I answered today. Globe and mail. Boycott on. I won't even click on a globe link thanks to 26 unwanted phone calls. What a foolish way to market in this era.

Call from Globe & Fail for sub told them not interested. I hope they stop calling

All day every day. My phone does not stop ringing from long distance calls. Early as 7:30 am as late as 10:30 pm.
They tell you your computer is at risk. If you answer and say no thank you they call you back from a different or "unknown number".  We don't answer anymore, but I am tired of screening my calls. Yesterday they called and I told them to "go to Hell" and they still called back today. Never leaving a message. They say they are from Windows but they are not. This has been going on for 3 months now. Everyday!

Received a call from this nuimber at 6.20 this eveing. Saw your comment about calling them back and press 1 to be erased. Did this. The voice said that it was a telemarketing company and to press 1 if I wanted taken off their list. Then it aasked me to enter my number. Then I got the busy signal

I am so sick with all these calls. Can the government do anything about these telemarketing call. ?

Telemarketing company that is used by many companies.  This time for the Globe and Mail for subscription.  Before this same number and company represented a vacation winning scam.  They have no ethics, if you have the money they will represent Isis as a charity to call you.  The Canadian telemarketing no call list is a joke...so many loop holes and no enforcement power at all.  Funny when I had my number on the "no call list", I actually got more telemarketing calls.

Yes, I share everyone's frustration. My motto is to only answer calls from phone numbers that I recognize. If an unrecognized number calls, and it is important enough, they will leave a message. After a while, they will hopefully give up. "Call Display" can be one's best friend! I would not be without it.

This number calls often but leaves no message.  Called the number back and found it was a marketing company.  Hopefully they won't call again after I pressed 1 to remove my number.

Comtel calling on behalf of globe and mail asking about customer service and trying to sell or upgrade your subscription

This is the Globe and Mail trying to get you to subscribe. I have this nimber blocked on my phone for several years, but seem they are stepping up the campaign recently. Poor and outdated marketing

If you have call display and see the number come up, don't answer. If everyone stopped answering, they might stop calling.

Only picked up because it said private caller and number. The only person who shows up like that is a family member so I answered would not tell me who they are wanted to talk to my husband. Only got the number from call display on my TV it showed up after I answered the phone.

More calls than enough from this number. I cannot block it as I am told they cannot block that number. No one there. No one speaks after this call comes in.

scam. the worst thing you can do is push 1 to be put on the do not call list, whem what you are realy doing is telling them that it is a active number, and maybe your name, as far as i know the globe and mail stopped printing do to lack of sails. best thing is to block the scammer!

called back and entered 1 to be removed from the list

bought a ref's whistle and blasted them hard. i enjoyed doing it. i don't want to be bothered. i hope they got a headache from my whistle.

This number keeps calling our home 888-682-0070, with no name.
