My mother recieved a call today from that # saying my social security card had a flag on it and if I did'nt call in 24hrs they would take legal action. I called left a voicemail, a guy using the name "John Jones" called me back and would'nt answer any questions or tell me what its about. I informed him I contacted police which I did! Then he proceeded to hang-up on me after saying I'll send it to legal dept. I urge everyone thats get this call to contact your local police dept. and give them all info. you have on this place.

I got a call just like that person using name "John Jones" I urge you to contact your local police dept. and make a report thats what I did and gave them all the info. I had on this person and buisness.

I got the call today from a "John Jones" he hung up on me after I informed him I already spoke to police in my hometown, I researched their address they don't exsist.

received a phone call from # 888-762-5195 - actually they left a message. Said something about being a person of interest in a very important matter and to call them back.  I did not call them back.  I have no idea who these people are, nor do I know how they got my un-listed phone number.  After reading all these complaints from other people, I see that I'm not alone.  That is all I know.

Just received a call from this number on my cell - asking for someone with my first and maiden last names.  Pressed "1" to connect to the caller (because I wanted to tell them "WRONG NUMBER") - it connected to some bad elevator music and then disconnected.  I'd like to know where they got my cell phone number...

I have been receiving calls from this 1-888-772-4172 and 1-888-762-5195 both saying I was a person of interest in an important matter. When I called 5195 back they stated it was a mistake in their system and didnt not have my name or phone number when they did an inquiry 4172 said the same thing; which leads me to believe these two companies may just be looking up random numbers trying to scam people. Although the representatives were both very nice and appologetic from both of these companies I would lawyer before I gave them any kind of information.

I just got a call from them looking for a Susan Bobbie.. Don't know her so wont call them back.. lol We've gotten calls from other places like this looking for other people's names but hey I'm not calling back if you really are who you are then you'll contact me by mail that's the legal way to do it.. On the phone you can be who ever you want so Unless I really know who you are your just a scammer.. I don't fall for scams.

They called my mother-in-law and left a message for me to call them or they would take immediate legal action.  I called this number and they asked for my social security number.  Because I was very tired from work that day and not thinking, I stupidly gave them the last 4 of my social.  They ran it through their computer and could not find anything to match it.  They asked if I knew of a Karen Crawford who lived in Florida.  (this person is my ex-sister-in-law).  I told them I had never met her and did not know where she lived.  My mother-in-law called her daughter (who is very intelligent) and she googled this number.  Turns out its a big scam!!!!!   Never pick up or answer when they call!

08/18/2010 I received a voice mail message from (888) 762-5195. The message was for a former boyfriend that used my cell phone number as his. I called the number using a different phone and their recording stated "You have reaced the office of Cornerstone Resolutions Group. This firm participates with attorneys." When I pressed "1" some "boy" (couldn't be more than 18) answered unprofessionally. I did not give any information to him and just I hung up.

Me too...got the weird phone message, "person of interest" re: "Parent **** (a last name)"  That in itself was a red flag.  I immediately went to my verizon phone account and placed a block  on both the caller id number of 213-550-4581 as well as the return number to call, 888-762-5195.  After reading the nightmare stories of getting continuous harrassing calls here, I wanted to avoid that altogether.

I actually saw this story on Dateline on NBC.  These clowns just pick up and move from one storefront to another.

My dad got a call from then asking for me.. But they asked for me under my maiden name! I was dumb enough to call them back and leave them my current contact number... UGH!! Oh well.. guess i get to use the "rejection ring tone" I downloaded after all!!.... If i find out more about them then I will post it!

Just got a call from them, 888-762-5195. Asked to speak to a person I've never heard of, must be the wrong name. Told me to dial back and press extension 1, else "important decisions" will be made without me. Yet the call doesn't even concern me.

Sounds like an enormous load of fraudulent crap.

I received a call from 888-895-8613 and which stated that we had 48 hours to contact them to settle or a law suit would be filed.  I'm wondering if this is the same organization using a different number.  I looked for them but the number was not listed but the name appears to be the same people.

Hi... must be pretty automated.  I just got two calls from them on both my phone lines - at the same time.

Been looking for a person who I've never heard of for a number of years.

anyways.. ignoring them just doesn't seem to be enough

Had a message for my wife from this number with her maiden name.  Been married 7 years, went through all 3 credit reports and paid off all outstanding debts 3 years ago.  Definitely a scam.

Caller, female, left voicemail message.  Call was for someone who does not live at my address/phonenumber - and the call was to my cellphone, not a landline number.  Message indicated to call the number and Ext.#1 or they would proceed without my participation in a legal matter.  I called the number to inform them that there was no one by the stated name at this number.  Futher informed them to not call my number again and that I would have my attorney contact them if they did call.  They claim to be BBB listed but they are not.  Just another Scam outfit I believe.

I'm just tired of the constant calls.

888-762-5195--called my bf's brother--he said he was doing an FBI investigation and he was contacting people that know him because he is a person of interest.  when the brother asked who he was and what is was about he would not say.  i called the 888 number it says, i believe, "cornerstone resolutions"--oh please is it not against the law to try to make someone believe that they are law inforcement assosiates?  the recording doesn't say they are lawyers or anyone that matters---if you listen it just says office theat does business with lawyers--every business deals with a lawyer in some way---they are without a doubt scammers---real debt collectors will give you information and prove you owe money afterall they want their cut of what you pay

Can any one help me on this??? 2 wks ago i got a call from a gentlemen named "Don Harris" he had my correct info stating i owed a payday loan pace he had last 4 of my social as well and said i owe them money or further matters would take place such has court! well i googled the address and number and i see all these links saying its a scam!!! plzz help im a single mother of four and cant afford this scam....

hun its not a scam... just tell him to not beat around the bush.... ask what u owe and see what they can do for you! its not a scam.. the people that say it is are just broke debtors looking for an excuse to not pay what they owe!!!
