We get unwanted calls from this number. E.g., this morning, Nov. 6, 2010.

I owe no money. My name was confused with another person who apparently has debt. I have begged, pleaded, and asked VERY nicely for them to straighten this out. They told me this is my burden to prove I don't owe this money. How can I do this if I don't have any debt? The next time they call, I'm suing because I've had enough.
 So, yeah, they do call people who don't owe money you dumba**!

They receive awards because they are minorities, right?  The only reason I can see.  Some of you may think that comment is racist, but think about it,   do you see a company owned and ran by a bunch of white people getting awards?  Or bragging about being White "(minority) owned and operated"?  No you dont, and if there were such a company of white people, there would be race riots by blacks.  Who are the racists?

They have called me a few times asking for a number for my sister's ex-husband who lives in New Jersey.  How do I get them to stop?

We get repeated calls from this number, although we have no debts outstanding with anyone.

in your computer is your frend it is           FDCPA          look it up you will fiend a bunch of stuff in regard to your rights you will also find a templit for a cease and desist order follow the instructions it will at least slow them down be sure to dockument it for court save the recet you get from the post office. don't ever contact them via internet or you will never get rid of them.

Just received a call from this number, 888 379 4884, looking for my 2 people that know each other, but are not connected in any means (ie: married, bf/gf) ..  Spoke to a "Miss Nelson" - wouldn't tell me anything other than she was from ALW Sourcing..

I kee getting a call from 1-888-379-4884, and when I called them back they ask for somebody that I have no idea who they are.  They are calling me several times a day.

Try spell check and grammar once in a while.  Any old debt does not have any determination on your current credit score and junk debt cannot be collected on unless you pay on your own.  They have no leagl right to collect and are banking on people being ill informed and stupid. DeAirra is a liar in that the debt has been written off therefore there is no record of it and no company is going to send you proof of a debt they sold.Sounds like "IT" might work for one of the zombie debt collectors.

I rcvd the same call today.  They claim they are collecting on a medical debt from 2000.  It is 2011.  I told the person to send me anything and everything they have in writing.  They are really wicked-she offered a "settlement: amount.  I told her there was no way in hell theyd see a dime of my money on a supposed 11yr old debt

This needs to stop.  I am getting an average of 5 calls a week from this place.

I am going to start answering with a bull horn.  No mater how many times you tell them to stop, they don't.

Notice they did not include the amounts on the last 5 charities and NOTICE the dates of ALL their GIFTS, last quarter of 2007.  I can deduce that either they are NO LONGER "CHARITABLE" or business is down.  Could not happen to a nicer guy.  Good luck, the irony of his parents naming him after his life's path, BILL (collector).  LMAO!!!

Look up the rules for collection agencies (Fair Debt Collection Practices Act - you can find it as a downloadable PDF document).  Read Section 806. Harassment or Abuse.  The things listed under Section 806 are violations.  Paragraph (5) states "Causing a telephone to ring or engaging any person in telephone conversation repeatedly or continuously with intent to annoy, abuse, or harass any person at the called number."  I think ALW qualifies.  They never stop calling.  I used the phone company's call blocking feature on them.  When I later cleared the number, thinking foolishly that by now they would have gotten the message, the calls started again.

The next time they call you, report them to the Federal Trade Commission as being in violation of the rules for fair debt collection practices Section 806, subsection 5.

Received a call from this number. A recorded message said "hello", to which I replied "hello". It then said "good-bye" and hung up. I believe they are fishing by recording us over a number of different calls. They will then reassemble the recordings to make it sound like you confess to owe them money. I believe they also call posing as representatives from Bank of America to get information for their recordings.
