Getting unwanted phone calls from the phone number that justs says to call them without telling me why.

Please stop calling this center. The person you are trying to reach does not work here!

I called them back to investigate further; turns out the person they were calling must have had my number before me and they were quick to acknowledge their mistake and told me they have removed the number from their file.  They also explained it would take around 24 hours and to dismiss any future calls.

They also allowed me to investigate the information they had in the file to confirm that it was just an old phone number and not an identity theft situation.

While inconvenient, they were professional;  Please don't call them looking for blood; they are people too.

866-318-6742 is this Richard Silver guy wanting me to call him back.  I don't think so.  You'll never get a penny from me douchbag.

How did these people get my number? I just got this phone, there must be some type of mistake. They left a message, it couldn't have been for me. They did not ask for me, however, they left a messy message. "Call this number back at once." Who are these people and what do they want?

I got a couple of calls from these guys a few months ago. I think they called three times and stopped. Then just yesterday, they called again. Ignoring them seems to work for me! But I'm going to check my credit reports now, just to be safe and make sure they're not messing me up.

BTW, why can't anyone spell legal on this site? Is it that hard of a word?

It seem they love to call and try to scam people with ether fake or misrepresent loan info.  Richard Silvers today, another name the next.  Number they used is 888-306-0530, they are using a auto dialer most likely, or a computer, to send the calls that is why there is no pick up.  Anyone know how to report this number to the communcation board?

No idea how they got my number its unlisted and never given out except to family overseas, but i recieved a call today, and i have no credit cards i havent had one since 2001 i refuse to use them ever.

i get the same call from this mr silver .It seems like alot of ppl are getting the same call from the sam guy. some one told me that he might be a fraud. that he just collect money .you guys are doing the right thing. ecnore his calls . dont ever give any info if you do have to pick up line 1888 306 0520 .

Received frequent calls from the company.  Not sure what they want as I have never been in default on any debts or credit cards.

Same problem. Automated call from "Richard Silver" couple of times a day asking to press a number or call him back at this number. I owe nothing so who knows who they're after. I'm not bothering to find out and am letting the answering machine screen it for now. Changed my phone number this year and let me tell you, you never know whose annoying friends, families or business dealings will pop out of the woodwork.

I so agree with you! In matter of few days, they left at least 20 voicemails on my phone. When I called to see what this is in regards to, they kept saying that they're looking for some Samed guy. When I explained to them, that I dont know anybody by that name, and asked them how did they get my number, they told me that ''it's none of my business''. How RUDE! They have right to harass me for no reason, and yet I dont have right to know why. After that, the rep hung up on me! I decided to call back and complain about that rep's behavior, but I didnt have any luck as the next one was the same rude, bad mannered jerk! This people/collection agency has to be legally punished! I'd like to know if there's any way how we can report them to someone???
