got a call from this number.  She said she was from the Federal Procurement Agency.  She said it was to work on federal and government vehicles with no bidding and same day pay.  We are a dealership and she wanted to talk to the owner only.  But I am always suspicious of these calls so I checked here.

I got my plumbing company listed with them, it definitely helped me get some more work.

Funny, posts from people who claim how good this so-called company is. Ever wonder why they are looking up the phone number on here, then?

Positive posts like this invariably are from the scammers themselves. No one looks up the phone number on this site unless they have a real concern or want to warn others about a ripoff. No such thing as "j smidlap auto works", no verifiable info whatsoever.

This site works and interferes with the scammers' ability to run their scams on the phone, so they come on here to make fake posts and try to control the damage. Unconvincing!

I just received a call from someone at this number who said her name was Catherine Barrett and she was from the "Federal Procurement Agency". I didn't call back since there is no such agency, I figured it was a scam.

We have done lots of work through this program.. We have sold 1000's of instruments to honor guards throughout the country. Was the best investment we ever made. We made it back 100 times over. Thank you Federal Procurement Agency.

I own a business and wanted to enroll into this program but I did not qualify since I was not considered a small business since my annual revenue was too high.

Caller from Federal Procurement Agency, requesting to speak only to owner or president or he would lose his job because calls are recorded.

with a cost to be listed in their purchasing guide.

I received a call from Cyndi McGough of the Federal Procurement Agency. I own a restaurant, she wants me to advertise in some Federal publication that the government uses.We are doing a phone interview and sales pitch. She says the government is required to use private business for a certain percentage of their needs. If I advertise I will be one of a select few in my category.

This has scam written all over it.  Guy called wanting to talk to owner.  We're always cautious with suspicious pitches from telemarketers, so we did a little investigating before we suggested to the owner whether or not to continue any further.  Looked very questionable so when "Russ" called back again I politely told him "we weren't interested". His reply was a very rude "Well, thanks for wasting my time".  Anybody in a professional business, working with the government would not talk to potential customers in such a way. So unprofessional. Stay away.

Got a call from a lady calling herself Tula saying she is with the FPA and working for the government.  Just a scam trying to sell some space on a guide they put together.  AVOID!  Also uses tel 727-565-0160

Yes, this is a scam. Just ask them for refences and see how many you get.

Small business is based off annual rev. You must work for them to.  If you really owned a business you would know what SBE requires. And it isnt off annual rev.

I got a call from the FPA was just wondering if anyone dealt with them? It sounds very good that I will get business from this. I called the Better Business Bureau and they had a A - rating so that is helpful. Any advice I would gladly appreciate.

Call from this # identified himself as Brent White with FPA Guide.  Would only talk to owner or president.

Do you really think the federal government has their own factory where they make all of their  products? Oh I'm sorry that's right those troops aren't really over seas, their making all those products in that federal government factory. I think the person that writes all the crap about this company, the FPAGuide probable doesn't even own the computer he uses to write all the crap. Any real business owner knows there is no way you can please every one. So grow up. And yes I really do own a business.

They even say that it isn't a sales call, not trying to sell anything, and must speak with the owner because the Federal Government REQUIRES it.  What a load.
