I   pray  the stop calling me   everyday   I  been  laid off  from my job  every  since  2008   I  do  not  have money  coming in  this  is a harassment  call  and it is Illegal for them to keep  calling  you can not  get  blood from a turnip  

LERS left a message for us to call back. I called back and LERS wanted someone who did not live with me. LERS claimed they will remove my phone number from their database.

A single bill collector called me over a dozen times to leave messages for and to locate just one of my employer's customers. The joys of being required to use your personal cell for an employer's business...

Did they actually remove your number?

I need  these  people to stop calling me  I   am   a senior citizen   and I am  not  working  I  do not have money coming in they call me every day  I do  not  have any money  coming in at all

These low life [***] won't stop calling my home, fax and cell up to 8x a day.  NEVER a "human" ALWAYS a robo call!  I don't know neither do i care who they are calling for, but IT ISN'T ME!  STOP CALLING ME!  I have filed suit against "recovery companies" before and always won.  I won't back down!

Supposedly calling for a "Linda Paul."  Uhm, never had this # in many many years and IDK who that is!  IF you call them back, NEVER use the 1-888/800/866 #s as that CAN and WILL trace where you are calling from (as they pay for the call and have the "right to know" who is calling them.  Use a Google #.  

"You cannot serve two masters" any more than you can owe the same debt in two directions. LVNV/Sherman Financial is a debt buyer which has trafficked in old Sears Credit accounts. The likely story is that Cookie's alleged debt *originated* with Sears and LVNV bought it. Assuming Cookie did not misunderstand what LERS reps claimed, those utterings could well have been misleading enough to create FDCPA violations.

Another example of how not to respond to debt collectors. Your callers do not maintain this site or this web page. Your callers cannot magically determine which numbers should not be called based on anonymous comments. You cannot expect compliance with your orders until, if possible, you deliver them *directly* to your caller.

Lack of income or assets is not a defense. Everyone has a right to limit or ban all phone contact from third party collectors just for the asking.

This so scared how these guys can retrieve your credit info and use it against you for the wrong reason I fine that our credit beaus have let us down .and these fly bye night collection agency's want too mess with good people who pay there bills.what has really happen here is the out sourcing has start to terrorizing us here in the u.s we as Americans need to wake up, there is so much craziness in this world as far as me iam going to report this too the FCC,attorney general heck I might write president for this madness to stop.

I got a call from this # yesteday at 8:12 p.m.  They left msg that they are a debt collectior.  They never asked for a particular person.  I've gotten many calls before.  I don't owe any bills & I pay my credit card off each month.

Quit calling, and send me something in the mail, and then I will call you.  Do not owe anyone, so put it in writing.

I would like for my phone number, an all these harassing calls to STOP! I don't know how you got my number.  I furthermore don't have any clue to why you all keep ringing my phone off the hook.  Im not who you keep saying i am. So enough is enough.. I will get in touch with my lawyer over this rudeness. He will be in touch with your scammed issues ASAP !!

I am receiving calls from your company at me home number, [removed]. I do not now and have never had reason to be called by a debt collector. Please take the needed steps to have these calls stopped immediately. They have been occurring regularly for several weeks and have become a very annoying nuisance. The calls identify themselves as being from Leading Edge Recovery Company.

By all means, ignore misfired pleas like yours on this same page, and suffer yet more LERS calls ....
