It is Lincare.  Unless your voicemail identifies you by name I do not believe they can leave a message due to HIPPA regulations.  If they leave a voicemail and you are not the intended party, then they may technically be violating HIPPA.

I am not an attorney, but I do know when I got my CPAP the representative told me they would call every month to see if I needed supplies.  So it was to be expected in my case.  Maybe the initial representatives your dealing with did not explain everything to you.

Yes everyone this is Lincare, and they are a very good company.  They deal with sleep apea equipment.  If they call you for any other reason, then i do not know why........they handle only CPAP equipment.

My husband and I both have CPAPs from Lincare and I have oxygen.  However, when I get calls it is usually from another number which identifies it as Lincare and if I'm not home, they leave a message.  I keep getting calls from 888-544-2175, do not answer, and they leave no message.  Calls are usually 10 minutes apart.  Will not answer from this number.  Besides, if I need supplies, I will call them.

You're an idiot! I bet you are one of those people who can never be pleased and fly off the handle at any little mistake anyone makes. So now this company is an insurance billing scam because they didn't satisfy your needs.  Get a life! This company supplies medical supplies to people who need them and if they were scamming insurance companies I guarantee the insurance companies would catch on real fast. I've been satisfied with the above and beyond service they have given me and I haven't been ripped off or harassed.

You sound like the idiot scammer, because this web site must be making it hard for you to trick people out of money on the phone. Thanks for letting us know it's working!

Now you better get back to the boiler room before your crack pipe gets cold!

I do business with Lincare but I don't like them calling all the time to try and sell me supplies.  I have told them this but it seems to go to deaf ears.  I know their phone number if I need supplies and I will call them if I need something they sell.  It is just a way of them making more money by trying to get someone to buy something they do not need in my opinion.  Because of their aggressive ways of telemarketing, I seldom buy from them unless I absolutely need something.  Also, it is strange they never leave a message even though we have voice mail.

When Lincare calls and leaves a message all we are allowed to say is the name of the company and that we are calling regarding supplies. the phone number is included as well as the hours and days we are open.  Our name does not appear on caller id because then it would be a violation of HIPPA. If we call and you do not want to hear from the call center just tell us to take you off of the list and we will.  We are only trying to improve our patients lives and to earn a living doing so.

They started calling when i first got my machine.   I ordered the first batch of stuff they said i needed.  Then i told them to not call again.  They then started to send me email. Then the next month I got letters in the mail.   Now there calling again.  But I guess this constant pestering must be because im a "Valued Customer."  lol

Did not answer the number, came here first.  Figured by reading that I will call and press 0, it said to leave a mesage.  Said on the message, we will contact our local provider with any needs, and that we are on the "Do Not Call List", and not to call us again.

Kyle called me from this number. said he was with lincare & wanted to know if I needed any supplies for my cpap. however, lincare does not provide my cpap supplies. only oxygen. he claimed the company I used previously no longer supplies me or merged with lincare. when I asked him the name of this co he had no knowledge. he also did not know anything about my oxygen or anything else. this seemed like a telemarketing call to me. he clained it was not. that he was with lincare. I asked if he was doing telemarketing for lincare to try to sell their products and he said no. this was so fishy, I told him I would check into it further with the local companies and call him tomorow. his hours are 1p to 10p eastern time. that seems like telemarketing hours to me.

This number is the Lincare Supply Center in Florida.
If you picked up your CPAP machine locally, they got your number.
They  are the ones that received your original script from the DOC.
They sent your CPAP machine to the local office.
They will call monthly to see if you need supplies.

I've had very pleasant and courteous service both from the local Lincare RTs and the phone staff. As mentioned above, my mask cushion does start to leak after some use, and I find the replacement filters (the white ones, not the permanent filter) to be useful since I have several animals and can see a noticeable color change over a two week period of filtering.  For both of these reasons, I don't mind the calls to offer replacements as covered by my insurance.

It is an annoyance that their identification can't be displayed per HIPPA, but I set that number up as a contact in my phone labeled as Lincare so it will display.

Someone called me today from this number and they left a message and they talked so fast I had no idea who it was.  All I could understand was it is about supplies.  I listened to the message 3 times and had no idea who it was.  I did just get a CPAP machine.

Whenever my caller ID indicates that the caller is unavailable then I am unavailable to answer.  It is just not safe to answer these kinds of calls.  That's why I have caller ID>  When I need to order supplies for my CPAP, I will make the call.

I have been receiving unwanted calls from them. I do have a CPAP machine but have never purchased anything from them, never communicated with them and had never heard of them until I read this board.

Apparently someone has violated HIPPA by providing my name to them. Not happy!
