I have been receiving his call for a while now...They tell me they are from Rogers and are offering me a TERRIFIC promotion for switching to Rogers (I am already a Rogers customer). I usually just tell them where to go, but I decided to go along with it..They said to me "You are a Bell Canada customer, correct?"  I said no, but I am very interested in hearing your [***] scam...Hmmm, I wonder why they hung up on me...

BOGUS CALL-------------phone rang. I answered. .............pause then Hello-----
I said Hello, YES YOU CALL ME? they hung up................So (of course) a SCAM
CALL-----------I hate these "[***]"

These jerks called us at 5:00 in the morning!

As soon as the caller mentioned Direct TV, I told him I had an outdoor antenna. He said something else, and I replied, "yep 'yer done" and hung up. Dish or Direct, don't want either one

Someone from this number was offering a promotion from Rogers. Have seen this # on my phone several times and I was unable to find the source. No messages ever left - this time I answered.Person had a very heavy south asian accent. I already have a 2 year promotion from Rogers, so why are they calling again? I told him I already have a promotional offer from Rogers.He promptly hung up

Dish Network bought DirecTV out several years back, not long after PrimeStar went bust. The Federal government forced the two companies to stay separate due to monopoly (antitrust) concerns. This situation is pretty well known, actually. What irritates me the most is that neither Dish nor DirecTV has substantially changed their offerings or prices, and DirecTV's customer support is still sub-par from reports I have from DirecTV customers.

Just recently got notice from Dish themselves that my bill wasn't paid, so going to call their real number and deal with it.

855-531-3493 left msg on my cell saying call 800-333-3474 to confirm 4 Jun 16 appt w Dish  and svc would take 2 to 4 hrs.  Scam, not responding.

Called saying CRA and when I told him he was full of crap he told to me FO.

These people have tried to sell me a Rogers tv/net/phone bundle...(cable company in Canada), I told them I knew it was a scam and not to call me again...The same man called later last night and I simply said "what do you want", he said "to f@@@ me".  got another call this morning, and he hung up after only one ring on my phone.

Just got a call that had Caller ID from this number. It was a prank call from the "Treasury Department." During the message, they tell you to call 559-588-4751 in Earlmart, CA. Check out that number on 800 Notes and you can clearly see that this is a scam. Interesting that all of the other people who have been called from this number have related it to DISH.

They call my house 3-4 times a day

This number called me asked my name and age which i made up of course and he told me i think you are a very sexy girl and i dropped silent and he said hey and proceeded to say the same thing yet again. he sounded as if he was arabic or pakistani and many men talking in the backround.
