I keep seeing in these posts that it is a company called "Bill Me Later"  I never heard of them! Never used anything like that and don't owe anyone money.  Yet they keep calling.  I refuse to answer unless they'd leave a message.  Sounds like a scam me!

Many claim this is a Bill Me Later number.  I do not use this service and never have.  I would not give any information to this caller.

Calls several times a day and asks to speak to another name. Have told them they have the wrong number and they still call.

(888)393-7162 claimed to be BILL ME LATER. It is actually a phishing attempt. Someone trying to get you to give them your personal info and card information. Block this number. Report it everywhere

Bill Me Later is a division of Pay Pal.  If you have ever used Pay Pal on ebay, or any other site, and chose the option to
be billed later...well, that is what BILL ME LATER is..and that is why they are calling.  This number is legit, and Bill Me Later is legit.  They do not (as of yet) report to the credit bureaus..so, if you owe them money, just pay it...or pay them as little as you can.  It IS TIED TO PAY PAL.

I don't even know what billmelater is...so they shouldn't be calling me, but they are.  I suspect a scam.

I have been receiving calls from this number. When the call goes to voice mail they hang up. I called the number only to get an automated message to wait for the next available rep from "Bill Me Later". I hung up. I am not behind with any of my bills so I do not know why they are calling me.

This was Bill Me Later calling for *NewEgg*. Bill Me Later is the credit card provider for NewEgg and others. I had accidentally missed a payment. I do wish their system left a message since I let unknown numbers go to voice mail.

have no clue who they are they keep calling and not leaving a message. oh well btw I owe nobody anything! Everything I have is free and clear.

I received a call from 888-393-7162 @ 8:42 AM - Caller ID shows "Unavailable" The woman caller asked for my friend Jo. I told her she does not live here but I will give her a message if she would like.  The woman said yes, ask her to call "Bill me Later."
I said okay I will give her the message.

Received 3 calls this morning. No message left. I do have a Bill Me Later account but it is current. It shows up on my caller ID as "Ignore People 2(non blocking) which I thought was funny. I blocked them anyway

Our company does NOT use PayPal, that is who this # belongs to.......when I get hung up on by their "auto dialer", I called it back 3 days in a row.............each day "I cannot find your number in our system".....we have 3 and nobody can ever find any of the 3 numbers "in their system"......told them the next call will be to report them for harassment ....they call several times a day.....EVERY DAY!

they are not called to collect a debt, our company does NOT us paypal.....

the company i work for does not use paypay, yet they call several times a day, EVERY DAY!  they are not calling to collect a debt so as they may be a debt collector, they are also HARASSING TELEMARKETERS!

Well it looks as though BML has found my cell number - yes caller blocking is a cool feature. As for the bill ya I owed them a couple thousand and the Pay Pal took over and my bill suddenly doubled then tripled and now paypal is on my [***] list and ebay is soon to follow.

this number calls my cell phone every day starting in the morning, ending in the evening, over and over again.
I know a lot of people think it is "Bill Me Later", but one poster said he/she went to website, got the correct number, called the real BML and found out this number is not associated with them at all.  So they are lying evidently if they are claiming to be "Bill Me Later"......so don't give them ANY information, including your name!  Scammers......

PayPal Credit took over Bill Me Later sometime in late 2014. Since then fees have doubled as well as interest rates. If you speak to them, I would suggest you ask them to mail or email documentation that states you owe anything BEFORE you confirm any info over the phone. If it's legit, they will gladly send you the documentation and ask you to contact them when it's received. If they will not send info and demand payment, DO NOT CONFIRM ANYTHING OR GIVE THEM INFO! Once you say,  you owe them money or agree that there is a balance, they got you (remember the calls are recorded).

Nice to see you were able to get that far with someone, get to the bottom of this abominable septic tank level of customer service that BML sources out to god knows where...I despise companies that do this, no matter how reputable they 'appear'.

Humm... Well this is strange.  They just called my house, but left no message.  I do have a BIll Me Later (PayPal Credit account) that I have used occasionally when they have had 6 or 12 mos of no interest.  But right now my account has a $0.00 balance, and it has for about 5 months.
