- Total scam replies to John MooreJust got the same card in the mail - for American Airlines. Thanks everyone for checking into this.
- DaveMy parents also received the same thing with the new number posted by Frank 888-299-1511. I thought it looked odd, thanks for looking out indeed.
- JPRI got a call and they told me I was one of the 1st callers. I have an appointment on Friday but will not go now. Has anyone gone to the presentation and can they tell me what they have found out.
JPR - ERMy husband just got a birthday card in the mail from this outfit, 1st Class Travel, with a poorly designed "US Airlines" logo at the top and an authentic looking Thrifty Car Rental logo at the bottom and the same message as others reported to call a number to get two roundtrip airline tickets. I'm glad I checked online here, I thought it was a scam. We got ripped off by another travel agency in Florida 15 years ago when they went out of business and lost $600 so we are very wary about any offer that looks too good to be true.

- m.e.Suzie on X1003 or Victoria are telemarketers. did not attend seminar w/ husband (reqd)...offered vegas 2 nights w/dinner/show and 2 rt continental tickets w/ 7 week rental-- JUST for 90 min attendance at their travel/timeshare program w/ "NO PRESSURE"...but required credit card/check to attend. must pay taxes only for rental/flights (estimated $50pp and $75 for rental car). Victoria said "thousands" of happy customers that got the free travel tickets/rental/hotel DESPITE not signing up for their program. Did ANYONE actually ATTEND seminar, not BUY, and get any benefit at ALL?

- Cautious! replies to Xuxa| 1 replyI just called a similar number from my happy Birthday postcard - 1-888-277-2089.
Spoke with tony. To receive free offer, they require attendance to attend a 90 minute seminar put on by Global Exchange Vacations - my seminar would be held at a showroom on Th. or Friday in garden Grove. Qualifying info was standard: single or married; asked if income was 50K or more.
Catch: After attending seminar, they do not actually give you a voucher for tickets, but you are requested to complete a mail-in form along with travel plans, and you are told you will recieve your airline voucher/tickets in about 3 more weeks.
company names worth checking out on this offer are 1st Class Travel, Holiday Travel and Global Exchange Vacations. Seem to all base out of Costa Mesa CA 92626. - Linda J. replies to Xuxa| 13 repliesIm very happy with First Class Travel. I was called and told that i won an all inclusive cruise to the bahama's and vacation in daytona and ft.lauderdale. Everything they told me on the phone was all true. They recorde the whole conversation. Maybe some phone calls you get our scams but first class travel is 100% about everything they say.
- MartinJust got the Birthday scam too! They are in West Palm Beach, FL, same phone# 888-472-8026. It is a SCAM, don't believe them! Operator says I will need to attend a 90-minute Open House tour with "no strings attached." And, everything is in writing. I wonder if US Airline and Thrifty Car Rental is in on the scam??? - rainywe got the same card saying that my mom won two round trip tickets to Hawaii, in celebration of the anniversary! do they even have an anniversary? we all thought that this postcard was ridiculous and hilarious, the fact that they said THIS OFFER IS REAL, AND IS NO MISTAKE was pretty pathetic. thanx for all of your opinions :)
- Susie replies to sabI received a postcard as well telling me I won 2 ticket to Hawaii, someone has to report them this is a scam.
- Milly replies to Xuxa| 1 replyI received the same card, my does not list a specific Airline, just US Airlines, I do believe this is a scam,
- D replies to MillyI too received a postcard offering a Hawaiian Holiday and told to call 1-888-299-3533. US Airlines is indicated. Has anyone reported this to the authorities or CBS, ABC or NBC news?
- Billy replies to Linda J.I also got a postcard from them mine lists US Airlines on it, by the way they are not located in Costa Mesa, but in Florida, don't call them and give them your credit card or bank information. This is a scam

Seemed fishy. The number on mine is different 888-472-8030 but same Costa Mesa 'business' 1st Class Travel.
If it seems to good to be true it usually is.
How do they know when our birthdays are though yikes. - Yeah right! replies to Linda J.| 1 replySo did you take this great free vacation? Or are you commenting based on what they told you?
- LoisReceived the birthday post card and called. Had the same result as others above. I asked them to remove me from their mailing list.
- Mr. Bowie replies to Cautious!I received the card. I knew it was a fraud or some kind of bait and switch....and certainly NOT legit. But I called because it irked me being that I am a travel agent and this kind of b.s. does not sit well with me. I played along really wanting to take the trip and then I got the run around....first I'm not what they are looking for and I told them I make under 50k....that's when I got the back pedaling. Finally the guy just hung up on me! I just want to know where I can report this sort of scam. I know it is baloney and don't think they should get away with it. There are some people who could fall for it. FYI the number on my card was 888-277-2089....and no listing for a 1st Class Travel in Costa Mes.
