- Michele Lee| 1 replyI've been receiving calls from this number. They finally left a message about my c-pap supplies. I don't have a c-pap machine, so I called the number back to politely ask to be removed from their calling list. I received a message that I was calling the "C-pap supply center," and the wait time is more than 10 minutes to speak to someone...and there isn't an option to hit a # to opt out of automated calls. So they have plenty of time to keep calling my phone (yes, I realize it's automated), but not enough time to answer the calls when they come in. What were they going to do if I actually answered when they called on a number that doesn't come up with a company name associated with it? Just going to do the simple thing and block the number!!

If you can read rather than just commit drive-by postings, you'll see that (as of present) the answer to your question appears to be at the top of the page on which you posted. - Mad As Heqq replies to WhatADoucheAhhh, I see that you are one of those people who believe that all insurance companies are in business for altruistic reasons. I do not think so. They are in business to make a profit for their shareholders, or to reduce costs for their members as in mutual insurance carriers. Profits are needed to keep a business running, yes. But when the government is the final funder, the bean counters, will figure out a way to get more, all legal of course, because they get the lawyers and MBA types to invent new ways to skin the gobmint and incidently you and me as taxpayers.
I can speak to this because before retirement, I did that at one time. You insuranceo find the most profitable or cost saving rule or regulation, all of it fully legal. As my Tax Professor used say, "Tax evasion is illegal, tax avoidance is an American Way
By the way, if an advertisement says AT LITTLE OR NO COST TO YOU, think about it seiously. My last set of CPAP hoses and mask was billed at 800.00 or so. my old insurance had a contract amount of 160.00 or so. I paid a copay of about 32.00. So, who was ripping off whom? - spammerslammerYet another scamster that calls and leaves no message.

- DoneineAlthough Lincare is a valid CPAP supplier company, after the issues that I've had, I do not believe that this # (888-544-2715) actually belongs to Lincare. I Googled this # to see if this was still a valid # and saw tons of posts re: complaints for SPAM, unidentified #'s, etc. so I called Wellstar and got a direct # for Lincare which for the Marietta, GA area is 770-425-1229. When I tried to order my husbands supplies, they advised me that my husband's account had been marked INACTIVE for non-compliance. They said I hadn't ordered from them for over 13 mos. I advised that I'd ordered in both Oct 2014 and Mar 2014. That's when I remembered that I got a call asking if I needed supplies. Mind you, I DID get those supplies, but they did NOT come from Lincare. There was some other name on the bill: Adult & Ped Specialists. I thought it odd, but Lincare has changed names before so I just paid the bill. Now I realize that this other company claimed to be Lincare and solicited my business.

- GaryRegularly getting calls from this number. It is an automated call with a recording that says, "This is a freindly reminder from your medical supply company, to inform you that your supplies are ready to be ordered. Please call (the above number) to order your supplies". I know this is probably Lincare, as many of the posts here mention. I bought some CPAP supplies from them recently and they want to sell me more. But I never answer calls from 800 numbers.
- Caller: No name appears on caller ID
- It's just a phone call. This is Lincares CPAP devision/reorder center. From how it was explained to me, the reason it does not show a business name on the caller ID as they oversee several different companies and if they stick to the name LINCARE, it tends to cause more confusion and suspicion than there is worth. I Programmed the number in my phone. Simple. If you do not want their calls, they can remove you from their system if that is what Is desired. And that way you can just call on when you need something. They also have texting and email options If you don't enjoy calls from an 800 number. Hope this helps.

- CarolI told LinCare months ago that my husband was deceased and that a representative from their company picked up all equipment in January. Why are they still calling to see if my deceased husband needs any supplies?
- Granny Shanny replies to WhatADoucheI don't know if they're scamming or not, but I know they are disturbing my peace and quiet with their constant calling, so I have blocked their number on my phone. I have a contact at a local small town pharmacy that handles all of my medical equipment and pharmaceutical needs, and I don't need Lincare calling me every other day just to tell my CPAP supplies are ready to be ordered. I've been on CPAP for many years, and when I need supplies, I will damn well initiate the call - I'm an intelligent well-educated adult and I strap on that mask every day of my life so I KNOW when I need new cushions or filters or headgear or hoses.
When did we turn into a nanny society? I've been managing my own life for 52 years since I graduated from high school and left my parents' home. I can make the decision what equipment I need and make the call myself. - anonymous replies to BarbThey prefer Medicare pts. So your wrong
- Jane N,I got a call but no one was on the line and they left no message. Very annoying.
- Susanne replies to W.R.GrittonLOL! There's not a soul on this site that can make them stop calling.
- Katy Williamson replies to PuzzledC-Paps are not the only supplies they have. Back braces, leg braces, ankle braces/stabilizers, wrist braces/stabilizers, nebulizers, Bi-Paps, all kinds of medical equipment one might need. They bought out High-Tech Medical Supplies earlier this year and have called me twice saying they wanted to make sure I knew what my benefits are according to my insurance. First call, I let the woman know that I know exactly what TriCare allows and doesn't allow. The second call, I told the woman that things had changed and that I no longer needed their services as I now get all of my supplies free from the VA. She said she would remove my name from their calling list. We'll see. If I do get another call, I'll just go to their Marietta, GA location and deal with them in person. It's only a 10 minute drive for me.
- Joseph Daniels replies to Michele LeeYou can email them at: 1info@lincare.com Worked for me. Haven't heard from them in 8 months.

- Kaitlyn S.Called to say they wanted my permission to have them contact my husband monthly to see what supplies he might need. Told them my husband died 14 months ago and that the stuff he used to have had been given away. Man told me I couldn't do that because the equipment belonged to them. I told him that we had PAID for that stuff IN FULL and that according to Blue Cross, WE owned it. I made sure of that before I gave it away. Guy told me they would be taking legal action for theft. I told him to go right ahead and gave him the number of my attorney. Told him that from now on they could communicate through her. That was 4 months ago. Haven't heard a peep from them since. I did inform my attorney of the threat, and she's ready for when and IF these morons start any s**t.

- MarcusI did business with Lincare for years and use to get automated calls from this number. This past April when I called to order supplies I was told that since I didn't order supplies often enough, my account is inactive and I have to activate the account. The guy still put in the order for supplies however he told me until my account is activated he cannot ship them. After waiting on hold for over an hour and being repeatedly transferred to another department I gave up and called my doctor to refer me to another company. I am now ordering from this company but in June my supplies that I ordered from Lincare in April suddenly showed up and apparently they automatically reactivated me since I never called back. Now I am getting calls from this number quite often when I no longer do business with them and tried to send the supplies back since I was going with a new provider. First it was once a week that they would call and leave a message that "my supplies are ready to order" since I have it set to send the call straight to voice mail. I though that since I never returned their calls that they would get the message but now I just got one a few minutes ago and they are now calling me every other day asking me to call back to order supplies. How do I stop them when I no longer even do business with them and have another provider that is able to ship supplies much quicker than Lincare and I was under the impression that the order I placed in April that arrived in June would be canceled since I never bothered to call them again to activate my account. They activated my account realizing that I wasn't going to call them and since it had been a few months since I tried to order parts, they probably know I went with someone else. They also know because I kept trying to call to return the supplies and have them reverse the charges to my health insurance company.
