- Steve replies to Anti-Telemarketing ManDISH1UP hires contractor's in turn that hires Installer of Satellite Service that doe's the work.
The DISH1Up contractor is company called FIBER1COMM owner (Robert Mitchell)
So this company Fiber1comm owes me from October 2009 to December 2009 a Total of 7 jobs that TOTAL out to be $645.00 and getting Lies and the run around from both company.
Only way I can contact this Robert Mitchell is though Alisha @ dish1up as I send him and her my request for my money that owe to me for along time!
Robert tells Alisha and me that he will Pay me and that was 4 weeks ago.
Robert Mitchell is low down Lair and ripoff.
DISH1UP this is your conman and should ether make him by holding is money or DISH1UP you pay me my money $645.00 as I believe this Ripoff will no pay as you can see your self Alisha.
Its been to long and to many lies. I will seek other ways to bring this FIBER1COMM down and will let the customers know what these company's are really like.
As I will be setting contractor leads against the home owner that I have installed with my Equipment on there property. - KerryI received a call from an installed letting me know he was running a little late.
The thing is, I already have DirectTV and never ordered Dish network. I told the installer there must have been a mistake since I never ordered Dish TV. After we hung up, he called me back and gave me this number 800-333-3474 to call since he said I should talk with them to make sure there were no billing issues, etc.
I'm not sure if this is real, a scam or what.
I'm calling the main Dish number 1.800.823.4929 that is on their website to report this.- Caller: Dish Netowrk

- clefa| 3 repliesit was your fault you didn't pay attention to what number you were dialing. . . it was also your fault for giving up any personal information before you found out WHO you were giving it to. . . and it was also your fault you didn't take the time listen to what the person on the other end of the line said!!! there is nothing illegal about this number - and good for them!!! it is sometimes nice to accidentally find a better deal than the one you have - especially when you were never looking in the first place. . . i know it was for me. . .

- UNKNOWNThey withdrew two payments of $40.00 from my account without my knownledge and when i called the real Dish Network, they would not credit my account back because it was not the real Direct TV.
- Michael replies to frank jThey have no affiliation with Dish Network. If they told you that you got any type of credit or any promotions, they lied to you.
- Whofoolingwho| 2 repliesFirst of all this is not an DIRECTTV company it is a company (DISH!UP) that purchases DIRECTTV sateliites and install them.
I got a job recently for Dish1up in Cleveland, Ohio. The one that is located in the Penton Bldg downtown cleveland. I left the interview feeling like something was not right. Mike the interviewer told me that I needed to be in training that following Monday.
When I got to the training which I arrived there 15 mins early and they traning Patrick arrived 15 mins late. When I took a look around and seen that everyone who came in that day for the interview was in the training class I knew something was wrong.
The thing that threw me was when he basically told us we are at are own risk if we wanted to sign up for the health insurance that was being offered by the company. Next was the lack of professionalism everyone had around there he had an assistant that kept interupting the class for silly things like her boobs..I guess her stripping career did not go so well and she ended up at this lame company.
Patrick the trainer told us to review this so called script they handed to us and we needed to read from that when speaking to a customer and not sway from it. The next day we had a test over the phone where the guy Mike pretended to be a customer and we were to read from the script if not we were sent home and could not work for the company. Lets just say my 7 year old would of passed this test.
See, we are not supposed to be thinking or have a brain to work for this company so when a few of us from the training class got to talking about the pay and how much they were going to pay us seemed like a scan.
Here it goes they start you out at $8 an hour with comission which means if you sell DirectTV you get $3 per each DirectTV contract that the customer agrees to the contract. Now after 90 days they pay you $12 hour. That is when some of us with a brain said that is such a pay increase why would they increase your pay $4 more in 90 days. Well because no one stays with the company that long.
The next part is they company does not keep anyone there for an 8 hour shift. A customer has to agree to the contract in the first 30 calls that a representative gets if not that representative is taken off the phone to cold call customers and tricking them into signing a warrenty, ADT contract or Huges Net Contract. If that representative does not do that in the within the next 30 calls he or she makes they are sent home for the day and lose there next commission pay.
Thought that was it oh no it gets better Patrick informed us that we only get 80% of our check they keep 20% for customers who calls and cancel there contracts....He did not have to say one more word before half of the training class got there things and left.
I had the pleasure when walking out to talk to a lady who was just let go from the company and had only worked there for 3 weeks. She said the company is a huge scam and they scam here out of her first pay check. I just was so thankful that I didn't stay that long.- Caller: Dish1up

- AlleyI called Dish Network to change my service to a new location because I am selling my home. When I asked about Internet service they gave me 1-888-333-3474. In calling this number I was advised that this is not Dish Network, but it is Wild Blue. Their lowest plan for internet service was $49.99. The individual I spoke to told me they would have to put another receiver and dish on my new home. What a crock. I felt that I was being talked into something I did not want. After all, who wants to have 2 dishes on their home. Dish Network Does Not Have High Speed Internet Service. Be sure to check all information about services available before making a decision. I found this page after I typed in the 1-888-333-3474 in my web search page.

- DISH Customer| 1 replyLast night, I called (I thought) DISH b/c I had a message that my payment had not been received. I dialed 1-888-333-DISH. A man answered, talking very quickly, and said, "Yes, I can help you." Then, after asking for my zip code, he said something along the lines of, "I can offer you a great deal on DirectTV." When I asked, "Did you just try to get me to switch from DISH to Direct?" he responded honestly with, "Yes." I was confused and thought that he had somehow had my DISH call redirected to him. He continued to try to get me to switch, very pushy, until I hung up on him. He also tried to sell a security system and intenet. Again, I wasn't on the phone with him more than 3 minutes -- he talks VERY fast. I didn't switch. I am actually relieved to hear that this is a "legit" compnay (or, legit-ish??). I am satisfied with DISH. If I'd wanted DirectTV, I'd have gotten that to start with.

- Jackie Bwas given this number by a friend to reactivate the dish network dish at their vacation home. The idiots on the phone were super pushy about selling me security for the home and insurance, and were vehement about me asking for dish network's real number. Really useless bunch of people no idea what company they actually work for.
- Mike turntine replies to clefa| 2 repliesi called this number on accident. it was clearly not dish network as Dish network is extremely professional, and always answers with an automated call. the rude idiot i spoke to on this number wanted to pick a fight and wouldnt be able to hold a job at dish network. if they offer better deals, it wouldnt be worth it because the service sucks.

- Fell for their trickDont call this number by accident. Make sure you get the Dish Number from the official website. You will be charged more fees like I did. Like most of the posts say they make themselves known by IDish so you wont know your calling the wrong dish number. Get more fees than if you had called Dish. They sign you up for MyTechHelp that is supposedly free for 30 days but they still charge you in your first bank account charge.
You talk to Dish and they tell you they only took out one charge out of all the three charges. The other two are from this third party. They steal your money.(fifty dollars plus 10 for my tech)
Call the third party back and they say they cannot give you your money back because they told you about the charge that you thought it was for DISH not IDISH. You tell them how come they don't tell you the truth that they are not the real DISH and they say "We wouldn't have our business." I say your business of stealing money from people.
Its best to call your bank account and file a fraud claim on them and get a new bank card so they wont keep on charging into your card.
PLEASE DONT CALL THIS NUMBER 1-888-333-3474!!! :(- Caller: Stealing your money
- Kohesion replies to WhofoolingwhoI so wish I would have read this post prior to accepting this job and leaving my permanent position. I knew something was off too when I went through the interview process in 5 minutes which was the quickest interview ever. They didn't let you ask a lot of questions but made it seem like it was a legit job by offering $12 plus commission. Training was only two days and they certainly did not inform us if we did not produce a sale within 25 calls we would be sent home early nor if we didn't meet their personality criterior we would be let go. I made them 2 sales my first day on the phone, but was pulled into the office Friday of that same week letting me know they were letting me go because I wasn't aggressive enough. Also that they let go of the hr person who hired me because she was hiring individuals based on her personaliy type. I really hope this company is exposed because their whole method of doing business is misleading, and I think somethings may be illegal as well.
