- PookahCaller ID said Experian. Non-native speaker of English claiming to be from the "Savings Department" offering me some service where they would send me all my bank statements. I didn't feel like jerking her chain today, so I told her I couldn't understand her very well, but that I allowed no one but my bank to send me statements. She sounded genuinely disappointed.
- Caller: spoofed Experian
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- AnnoyedSame as other's experiences. Usual credit card interest rate scam. Called the actual Experian back to let them know. They're working on clamping down on whoever it is.

- RussIn my one and only dealing with Experian to date, I found their business practices to be extremely questionable. I did not know that this unfamiliar number was associated with them until I googled it, and I am glad that I did not answer the call.
- AnnoyedThis "888-397-3742" called my cell. I did not recognize the number, so I did not answer it. No voicemail message was left. It could very well be a legit phone number for a credit bureau or bank. I have no idea whether it is or not. However, even if that might be so, I WOULD NOT give out my personal info to anyone calling as phone numbers are easily SPOOFED. If one thinks their credit card company called them and they are concerned, then call the phone number on the back of the credit card. Whatever you do, DO NOT give out your personal info to someone who calls you. Scammers love to spoof phone numbers and pretend to be someone they are NOT.
