called pretending to be dish network but was actually a retail company that wanted to charge to set up appt for free dish equipment upgrade

I got a call from this number as well and all they said was 'HOLA' 'HOLA (Hello in spanish) I thought someone was trying to play me a joke. Hung up and then called back and it's an answering system saying "Thank you for calling dish"

Did they use your social in any way or did they buy anything?

Horrible and sad they they call me.   What a waste of time.   They should be hund from the highest tree.

This was a fraudulent call from a call center. they were claiming to be from Dish Network. on the caller ID of my phone it said Dish Purchase Corp. They tried to get my Social Security number and my credit card number to upgrade my dish receiver. Then I knew it was fraud and hung up

Keep getting numerous calls from this number I finally answered & told them to STOP calling our house. the person on other ends speaks with middle eastern accent. Said he was with Dish tv. Its harrassment and annoying-Why can't a home phone have a reject list like cell phones? when does constant calling ever stop?  WHY do we can't we do something about this?

My mom passed, and account was close, and they still keep calling her number  EVERY DAY! She doesn't have no outstanding bills, they just want her to rejoin. This is immorally ridiculous, and far from being ethical!

This is NOT Dish Network. DishNetwork's number is 800-333-3474.  I don't answer unknown numbers, let them go to voicemail.  They hung up when voicemail activated.  Blocking number!!

Claiming Direct TV

I was called told I would need a update to my service receiver I told him I had directv he said that's who called. I started to do what he said with receiver he said it would be 185 dollars to compel then he messed up my remote it doesn't work so I called directv they said it wasn't them they would never ask for extra money to upgrade glad I called directv before I paid they said this is a scam

I got this number like 5 times I told them no but they call me like 4 more times I give them The same answer and they still ring and so I was very furious towards that scammer and he questioned me and he said “why do you screaming at me sir “ because I was very very angry and said a lot of f-bombs and I told him I don’t trust scammers and especially from India then he told me he was in the FBI and I told him is you going to be a USA citizen to be a FBI agent then he cursed at me then I told him is “are you going to scam the people who survive the crisis of covid19 “ but he said to me is “sir their is no covid19 but only of your stupidity sir “

Our Landline's attached device, a "CPR V10000 Call Blocker" (Whitelist Mode), silently BLOCKS these unwanted nuisense callers.
Various info sources reveal this Caller as: "UNLISTED", "SPAM - Telemarketer - Robo Call".

I got a call from this number asking me if I had a satellite - I played dumb - answering questions with questions, avoiding saying anything that could sound affirmative. They told me my satellite hardware was not compatible with the new satellite. I kept up the dumb act until they hanged up.

Indian speaking man said he was from Dish TV and that my dish receiver is a very old model and it needed to be swapped out for a newer one. I told him I was aware of the scam. He claimed that this wasn't a scam and that a real Dish tech would come out "in uniform and everything" to swap it out. Told him that would be fine since I'm at home quarantining. He quickly said, "have a nice day" and hung up.

Call ID only showed Toll Free Call and the above number.

this is a scam dont give your info to them. if you have issues please contact DirectTV or Dish directly!

Man with a very very heavy Indian accent. Asked him twice what company he represented and still could not understand him. Told him this was more than likely a scam of some kind and I am not interested in anything he has to say. His response was "Uh okay". So sick of these bottom feeder low life idiot morons trying to perpetrate a fraud!

I blocked them, any number with that sort of sequence is usually up to no good
