I also got a card. I never "bit" on this type of offer. Common sense tells me that it will wind up being more of a headache than it is worth. Face it, it's bait!

    got the same junk mail...

    "in celebration of our anniversary"

    number to call as 1-888-299-6003

from First Class Travel in Costa Mesa.

Remember my dad got a free trip to Florida in the 60's, but had to listen to a real estate presentation. Had to pay for airfare and it was a hassle, but at least 3 days were free hotel.

Just got one too that is a birthday postcard that says its from SouthWest for 2 free roundtrip airfares. There is a logo that says SOUTHWEST but no TM which the real southwest would never do, and a rasterized bad photo of a plane that doesn't show the company name. Now NO real airline martketing person would ever do that.

Don't call. Don't give any info

Just got a postcard from the 125 E Baker St address, saying in celebration of my birthday. Gives a number of 888-299-6004. The text of the postcard is confusing and not clear at all. Also says that Southwest Airlines are not affiliated with them , but a major supplier. This is going right into the trash.

My parents received one of these today.  They called, and are planning to go to the seminar tomorrow in Napa, CA.  They're both retired, and pretty steadfast in only going for a free trip.  Will update this after I hear about what they found.

Thank you all for your posts.  I just got a "Happy Birthday" card, too.  Says "US Airlines", which, as far as I can tell, doesn't exist (US Airways does).

I've been to several presentations for "vacation", i.e., time share presentations over the years.  I usually avoid the travel bonuses.  The legitimate ones that I've been to have also offered actual gifts, gift cards, etc., which I have actually walked out with - after sitting through a film and a hard sell (just say "NO").  I once got a travel gift (besides the others) and it turned out to have all kinds of restrictions, plus, you have to pay them the "tax" or a fee up front. Forget the Las Vegas offers - some of them are for buses and cheap motels.

Also, the legitimate ones have called or send a letter stating exactly who they are and what the deal is - that you have to sit through a 90 minute presentation for a time share.

I won't respond to this one.

Kevin, warn your parents.  Could be a huge waste of time.
