Well I thought I was alone. This morning I looked at my bank account on line and so two authorized debits. One of $2.95, and the other $87.13. I never made these transactions. After I tried unsuccessfully to contact this company I closed out my debit card. I'll have to wait about 7 days to receive a new one, but it is worth the waite. This company apparently is in Great Britain, and I don't know if it has anything to do with a porn site as other comments here have suggested. What is good is that this transaction isn't suppose to take place for a couple of days from now. Therefore, I have a good chance of being able to cancel it before it goes through. Maybe the Federal Trade Commission should get involved with this.

Then they charged me 80 some dollars. They finally took it off my account and are now doing it through some other service. I called there number and they don't exist anymore. This other number does nothing but plays music for hours on end.Would love to find out who these people are and have there lives ruined right before xmas like they did mine

I'm on the phone with my bank right now. It's for a teeth whitening product called "Bright Whites". I remember using this product about 6 months ago, and I called them back then to tell them I didn't want to keep using their product. Seems like they didn't understand my point. I'm about to call them. You should call them as well and get your money back from this scam!

Folks, you've got to kill your cards. Scammers have your card data and will use it in the future. Tell your card issuers this is fraud and you want all your money refunded. Happy hols to all.

@ Diana. My last transaction was at Exxon In Santa Ana, Ca and then literally minutes after that a charge from ELG tech for $63 was put on my acct. I also used my card directly at the pump. This is an epidemic of fraud and these people will get caught...I hope.

I got the same charge from  ELG Tech $68.45 on my credit card last week. I am disputing the charge with credit card companay since I normally don't purchase anything online. Did your bank ever recover your funds? I also called that number 888-729-1134 and the operator informed me number has been disabled...how weird?

I have been in contact with the ftc federal trade comisssion, the attorney generals offfice and the better business bureau. I would advise you all to do the same. Lets get this scam stopped before anymore innocent people get burned. It's horrible what they are doing. I called the number this morning and got music playing. I left my phone sitting on speaker for 6 hours today listening to music waiting for customer service rep...LOL. Now I call back and number has been discontinued. WHAT A SCAM!!

Just got the identical situation on my card today (12/23/10).  My BOA credit card security department is chasing it.  I'll have to get a new CC number and notify a zillion companies that do electronic payments with us.  What a shame that these idiots really think they are going to get away with this!!!!

I checked my cc today, and found a charge on dec 21st from ELGTECH for 59.97 - that was not authorized by me!!  Looked up ELGTECH and got this page... called my cc company to report fraud.  This is ridiculous!  Nothing like this happening right before Christmas!  I now have to go thru a fraud process with my cc co. for this... ridiculous!
