- RJW replies to sbcat| 1 replyWe have been getting calls as well - including an 8:00 AM call last Saturday asking for a wrong name. My wife and I have no credit problems, but they have been calling nearly every day this month leaving canned recordings. I intend to file a complaint on the do not call registry.
- RJW replies to RJWWell they called again while I was here tonight - 7:30 PM. There was a long long pause from when I answered. They asked for my wife's first name, and I asked who it was. The lady said Sharon. I asked what it was about, and she responded "it's a personal matter". I asked for the name again (last name) and she stated an incorrect name. I told her no one was here by that name and she claimed they would remove the number. I will hod my breath to see if they call back again tomorrow.
- eduardo| 1 replyThey asked you to call them. Let them answer, end, open, redial. It drives them nutts. They want you to call them right!

- frustrated replies to eduardoThey had me going. I agreed to pay but then I did some research. I called them back and asked them if they would send me something in the mail and then I'd take care of it and they wouldn't do that so the guy on the phone got really pissy and said that I'd have to pay the full amount but this debt I owe is from years ago, probably about 7-8 years ago and in my state it says that I do not have to pay it. If they try to get me for the full amount then I'm going to contact BBB and a lawyer. Obviously a scam because they refused to send me a letter and he hung up on me!
- Helen Chan replies to Owen| 16 repliesI've received a letter in my bf's name to my address, whom never lived here. It's a letter from ALW Sourcing, LLC, stating that he is owing $363.56, some past-due balance from Citibank. I checked my bf's credit report (which he has credit monitoring service with Equifax) and he didn't even has that credit card number ever since! I called this 888-379-4884 number and they verify my bf's account with his last 4 Social, and happen to be correct.. I believe they have these info so to make themselves look very 'official'. I told them that I'm gonna send this letter to my attorney and will sue them if necessary. ALWAYS CHECK YOUR OWN CREDIT REPORT BEFORE BELIEVING, AND SENDING MONEY TO THESE HEARTLESS COMPANIES!
- DetroitAreaSuburbALW Sourcing, LLC is part of the chain from Lane Bryant, World
Financial, NCO Portfolio Management, and AssetCare, Inc. Others,
under the NCO aegis, also seem involved. In essense, they trying to
collect on a old bill that Lane Bryant has sold to them that dates to
the year 2000. Repeated requests as to what was purchased, where
it was shipped, and why didn't I/we hear of this before 2008 are
never answered. Also, why our credit card wasn’t charged or a
personal check returned. After all, retailers usually have payment
in hand before any shipments make it out of their warehouse.
Amazingly, I have discovered that my family did move to Missouri
& then returned because 1 of their agents was quite surprised that
we would move back to the exact same address in Michigan. A
formal complaint was filed with our city police, but that's only
something 'to have on record'. Identity theft is suspected or a huge
record keeping problem at Lane Bryant had occurred. That will
never be discovered until someone on their end actually renounces
the doctrine of Lane Bryant infallibility. As to what you can do to
bring focus to this situation is a bit complex, but bear with me. 5
women were MURDERED at a Lane Bryant store in Tinley Park,
Illinois. A $100k reward was announced on Fox News in May of
last year. I am of the opinion that the killer is someone NCO &
Company pushed over the edge trying to collect a bogus bill.
His name is almost certain to appear in one of their Chicago area
‘deadbeat’ accounts. Tinley Park Police # 708-444-5394. If you
agree, give them a call. I have twice now. This may catch a killer
and if so, shine a great light on this entire situation. I have no
trouble sharing this reward or establishing a trust fund for the
children of the victims. To get them to cease & desist requires
court action on your end. Your local Consumers Protection
Agency can accept your complaint, but NCO’s apparent tactic
of selling your ‘paper’ amongst themselves sidesteps the legal
restraints Congress (Fed & State) has put upon them. Good Luck. - MichigantoHawaiiCalled my cell phone. This is a new number from February. I have not used this to open any accounts. Since I am currently paying my cc and car payments, there is no outstanding debt. My first response was, thankfully I have blocked all calls not in my contact list. Then I wondered who had this number before me??

- PaulaI've been getting this call lately too.
It was for my husband from PECO. (I know this because we got a letter from ALW a couple months ago: No details except a $amount, his name, and PECO.)
Apparently Peco showed that he owes money from a 15yr old electric bill from a house he moved out of 20 years ago!
He knows that he does not owe this money. In fact PECO called him on it when we moved to our new house 3 yrs ago when we went to transfer electrical service and he told them "No, I moved out of there over 20years ago, so it's not mine." They cleared it up and now ALW Sourcing is calling 3x per day. WTF???
We do not answer it!!
I see people on here are saying to report them to www.donotcall.gov
but I have to tell you, that will not work!!!
"Do not call" list DOES NOT APPLY to debt collection.
This is a zombie debt collector who buys your OLD debts (as much as 20years old) for .03 on the $, 1/2 the time it's not even a valid debt. It could be something you defaulted on 20yrs ago and then paid back 18 or 19yrs ago, but it's still floating around with the original creditor. They sell it to these zombie collectors because they buy a whole bunch of debts in bulk. Zombie collectors buy them because many people are basically gullible and fearful and will pay something just to shut them up!
The statute of limitations has expired!
Ignore them!

- MariahI have been being harrassed from them as well. I finally called them back to have them tell me that they were collecting for a credit card I have never owned. She refused to work with me until I verified my last four of my social and my birthdate. I refused to give them to her, asking for more information about their company. She tried to talk over me and argue with me repeating that she needed that information. I refused and asked her what I could do to stop the calls. She said they will no longer call. The whole thing was really strange and did not feel legit.

- MaLinda replies to KNJ| 1 replyYou may or may not want to speak to them. But if you do, do NOT give them any financial information as they will make promises and tell you that they will offer you a settlement and if you don't take it they will put bad information on your credit report and ruin your credit. They tried to tell me I had an outstanding debt from 1988 (21 years ago) Fortunately, I have prepaid legal so I called my attorney and he advised me that the statue of limitations had expired on that three times over. He was making a call on my behalf to ALW Sourcing and telling them to cease any and all collections on this.
www.snbconcepts.com - take a look at what prepaid legal has to offer, no one should be without it. - DMF - FLRings 5x hangs up. Calls around 8:30 am daily past week. I do no pick up unrecognozed numbers
- DeAirra replies to Helen Chan| 14 repliesFirst of all with this company I too had a bill from BOA (Bank of America) and they sent me proof and so did BOA. just because it does not show up on the credit report does not mean you owe it. The number one reason why you probably don't see it on your bf's report because it is probably past the SOL (Statue of Limitations) meaning it will not show because you are no longer obiligated to pay, but if any third party collections have an account that is out of SOL can make negative inquiries on your credit which will affected it. So before you go off saying negative things about the company do your reaserch.
- john guatethey say i owe money on anaccount we have settled back in 2000. and they keep calling and won't send any info that i ask for, i tell them i want to help unconditionally but they won't give me any info.

- Being harrassed in NCI don't have a message system and I don't respond to their calls. I just mute the ringer. But they call all the time. When I used to answer the phone for unknowns it was often for someone else, or someone who used to have this phone number, which is why I no longer respond.
