- JoThis number routes to a collection agency in your area....I googled the address that was provided for my zip code....A very clever, dirty approach to use when a lot of folks are out of jobs through no fault of their own. If you can, block the number through your phone provider. That's what I did.

- must love chocolate replies to AnnoyedOnei feel ya. my resume was posted on careerbuiler and i got the message the day after. waste of time and resources, these sites should screen for stupid ass schemes like these and not sell our info to make a buck.
- RobI just got this message today; I have my resume on Career Builder and Monster. I have applied to a few jobs, but after reading this, I won't be calling back!! Thanks for your help everyone, and be careful!
- ---I just checked my phone and also recieved the same call. I searched them Better Business Bureau (http://www.bbb.org) to see what type of business they are and found out that they were not listed. I wanted to do some background information on the phone number before calling back. After reading about the information on this number, it looks like I will not be calling them back at all.

- MiriamI just listened to the vm what a bunch of crap. The company name is Concord in Concord California Yeah Right!
Listen up if you are on Career Builder, DCJOBS, DICE or any other job search engine, these agencies will hunt you down sending blanket emails stating that they have read your resume any believe that you are great for their business. It is the biggest insurance scam going around the country. You go to these seminars and at the end of the the session they want you to pay for the classes and the test not to mention the gas it costs to drive back and forth to these classes. If you go check it out just look at where the interviews are being held. When you get there it will be more people sitting and waiting for a job interview, which turns out to be a seminar of selling insurance door-to-door. It will be in a nice building but the office or rooms themselves will not be furnished all the way. Just chairs. You will probably wait at least an hour before they start. Anyway- Caller: Concord
- cariYeah I gotta call from this # too. It sounds too weird.
- PSL FloridaA voice mail was left because I was unavailable and therefore not answering my phone. I was highly suspicious of a recording that didn't leave the name of the company it was calling from, or any real information for that matter. All it left was this number, and because I was afraid of what happened when I called and I'm tired of listening to scams I did a search for this number and came here. Thank you all for basically confirming my suspicions.
I read the ripoff report link at the bottom of the first page, and I see why they are so desperate to find people, anybody with sense or needing to pay bills wouldn't work with them long. Also I keep getting the same blanket e-mail from them. This type of thing is so annoying and frequent its why I hate job searching.
Here is the computer message I received:
You're resume was received by our company. We think you have the skills and abilities we need. We're hiring! We would like to discuss having an interview with you this week. To schedule an interview please call 1-888-673-4109.I called and it wanted me to leave a message...are you kidding?- Caller: unknown
- Need WorkI just received a call today from this number 1 888 673 4109 and I listened to the message twice to see if they had left the name of the company but they didn't so I decided to get online and search for the company by using the phone number because I have been applying for jobs everywhere. I am so glad that I did because all these sites came up about this number being a scam so I am actually glad that I decided to search. After reading all this information I will not be calling that number back and can delete it from my voice mail. That is really sad that people would do that when they know times are hard and people really need jobs out here.
Thanks everyone for your post.

- Santana replies to MikeysAliaThe same incident I got April 14. I Live in FL. I was also highly suspicious of a recording that didn't leave any company name it was calling from, or any information. All it left was this number, and because I was afraid of what happened when I called I came here. Thank you for confirming my suspicions. I also dislike job hunting on the internet. I have much better results person to person, because I interview well. I have a good persona that I value as an asset in my job hunting.
- lookingThank you everyone for comments. It is very sad there is so many people willing to prey on others. It is hard to look for any kind of jobs and when you need to deal with scams on top of it, it is even harder. In my last job I had seen it with my own eyes - people getting scammed of, all their savings left with nothing, by bogus companies - so good luck and be very very careful - do you research! - on every company you are interested in.

How many of you got this phone call after posting your resume on career builders??? I keep getting spam e-mails saying that they got my resume off career builders ... I think I should pull it, apparently that sight isn't very secure or they sell our info very cheap. - Rober ReyesI got that phone call two days ago they lift a message to call this number 1-888-673-4109 for interview but nobody calls you back.

- Justice Prevails| 1 replyJust got the same call on Wed night around 6:30 pm, while sitting in my Criminal Justice class. Like everyone else the automated system left a message about reviewing my resume on line and wanting to set up an interview. As the same thing happened when I called, got a message saying the lines were busy and to leave a message. I'm going to check w/my instructor on Monday night to see if any thing can be done about this. I too googled it to see if I could find any information about the business and this is what I got.

- VeronicaJust received a call from a 925 number and let it go to voicemail. I recently posted a resume on yahoo hot jobs and edd gov jobs. Like the other posts it was an automated message about a career oppurtunity. No company was named and the number was 888-673-4109. Not going to call back.
- MartinWhy doesen't the Government stop this type of scam instead of just talking about wall street. This is effecting people who need a real job instead of being scammed out of their last dollar when they are down.
