I receive the similar post card and they're fake.
You can tell by the way they were talking - not professional, laughing and joking in the background. Card said...
In Celebration of our anniversary... Two adult round trip to Hawaii.
Call 888-299-2010 from 1st class travel (125 E. Baker St. Costa Mesa, CA

Got a post card offering two free airline tickets and a free week of rental car if I would call 1-888-299-6004. How did they know I was about to have a birthday? I live in California, yet there is no California Travel Registration number on the card. The post card says US Airlines and Thrifty Car Rental (both without trademarks). There is no "US Airlines" (there is a US Air in black with the "lines" in red). Based on previous posts, I cancelled my 90 minute appointment (in Woodland Hills) to this likely scam. This Internet feedback system really works. Thanks!

If you wish to read the complaints, use the name First Class Travel at the Better Business Bureau site (for LA and Orange Counties)

    http://www.la.bbb.org/Business-Report/Global- ... p-Corp-13144319

This is from the record for First Class Travel BEWARE!!!

Most complainants allege services and contracts are misrepresented, deceptive and misleading. Specifically, complainants allege they were to receive 2 free airline tickets to Hawaii or Las Vegas, all accommodations paid, if they attended a 90 minute presentation. After attending the presentation, customer’s allege they are unable to get the airline tickets and are told they will be responsible for taxes. Other complainants allege they receive harassing phone calls from collection agencies for services never rendered and already paid in full. The company responds to most complaints by advising complainants that all paperwork concerning their sales transaction was presented at the time of the sale. Most refund requests are denied based on the requests being received past the 7 days allowed in the contract. The company addresses complaints regarding inability to use promotional vacation certificates, by assisting the complainant in making travel arrangements, or offering clarification on the terms of their travel certificates. Allegations concerning verbal misrepresentations are generally not addressed.

I got the same "Happy Birthday" postcard. I know that travel companies don't just give away free round trip arifare for two so I thought I'd check online and found you all. Mine did not note my correct birthday, but it was close by a month. It offered two roundtrip airfares to anywhere in the US and the potential of a free 7 day car rental. Airfare on US Airlines and Thrifty Car Rental.

Total scam. How did I get on this cruddy list?

Same "business" in Costa Mesa - 1st Class Travel and there is no listing for them.

Just wanted to let you all know I actually went to the "Presentation" and I can confirm that it is, in fact, a scam.  The lure of the "complimentary airfare to Hawaii with two nights accommodation" is what go me there. It is basically a outdated sales scheme to get people to pay for points that will allow them lower rates at various resorts to major vacation spots.  So basically you are paying $12,000-$15,000 just to get the points.  But that's not all!  You still have to pay an additional $164-$189 for a week's stay at that resort.  And that is still not all!  You also have to pay HOA dues or home owners dues (even though you don't actually own anything) of up to $500 a year.  But don't worry because there are also add ons like if you only wanted to do a couple of days, then you don't have to use your points and only pay $35 a night at wherever.  I started to get confused after that but there were other options as well.  So, my husband and I got through the sales pitch safely (think used car salesman in a Hawaiian shirt with loud music and balloons all around you trying to convince you that the lemon of a car you are looking at is the way to go). They showed us where we could pick up our free gifts, we were given a "voucher" for the Hawaii trip and some "vouchers" for  Vegas accommodations and some free buffet and show stuff.  My husband read the Hawaii information on the way home and one section in the small print said, "Additional security and/or fuel surcharges may be imposed without notice and will be paid prior to travel."  So, basically they can charge you whatever they want under those guidelines.
Long store short.  If you want cheap travel look online.  That's your best deal.  This is a big time scam!!!

They have expanded to Pasco, WA and are called Sun Trips (B- rating by the Better Business Bureau) - same pitch - fly A US Airline. You can have a $300 merchandise rebate if you call within 72 hours: 1-866-835-8127 (if you want to take my place). Call quickly because you get a $300 merchandise rebate certificate if you get to them in the next 72 hours. And by the way, a 90 minute sales presentation for travel membership is required and you must give them $9.95 for rebate processing. I guess that's where the credit card number comes in.

I received the postcard from 1st class travel in Costa Mesa for free tickets to Hawaii.  I was suspicious so I googled them and couldn’t find a company by that name in Costa Mesa.  I then noticed that on the post card it said “US AIRLINES”, There is no such airline!  Do not be fooled!!!!  Don’t even bother calling the number or if you do, just do it to tell them to “F” off!

I received the same" in celebration of your birthday" card claiming that "you will receive two roundtrip airfares within the continental u.s." also states"our records indicate that if you respond within 48 hours you will also receive a complimenary 7 day car rental" Nowhere does it state that conditions apply.. No small print or anything. This timeshare scam qualifies as fraud. ILLEGAL is the bottom line!
