It is you who must "take the needed steps to have these calls stopped immediately". Dumping your complaint on a web page your caller *does not control* and likely never reads is not getting the job done.

If you've gone "several weeks" and not seen a dunning letter, LERS must be skip tracing for someone else. LERS will be motivated to keep pelting you until *you give direct notice* to end the calls. My advice for "not me" cases is found here:

Well, you got one out of three proper complaint venues. The FCC has almost no jurisdiction, and the Executive branch of government is not a business regulator. File complaints with the CFPB, FTC, and attorneys general. If you have evidence of FDCPA violations, sue LERS yourself.

Prayer is not a strategy. Joblessness is not a defense. "Harassment" is a very subjective state and not an easy legal claim. You're least likely to win that one if you've never *told LERS directly* what will make you happy. You can't just sit still and hope the storm passes. You must act if you want change. State and federal laws are in place to help you.

I get as many as 14 calls per day.  I have caller Id and this number is blocked so I can check the log of calls.
This is a debt collection company out of Chicago. Leading Edge,  I owe no one.

We were given this number when we moved and it had belonged to someone with legitimate, unpaid debt.  After some research I have been able to discover the name of these people.  Being a collection agency I would think you would be able to find this information and their new number.  We have no debt.

My husband rec'd a call  - he is not answering his phone as he has terminal cancer.  It is for card debt from over 10 yrs ago- hasn't been able to pay due to illness and he is not working.  I called and advised he will not answer nor text as unable to do so.  They wanted POA from me which I will not provide as we are dealing with mounting medical bills and I'm not going to be responsible for the debts at this point as unable to do so.
They can call all they want but it wll not change the situation here. I am not responding to them in writing or email as I am not going to have them hound me as well.  Will be seeking legal counsel to get them to cease.

I keep getting a call from this # on a daily basis.  I emailed them last week to see what they wanted and so far I haven't gotten a response.  When they left message about a debt collector, I know they are not looking for me since I pay all my bills and leave no balance on anything, including my credit card.

Got a call Fri, 5 Sep from this # at 11:29 a.m. again on Thur, 11 Sep 4:12 p.m. again Tues, 9 Sep at 7:44 p.m. again Thur 18 Sep at 3:50 p.m. & 5:52 p.m.  They leave a msg about some debt collector.  I emailed them about 6 wks ago but I never did get a response.  I don't have any outstanding bills.

Got a call Thur, 25 Sep from this # at 12:48 p.m. Left msg about a debt collector.  Called again today at 6:42 p.m. with the same msg.  I emailed them about 7 wks ago & I haven't gotten any answer.

Got a call from thsi @ yesterday at 6:19 p.m.   No msg was left.

It's Leading Edge Recovery Solutions.  They have called every day.  The voicemail is recorded.  It does not say for WHOM is for or WHAT the matter is regarding.  I owe no debts.  Unless you call back, they do not give you an option is speak to an actual person.  This is an UNPROFESSIONAL company.  They can defend themselves on this website as much as they want but a professional company would include who they were looking for and what the matter is regarding. They would also have a REAL person speaking, not a recording. DO NOT ANSWER THIS NUMBER.  I will be filing a complaint with the BBB.  

these people keep calling my home phone. I never answer the phone when they call...never have answered when they started calling. funny though, when the answering machine picks up, they leave NO information as to whom they are attempting to reach...just the vague message that we are a debt collection agency. again funny that. I have NO credit cards, no outstanding warrants, etc...yet I am curious as to "why" they never leave a message requesting to speak to any specific person. when I place the call on conference and say nothing but just listen, there is that infamous pregnant pause on their end, and then they hang up. of course, they say nothing.
I have sent an email to their main "boss" of telemarketers at the Illinois address, yet again...funny that..NO RESPONESE back on my email to them. (I did interject the infamous buzz words of my contacting my states attorney general's fraud protection, my attorney and the BBB..still no word back, and gee. they seem to keep calling. do they have me scared? NO. BUT, I will continue to fight back.
oh, an interesting tid bit. the phone number they are calling is a number I have had for only two months. its a new number. ROBOCALL, much from these people?

Got a call from this # at 6:52 p.m .  left mesg about  a debt collector.  I don't owe anyone, I pay all my bills & on time.  They call constantly & always leave a msg about being a debt collector.

I have received multiple calls from this number stating they are a collections agency.  All of my accounts are current. Please help to stop this "company" from harassing other innocent people!  Thank you.

Instead of asking someone else to do something, how about you do something?  Make a complaint to your State Attorney General's Office and to the CFPB here:  http://www.consumerfinance.gov/
After all you received the call and you have the most information on these criminals.

Stop calling our number!!!  You call at least once a day and never even leave a message!  You would think that when no none answers or hangs up on you, that you would get the hint.  Now STOP CALLING or I will take the next step

call several times a day for weeks leaving number to call back. Have not called back but have answered and no one there just robo caller. Say they are calling for collection of debt. I owe no one. Is there any action that can be taken against them?
